This was my third time staying at the Travelodge Pattaya and once again it didn't disappoint! I stayed at the end of October for 11 nights after having a week in Phuket. I really can't recommend this hotel enough.
The location is superb. Turn right out of the hotel and you are a 2 minute walk to Soi Bukhao. Turn left and you have the Avenue complex which you can walk through to Second road and then straight on to Beach road. There is also a road to the right of the very convenient 7/11 across the road which will take you onto Soi Diana and easy access to LK Metro. There is also a very good sports bar called Korando's next door where you can watch every single sport you can imagine and they have many beers on draught.
The room itself is spotless with a very comfy bed that has memory foam mattress and pillows. I sleep better here than I do when I'm at home! I've had no issues whatsoever with the shower, always hot with plenty of pressure. On the highest setting it's like a power wash! Plenty of storage room for clothes. The only thing I would advise is to bring some hangers as they only have a few in the wardrobe. (I bought 20 from the DIY store in the Avenue for about 100 baht if you don't have room to pack any). 2 free bottles of water are left in your room every day so I never ran out.
The pool on the roof is a lovely place to relax during the day. It's a little more expensive than what you're likely to find outside of the hotel but all the staff are extremely courteous and I don't mind paying a few extra baht for the service. I didn't have breakfast here so can't comment on that.
I really can't believe some of the comments about the reception staff as they were all lovely and friendly towards me when I was there. The hotel is guest friendly so you won't have any problems if you want to take a partner back for the night.
There have been ongoing roadworks outside on Soi 15 for the last few months but I think they have moved further down the road now so not as much of a disruption.
I'm back in January and have booked the Travelodge again because in my opinion nothing else compares for the price you pay.

4 of us have just returned from Thailand. We stayed at this hotel, despite the reviews which had us slightly worried. We need not have worried. Check in was late afternnon, however, we arrived in Bangkok very early and got a taxi to the hotel. The reception staff were so helpful, even allowing us to check in to a room that was ready. The rooms were spacious and spotless. We did not hear people in the other room, despite other reviews saying this.
The hotel itself had a rooftop pool, which was again pleasant enough. Remember your not paying Hilton prices or top end hotel prices.
I cannot recomend this hotel enough. We will make this the hotel we use on every return and will recomend it to anyone staying in Pattaya.

I checked out of the hotel two 3 days before i was really going because i was met with a dirty bed sheet lying on the floor of my room. I found that the bed sheet that was on the first day I arrived at the hotel was the same as the one on the floor the day I left, so thay did not change for over a week. My wife asked in Thai for one of the washers if they could change earlier in the week but then the bed sheets were running out.
No one asked why we checked out earlier than planned.
My friend slept in another room to experience the same thing with the bed sheets and that he didn't always get new towels even though he put them in the shower.

4th time I choose this hotel and quality and service are still as expected. Pool is relatively small and sunlounchers still slippery. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Breakfast at the 8th floor is good with choice of western or oriental food.

Stayed two nights alone. The walls were so thin that you will hear almost every sounds neighbors of your room make, including the very uncomfortable sounds of the bathroom of your above room. I found some ants in the bathroom almost every day but the number was not so much that I could endure.

I stayed at Travellodge for a week and my experience has been nothing short of fantastic. The staff is really friendly and caring. Special thanks to Naphat, Paew & Art other front office staff who were very caring and cooperative. Art also very kind to arrange dinner for my first test and go night.
The room was well presented and spacious. The gym had just the equipment I needed. The breakfast spread was also very good. The location is very convenient. Overall I highly recommend Travelodge if you are looking for value deals. I definitely will be looking forward to visit there again.

This is a lovely accomodation and loacted near the beac (if you use shortcut) and also to Pattaya Central and Pattaya Festival. I didn't try the g=breakfast but there is a lovely pool at the rooftop next to the cafe. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful.

Let's start with the positives: Good location, where the action is. Staff, polite and helpful. Breakfast, various and good. Swimming pool, great to relax.
The negatives: noise, they have an old water system, so some rooms (eg. at the 7th floor) suffer for an intermittent engine sound which might keep you off a quiet sleep. WiFi: very very slow, particularly in downloading, at the point that Google speed test will hardly measure it even at different hours. So, if you choose to stay there, adopt the appropriate countermeasures!

Yes, if you book a room x 2 people...
On check in you'll be given an electronic badge to be used as key of the room. The same card must to be used in the lift. When you take the lift, you can select freely the floors 1 (reception), 2 (gym) and 8 (restaurant and pool), but, for safety, if you want to go to the floors 3 to 7 (rooms) you must tap your card on the lift control panel in order to get permission to select the floor number, otherwise the panel will not work. That said you must go and meet your guests at the reception and take them to your room.
