Dusit Thani Pattaya enjoys a status and the resort hotel presents a luxurious blend of city comforts and beach relaxation for individual travellers, business executives and family holidaymakers. It is a very short distance to the many family attractions in the resort city including parks and gardens, cosmopolitan dining as well as diverse and upscale shopping venues. It has three restaurants - Cascade Restaurant is located near the main lobby overlooking the hotel’s Atrium and waterfall. The Peak fully justifies a claim to being Pattaya’s finest Chinese Restaurant offering an excellent Dim Sum menu and a la carte menu of Chinese cuisine. Choice food in more casual surroundings is offered at The Bay, where the best skewers are served and the most famous weekend dining in town (The Bay Grill & Buffet)is held. Dusit Gourmet Bakery offers a wide variety of gourmet snacks, pastries, cakes, ice creams, teas and aromatic coffees. Dusit Shop has gift items and Thai souvenirs while other shops include a tailor's and jewellery store that are also worth a visit. These perfectly complement the eco-friendly hotel's Deluxe, Club Rooms, Club Grand Rooms and Suites along with the extensive facilities and amenities it offers.

Dusit Thani Pattaya garners mixed feelings among guests, with its service ranging from commendable for attentiveness to criticisms regarding housekeeping. While the spaciousness and cleanliness of rooms are often highlighted, calls for refurbishment and better soundproofing surface in several reviews. The hotel's value is generally appreciated, given its satisfactory facilities and deals, despite some service-related grievances.
Amenities, particularly the comfortable beds and pristine pools, along with the hotel’s prime location near the beach and local attractions, receive high marks. The atmosphere, with its tropical touches, is well-liked, though an update is suggested by some.

I stayed at Dusit Thani Pattaya after this hotel had been recommended to me from a close friend. It certainly did not disappoint. Check in was quick and easy. As I was in an executive room, my check in took place in the lounge. I was pleasantly surprised that my room got upgraded to a King Executive Room which was exceedingly spacious, The bathroom included both a bath and shower with excellent amenities.
The shower was a rain shower, There was also a shower outside on the balcony which meant you could shower open air if you wanted.
The bed was a super king-sized and exceedingly comfortable. TV was well positioned and bedside had both power sockets both sides and full light units which meant I could control the lights from the full room from my bedside. There was a desk with power sockets and comfortable leather chair which was ideal to work at. The room also included a balcony which was spacious and had two deckchairs with cushions. WiFi was also available in the room and was consistently fast. The room also gave 4x bottles of complimentary water per day, more than sufficient for one person!
The executive lounge was slightly disappointing I felt. It was very busy during evening cocktails and although included cocktails, beers, wines and spirits the food selection was poor. However, the executive rooms let you get 3 items of cleaning done per day complimentary which was excellent and that with a few drinks at night you certainly get your money back on an executive room.
Breakfast was equally impressive, If you were in an executive room you could choose to either have breakfast downstairs in the main restaurant or in the executive lounge. I always opted to dine downstairs in the main restaurant which was very tasty. The first morning I was there around 6am and it was very quiet and staff were very attentive with tea and coffee. You can also request cappuccino or speciality coffees from the servers, These are also included in the price and very good. Breakfast was slightly busier around 9.30am however still enough seats and was quickly shown to a table.
Pool areas were very pleasant with the hotel having two large pools, There was always enough deckchairs and the pool attendant goes over and sets up your deckchair both with a towel on the deckchair and also one for your head. The way the pools are situated you are overlooking the sea which is spectacular. During my time swimming I found the pool to be a good temperature and never too busy.
Checkout was fast and straight forward, was so sad to leave such an excellent hotel but am sure I will return soon.

We came to stay at this particular hotel in homage to my Mum who used to love coming here so many years ago. What a class act! From the moment we got out of the taxi, the greeting from all staff was warm and honest. As we had a Club Room we were quickly whisked away up to the 8th floor where we had a dedicated check in as well as a private lounge, with a great view out to sea and along the length of the beach. This lounge is for all Club Room customers and offers separate private dining room for breakfast as well as free food (not a meal but more than nibbles) from 10am to 10pm and Happy Hour each day from 5.30pm to 7.30pm where you get free alcoholic drink as well as the usual soft ones.We had a great room with free fresh fruit and water each day as well as 3 pieces of laundry each day. We ate in both main restaurants and had great food and excellent service. The Bay looks out across Pattaya Bay and you can eat outside and Cascades is inside but you can sit by the Garden Atrium with the waterfall. Both create a great ambience! The resort has three good size pools and there is also a pool bar which serve beers and good cocktails as well as soft drinks. When we left to go back to Bangkok we had a great small limo to take us which was booked through the Hotel Tours desk and was good value. So we had the best time, celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and just generally chilling out. Everything about the hotel was so good and made us feel so relaxed. We would definitely go back!

