Loved staying at Amari Watergate. Courteous staff, welcoming and sweet. It must have been the 20th stay there in 15-18 years. So happy to see major improvements. Can’t wait for the sky bar! One of the things we loved was, as soon as you connect to the operator, they say “How can we make your day brighter?” 🫶🏻
->Area and Surroundings: The hotel is extremely well located just 10 minute walk to Siam Paragon Mall or lot of other shopping malls. (For which Bangkok is famous for). You could also find lots of seven eleven and restaurants in the vicinity. Though in true sense, you would never need to step out to eat food, the hotel itself has so many awesome options for food. ->Room: We booked a premier room but were upgraded to a SUITE room by hotel compliments. Really special thanks to Mr. Nanttadej Phumsupyuenyong (Nathan) to get us a really wonderful suite on the 25th Floor. They also upgraded my friends in the same category room which is a real gesture. We had one of the most wonderful hotel rooms, and I already have started missing it. Loaded with all modern amenities which were tactfully placed, the room soon started to give a homely feeling. Being a suite room, it had a huge living area and a separate bedroom. The living area had a comfortable sofa setup for watching television and an executive work desk with chairs. For ease this area had its own powder Toilet. The bedroom had a closet area and a wonderful bathing area. The bedroom was also very big with luxurious bedding, a pillow menu and what not. It definitely had its own day bed setup to watch just enjoy being on heights and views of Bangkok Skyline. A broad Chester which houses a mini fridge and minibar, tea kettle, glasses etc. They had consideration that I am traveling with a 5-year-old and hence also placed a separate bed and kept all amenities for her. It was a pleasure to see notes the care and detailing done by hotel before we arrived. Must mention, as I was checked in to the room, the room’s study desk was beautifully decorated with loads of chocolates, cakes and local bakery delicacies. I was truly pleased and awestruck. I have never experienced such warm welcome before. ->Bathroom and Bathing experience: The bathroom had sliding door to the bedroom on the bathing tub side. The kids really enjoyed the bath tub. There was a glass enclosed shower area as well and gave a good bathing experience. The bathroom was very clean and hygenic. ->Hotel Staff: Extremely polite, welcoming, interactive and warm. Each of them deserves star to be performing for the hotel wonderfully. I have never seen such a good presentation from a hotel staff on arrival. They explained us each and every thing about the hotel. They provided us with the area map, discount coupons, wifi codes etc with great patience and love. ->Breakfast: The breakfast was one of the biggest spreads that I have seen it recent times. (I must admit it was bigger than JW Marriott buffet). The food was phenomenal and touched cuisines from all over the world. It’s not easy to be putting up such a huge show each morning. We really enjoyed the Indian delicacies specially prepared for all guests. I must mention the most innovative kids desert area with a cotton candy machine was a first for me. The pastries and other deserts were decorated in different cartoon character shapes and sies to charm the young guests. WOOOOW food from the hotel at all times. The food once delivered to room was piping hot and has same quality as served in the restaurant. ->Swimming Pool / Gym / Spa: The hotel had a great pool but due to time, I was not able to take a plunge. I must say that the hotel has a great spa, I really loved the massage which was very professional and really helped me relax after a long and tiring day. ->Special mention: I am really thankful to Mr. Nanttadej Phumsupyuenyong (Nathan) – Director Room Division who was in touch with me before our arrival and made all possible things to make me and my family comfortable. I strongly vouch for the hotel and would request community to try them on your next visit.…

Amari Watergate Bangkok this is my first time. Everything is good and the breakfast is so good variety choices. The location very convenient a lot of shopping centres. Thanks Pim for supporting……………. ❤️
Great check-in experience with Poyly and Nwan. Excellent rooms and great service overall. Great location too, near the Central Shopping mall - can't beat that :). I appreciated the gym and the breakfast buffet must be one of the best in town!
Great greeting and fast checkin. All reception have good service. Hotels and room so clean. Full amenities in room and nice city view. You can see city view and traffic in Bangkok. Internet easy to connect and fast speed. You can enjoy with movie time.
We lived in Amari Waregate Bangkok in club rooms with lounge 1712 and 1714. The sheet is with a hole and washed, the rooms are small and there is little storage space. The rooms have very little drinking water, towels and everything that should be provided in a five-star hotel. The room is noisy from the sounds of cars passing by. There is a very poor selection of snacks in the lounge. Every time we ordered drinks, they were brought for a long time. Lounge moved from the high floor to the ninth floor. Therefore, all the attractiveness of the lounge has disappeared, because there is no longer a beautiful view of Bangkok. Now you can only see Bangkok traffic jams and a floor with a swimming pool. The hotel tries to compensate for all the shortcomings with the high quality of the staff, who really tries to please every guest. Next time I'll choose something else. Amari Bangkok no longer matches my quality of living. By the way, waiting for ice in my room for more than 30 minutes is already like a three-star hotel. breakfast is on the fourth floor, on Saturday we stood in line for about 20 minutes to enter for breakfast.…
The Amari is in general still a very nice hotel famous for it location and food.Although pricey it was always worth paying extra for his hotel. However since the legalisation of mariuana in thailand, hotels of this statue think its ok to allow guests to smoke weed around the pool area or just outside the front doors in the smoking area. For younger crowds that smoke weed great for you but we are families with children and unfortunately that is not acceptable,We complained and were told sorry but its legal now in thailand. Whilst in phuket we stayed at the hyatt and that was not tolereated and guests where warned at check in that they would be evicted if caught smoking weed on hotel grounds. If Amari is to maintain its status maybe follow the rule of european cities and open weed coffee shops where you can smoke without bothering others. Apart from that still a decent hotel…
Stayed there last week for 5 nights , the location is central but the entrance is very bad , you need to climb stairs to reach the main door which is not safe at all for elderly and children , it’s not very easy for the taxi to reach the hotel , the street is extremely busy, the girl who did the check in was very friendly , the room decoration is very dark and ugly . I checked out on Saturday 18/3/2023 at around 8 am room ( 3130) , the girl who did the checking out was very unfriendly , no smile , didn’t ask me how was my stay , didn’t explain anything , like she didn’t want to work , then the bell boy who brought our bags from the room , I told him our taxi is waiting , he replied I need 10 mins just wait ( in very ugly aggressive way ) , guess what , he brought our bags after 25 mins , clearly it was intentional, he talking to our taxi driver in Thai and laughing it was obvious he was talking about me ( he was young chubby man ) , he need to be fired , no way I can stay again at this hotel as their staff don’t respect the guests, there are plenty of good hotels in Bangkok . I don’t recommended anyone to stay in this hotel , you will definitely regret it…
