Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This was my fourth stay at this hotel due to its proximity to beach and bars. But as is the case with Thai people, bars and hotels; this hotel also does not care about repeat customers. Glaringly, it has very bad reception staff consisting of one girl, one boy and one senior lady. Both these ladies are very dry, rude and pretend not to understand the requirements and this was second time in row for me. Room offered has dim lights, no view and smelly towels. Breakfast is same everyday and bland. Omelette maker doesn't know how to make a good one. Coffee doesn't smell like coffee. This is my last visit to Flipper Lodge.

Centrally located and rooms are clean and quiet. Staff are friendly and buffet breakfast is a mix of Asian and Western Beds are a bit hard. Pool top pool and bar are excellent a little crowded, but is expected in peak times

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel for 2 days with my spouse. The location was unbeatable as it was directly facing the beach. The room was impeccably clean and had a modern aesthetic. Breakfast was also a highlight for us. We would definitely choose this hotel again if we return to Pattaya.

Walked into the Lodge, approached the front reception and the staff did not even greet us. They looked annoyed, no smile, just stared at us and said nothing. We had to say hello, we had to say we booked accommodation and they just demanded booking confirmation and passports. They did not even say hello. Our greeting was absolutely terrible. Actual, the staff at reception was terrible for the whole time we were there (4 nights). We asked a few questions about the area. We were not even acknowledged until we asked again. They were annoyed and did not want to help at all. Not one did we see a smile for the time we stayed there. Seriously Flipper Lodge, the front desk should think about greeting customers in a nice friendly manner, it may make them come back as we would not step foot in this place again! Absolutely shocking customer service!!!

Absolutely the place where a white aged foreigner best choice. We chosen here because of location just right in front of beach, suddenly while we driving into narrow alley, you realized that it not ideally suitable for family with children as it all entertaining bar all being surrounding and very noisy in the night.
Even though the staff is very welcoming and accommodating but room really need to be renovating and improve hot water system.

Close to pubs, shopping malls and beach road. At first I thought that the street noise would disturb our sleep as the premise is situated along the bustling alley (Soi 8), lots of bars restaurants; but once you're in it was completely silent. The hotel offers fresh and good breakfast, which they serve until 12 noon. Reception staff always nice. They helped arrange for the many places we visited. We got surprised after returning back late, Christmas night; when opening the door, we saw a letter; thought might be a bill, but it was a Christmas card. We really appreciate the way we were both treated. Thanks Flipper Lodge staff.

Hotel Staff not friendly. When I check in they not even smile the lobby staff. Need to more communications skill. Room was clean but the problem is there was no tooth brush at room. when I call room service nobody answer the phone. Pool close 7 PM too early. Dinner food is too bad. Breakfast is not too much choose.

Stayed only 1 night. My girlfriend got some lipstick on a towel (3 cm wide mark). Charged us 400 baht (half the price of the room). When I tried to question it, they suddenly could not speak English anymore. STAY AWAY!

i have stay in many hotels in pattaya but flipper lodge is my first choice. i always stay in the A wing ,fantastic sea view ,very fresh and clean . all the staff are friendly and helpful never had a problem. going again next year, definitely flipper lodge. thank you to all the staff for making my stay a real pleasure. best regartds from rop room 512