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2020, and was pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of this beautiful hotel. It oozes class, and although I was a solo traveler, I would happily bring my wife and teenage kids here, knowing they would not be disappointed.
The location of the Dusit Thani is in the north part of Pattaya, and whilst it’s still within this busy seaside town, the hotel situated in a very tranquil and carefully secluded area.
I travel to the UAE quite a lot, so have high expectations of reputable brands of hotels like the Dusit. Somehow, I wasn’t expecting too much from this hotel in Pattaya, but was blown away with the beauty, the grand entrance, the marble and design of the lobby, which includes the beautiful rainforest in the atrium.
My club room was very nice, with a very cozy bed and all the amenities you’d expect in a good 5 star hotel.
There are two different pool areas, both offering different experiences and views with their own personal charms.
The hotel can give you access to the beach road within 30 seconds if you take the exit via the security gate near the pool which is on a lower tier. It’s a lovely place to walk down at night, with access to an array of shopping outlets and restaurants.
Needless to say, staff and service was excellent, so I would definitely recommend if you like a bit of class.
During my stay the hotel was dominated by European and Russian clientele, which may be because of the recent travel restrictions from China possibly?
My only criticism of the hotel is that large parts of the gym, and a part of the the steam and sauna areas have low ceilings, which means for taller people like me, you find yourself ducking a lot to avoid banging your head!

The hotel service is amazing everyone is so helpful. Room was huge. Phimthong I think that was her name at the front desk was very helpful at explaining everything in English during check in. Book online the website directly they have 1000 baht voucher. Only thing is I think house cleaning forgot to rinse my ice tongs to the room and lid. No biggy it happens. Just used hot water to get off the ick. But i called for ice and showed them the stuff on it and they just replaced it quickly. Also they answer very quickly via Facebook too if you have any questions. They also have a buffet on Friday and Saturday which is 799 baht total. Worth it considering the seafood and meat. Wanted to stay for Saturday but it was totally booked out. Would definitely come back and stay again.

I am currently staying at the hotel and wish I wasn't. I have given 2 stars because of the very nice public areas, panoramic views and location but that is where the good news ends. When I checked in I was given a room with another building in front of balcony, stained carpets and horrible bathroom. I soon changed but was given a connecting room also with stained carpets. Whilst I have been here including today there has been 2 weddings with no consideration to other guests. My room is surrounded by wedding guests keeping me awake most of the night. Despite having do not disturb light on a wedding guest kept knocking on my door early this morning having got room numbers mixed up. All day today the largest pool area is closed unless of course you are in the wedding party with the whole hotel suffering from the loud music.

Dear 314Andrew, Many thanks for your feedback. I offer my humblest apologies for failing to meet your expectations and for our remiss in ensuring your stay experience with us was to your satisfaction. I am glad that our duty manager, Khun Wanna met up with you to address some of the issues and assigned you a new room (742). Whenever we close an area with a 48 hours prior notice, an alternative venue/pool is provided to other guests. If a large group is there (all in-house guests too) and we do not close the area, we will be asked too as to why we do not pre-warn/inform other guests and totally close the area. Let me reassure you that your sentiments are well noted and we are sorry for some of the shortcomings. I know we can do better and hope to welcome you back to a more satisfying experience. Graciously yours, Neoh Kean Boon General Manager

This is my second visit to this premium property. As an elite member of the property group, my room this time was upgraded to a premium deluxe seaview and was also given a few pieces of free coupons for enjoying the facilities with no extra charge.
All the staff members are very cheerful and warmly welcoming their guests, including those who are servicing at the restaurant. They are helpful and friendly. They know I am a coffee lover, they even allowed me to bring an extra cup to enjoy in my room, excellent! I enjoyed the very good breakfast. Ms Saythip, the lovely and sweet front desk staff assisting me throughout my stay, she's very helpful and polite.
Ohya, one more thing worth to mention, this property is very close to Pattaya Terminal 21, it's just a less than 5 mins walk. There are plenty of shops and food stores with multiple varieties and colorful of food there. Overall I appreciate my stay 2 nights with 1 night free staycation voucher. Bravo DTPattaya and I definitely look forward to your excellent service in the near future.

From the moment we arrived the professionalism started, we parked our car in the car park and straight away the staff arrived at the car to carry our luggage into reception. The receptionist spoke perfect English and was warm and very helpful, telling me that everything in the refrigerator was complementary, the porter whisked our luggage up to our room and was waiting when we arrived.A few hours later I approached reception and the receptionist remembered my name. The room had every luxury you could need and the pillows and bed linen were amazing. The limousine service provided by the hotel was first class and the driver spoke really good English and was very helpful telling us about the local area. I cannot believe that there is a hotel in Pattaya with a more professional management and staff team.

She did the perfectly checking in for me. the housekeeping was so good service. The one who cleaned my washroom during the stay was so attentive person. She not only cleaned the washroom but she also checked my toilet bowl and found the toilet seat cover was loose. She offered engineer to fix it then. So kind of her( sorry I forgot her name ). The hotel have a lot of facilities. the pool, the view, the service are gorgeous!! I had spent my whole holiday in there. Hopefully I will have the time the spend there again soon!!

I was expecting a luxurious experience, booking at the Dusit Thani Pattaya, but found the rooms to be old and in a real need of renovation.
Some of the towels in the bathroom were tattered at the edges and not really white. The room service was not great. Bathrooms were old and had mold under the sink edges. The carpet were old and stained. The room did not give me a clean feel. The sheets and pillows were ok though. In general all the customer service at this location was lagging
The pools and view from the room balcony were good.
However they are too expensive compared to similar facilities and cleaner rooms in other hotels I have stayed in Pattaya and I was very disappointed with the rooms.
