It had been a while since Marriott opened a new hotel in Bangkok. Madi Paidi Hotel (Autograph) opened early September and I found that it’s a great addition and good complement to the range of hotels which already exist in Marriott’s portfolio.
While Marriott has lots of nice hotels in Bangkok, all of them are quite big properties, even St.Regis has over 200 rooms. In complete contrast, Madi Paidi only has 56 rooms+suites. Even though the hotel is completely new and it was our first visit, staff seemed to know who we were from day 1 and offered quite personal service and addressing us by name every time we came in or out of the hotel. Most new hotels have service issues but considering it’s been opened for less than one month, I was very impressed; in terms of service they will not be far off from being at the Luxury Collection level especially with a large ratio of staff to guests.
Instead of being a boring copy-cat hotel, Madi Paidi could easily be a Design Hotel. The common areas were very nice and I loved the theme coming off the elevator to go to the rooms, the painting on the side going to the rooms is for Madi (translates more or less into “come” well) and the painting on the side going back to the elevator is for Paidi (translates to “go” well).
As Marriott Ambassador Elite tier guests, we were upgraded to an Emerald Suite and the design in the suite was equally interesting as in the common areas of the hotel. The hotel is only one street off of busy Thonglor so it’s close to the action, but it’s located in a small residential street which is more quiet so it can have the best of both worlds. It’s also one of the few places in Bangkok with some greenery so it’s a plus, however one of the few downsides is that it made the room a bit dark during day light hours with trees in front of our room on the low-rise building.
Breakfast was mostly a la carte with very nice dishes as can be seen from pictures, also a positive contrast with various hotels in the city which have huge buffets which can be of lower quality. This is definitely not the case at Madi Paidi. And last but not least, they have free flow Prosecco which to my knowledge only Le Meridien also has at this point in time, after Athenee (Luxury Collection) cut it a few years ago and at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit it’s only one glass per guest.
Overall at first I was a bit suspicious considering the price tag which approaches the Luxury Collection hotels but after staying at Madi Paidi I was sold, this hotel is a good one and offers something refreshing that will please different customers who might not have found what they were looking for in the past with the existing hotels within Marriott’s portfolio in Bangkok.

This is brand new autograph collection in Bangkok. I have decide to stay two nights on 8 nights Bangkok trip
I love to come back again! The each room has very modern and unique As brand new hotels, I was very impressed their service and the elite member benefit they have provided
Love the espresso at downstairs cafe (great espresso machine !) and bathtub bath salt gave me deep sleep surprisingly room has Toto washlet from Japan at their bathroom, the first one I have seen among all Marriott properties I have stay in Bangkok
Attentive service and very unique detailed designed of property I love to go back.
An another plus, only a minutes walking distance from major street and train station, but the property located at quiet neighborhood (do not bother traffic noise )

Stayed here for three nights in November on a solo trip; this was my second stay at Madi Paidi as I came here previously with my sister in October.
Was given a room on the 6th floor overlooking the main road (room 601), which seemed quiet at first except for the annoying traffic noise in the evening and early morning, and also heard this weird banging noise from the next door occupant, who was probably slamming the closet noise. Needless to say, it was a sleepless first night for me.
Called the front desk the next morning and they mentioned they would move me to a new room in the evening. True enough, they moved me to a room slightly behind the noisy main road, but also near a road that gets a bit of traffic noises (not as loud as the main road). The topaz room (607) was pretty nice as it didn’t have a column in the middle of the room, although the soundproofing could be improved as I could hear the above occupants moving around and noises from the corridor.
Service wise, I would have to say that the personnel manning the bar upstairs was friendly and attentive (sorry, forgot his name) and the front desk staff were great - really appreciated the room change and upgrade.
Things to improve:
During my last visit, the housekeeping left a cute fortune cookie each time they provided the turndown service but not this time; however, I noticed that they at least provided more water bottles and tea bags. Oh and when I checked out, was expecting the bill to be emailed but haven’t seen it yet after three weeks.
I didn’t opt for the breakfast buffet and ordered the french toast as an à la carte meal but they served me a tiny portion, which turned out to be the exact portion that you would get from the buffet…really not worth the price as you could get something more substantial outside the hotel.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in during my trips to Bangkok. This hotel provides premium luxury and due to its size you’ll have a more one-on-one experience with the hotel and its staff. This hotel is located in a quiet part of the Sukhumvit strip which fits the overall theme. I’ve staying in several Marriott hotels in Bangkok and so far this is my favorite.

Madi Paidi is the NEW hotel opened under the Marriott portfolio and is the first Autograph collection hotel in all of Thailand!
It opened its doors in September 2023 and is considered a boutique hotel, offering 56 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool.
The hotel is only 3 to 5 minutes walk from the nearest BTS station, Thong Lor and just 1 street/block over from the main Thong Lor street (Soi 55) where you have lots of entertainment options, bars and restaurants.
The hotel has 9 floors and the staff are extremely friendly! I observed them making an effort to recognising various guests as they enter or leave the hotel calling them by name! This is a nice personal touch.
I booked a standard room with a king bed. However, I was lucky to be upgraded to their Emerald Suite! For reference, I am a member of the Marriott Loyalty programme called Marriott Bonvoy and I hold Ambassador status. Check out the vid on You Tube at Love Flying and Hotels. Apart from the room upgrade, elite members can also receive more benefits.
As an Ambassador member, I received complimentary breakfast, 2 pieces of laundry per night, a welcome drink and a further welcome amenity in the room!
I also received complimentary drinks and a snack daily. If the snack is not suitable for you, speak to the staff and explain your dietary requirements. They provided me with snacks which were suitable for vegetarians.
These benefits are also available to elite members holding a Titanium or Platinum status.
The Suite was very comfortable and spacious. The Suite was 56 SQMs or 603 SQ Ft.
There was a bath tub, walk-in shower with rain shower, bathroom amenities, bathrobes, slippers and more.
When I arrived for breakfast, I received the warmest welcome – you have to see it! Tong, the host, is very sweet and always checked on me if I was okay as did Mook, Non, Oil and Speck.
During the afternoon, I enjoyed the complimentary drinks and enjoyed chatting with the staff, in particular, Non, Sunshine, Lecky, Noon, Kai Mook, Kig, Mook, Art and Time.
I spent 2 nights and then had a booking with another hotel for 2 nights. I enjoyed my stay so much that, after completing the 2 nights at the other hotel, I returned here for a further 5 nights!
I also met many knew staff members on my return and they all spent time talking with me either in the lobby area or at the bar! I felt very humbled and really enjoyed this experience.
On leaving, several staff members came outside, waving me off, which is what Paidi in the name Madi Paidi effectively resembles!
I recommend you try the hotel as I am sure you will also receive excellent service and enjoy your stay. This is certainly one of the better hotels!

Excellent modern small hotel. Staffs from Front desk, concierge, housekeeping and restaurant were very friendly, respectful and anticipated our needs. Kevin, the concierge along with his colleagues were amazingly helpful. Giving useful local tips on restaurants, shopping etc.
The chef cooked special orders for our breakfast and Art the bell hop was always happy to see us.

Arrangements on the phone before arrival were an example of successful communication. The freshness of the service and smiles from the perky staff was notable, as this is newly opened. For Bonvoy members, the lack of a lounge is made up for by competent recommendations at breakfast (and plenty of decent, unlimited choices) and other perks. There is unquestionably a strong stylish component throughout, although I used points and cannot comment on the value if paying. I can say that for us, however, it was clearly superior to similar properties, and we loved the green in the Emerald Suite.

The hotel is only 280 meters from BTS Thong Lor station. Booked 5 nights here. As a Bonvoy Titanium member there are lot of benefits. Free breakfast, 6-8pm we get to choose 3 alcoholic beverages & 3 snacks. We also get free laundry/pressing 2 items daily. There are many choices for breakfast too. I ordered different food from the menu everyday. Thanks Ms Wilaiporn Gruber & team for making this memorable stay. I’ll definitely recommend to my friends. I’ve stayed in Park Hyatt, Waldorf, St Regis Bangkok. This hotel is 33% cheaper but offers similar level of service. Hopefully they can maintain the condition of the room/facility. :-)

New , modern design room and surrounding with calm local communities . But the restaurant many staff has a good service such as Ms Pang and Mr. Non were good recommendations and friendly . Also breakfast room has an interesting menu like a la cart buffet made us feel fresh cooking with plate by plate and lovely dishes.
