We have stayed here a few times! This being the 3rd time! It’s convenient for the airport and has a free shuttle service every hour. It’ has also get a little cafe/ restaurant down stairs if you are hungry. This time we was pleasantly surprised to find our room had been refurbished which meant it was an even better stay then expected. Defo would stay again it’s a basic hotel but very convenient, you get what you pay for. You can here people coming and going and inconsiderate people who don’t care if you’re sleeping as they talk and shout outside in the corridor and slam doors! Have a little respect for others!

We needed an overnight stay somewhere near the airport in Bangkok and The Phoenix was absolutely perfect for this. It's about a 15 minute drive away so super quick to get to and from the hotel. They do offer an airport shuttle service for 150 thb per room but make sure to book it 24hrs in advance before you arrive. We got a taxi there which wasn't too expensive either but used the shuttle in the morning which was great.
Room was comfortable and clean so we had a great night sleep ahead of our early flight. It is also pretty cheap. Would recommend!

I was check in on 17/04/2022 and check out on 19/04/2022. Locations of the hotel very convenient , near 7/11 store and local restaurants. The hotel also provides shuttle bus to the airport cost only 150 baht cheaper than outsourcing taxi. Most of all the thing I am very appreciative about the hotel is their staffs helpful and service mind. I check out from hotel and realized that I left mobile charger in the room, I called to hotel reception ask them to send it back to me(live in Chiang Rai) I willing to pay delivery cost but the hotel take care of it and free of charge. Thank you

TripAdv page mentions “free airport shuttle”. Hotel mentionned: “room not including free airport shuttle. Cost is B150 one way” No pickup, neither reply from airport, following advance email, with arrival flight details. Total cost of airport taxi (B170) + drop-off shuttle (B150) had almost doubled the original cost of room of B480

Very good hotel for a one night stay in conjunction with flying in and out of BKK.
I stayed one night and the hotel is cheap, clean and gets the job done.
The hotel offers shuttle service for 150 Baht and the shuttle showed up on time to pick me up from the airport.
The room itself is simple and most importantly the AC worked great.
The bed is hard as a rock but it was fine for me.
Overall, I’d stay here again when flying in/out of BKK.

Needed a simple stay for a night before our flight onto Kolkata. Phoenix was a simple & lovely stay option with free breakfast located very close to BKK aiport. It has a 24 hors check-in. From the subway station we walked about 10 mins to reach there. Friendly staff. And to top it off, a free shuttle till the airport. Highly recommended.

This used to be a great place by the airport with a free shuttle, and a hostel vibe but with private rooms. I've stayed here in the past, and recently booked two nights. The room's aircon was musty and bothered my allergies, as well as not having any soap or clean towels, and the bed arrangement was not honored. When inquiring about a new room (In Thai) was basically told there was nothing they could do that night but try to find a second room for the second night. I stayed at a different hotel at my expense, and I came back the second day and it was the same exact problem but different room. No clean towels, no hand soap.. I think there are many other options (look directly across the street, not going to name names). I was never refunded and told because I booked online, there was nothing they could do. Pity.

We stayed here on our very last night in Bangkok and our favorite thing about the hotel was the free shuttle to the airport. Our room was really nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful but there is no elevator so you have to hike up some stairs to get to your room. The staff is very helpful with that though so no need to worry.

The best part is the drop off and on from the airport. Very noisy, can't sleep all night people getting in and out on the stairs carrying their luggages as there is no elevator. Cleaners early morning chatting loudly in the corridor. Room is dusty. Breakfast is very basic.

We were in BKK for 24 hours on June 24th on our way to Phuket, we had a nice stay at the Phoenix.
We looked for the hotel rep at the arrivals hall (2nd floor) gate 4. The rep called the hotel for the shuttle, which came to pick us up within 10 minutes. The drive to the hotel took less than 10 minutes.
We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids, they gave us a suite in the building adjacent to the lobby. The room was modern in design and very clean.
There as a king size bed on one side of the room, a partition with a large TV, and 2 beds on the other side. Separate bath and shower, clean bathroom. Tea and coffee maker in the room. No elevator, but someone ran our bags up to the room before we knew it.
We took a taxi into town for a little bit of sightseeing, in the middle of the day it took about 1/2 hour to get to town on the toll highway.
Facilities around the hotel:
If you walk out of the lane the hotel is in, turn right, you will reach a small river in about 2 minutes. Cross the river on the small bridge and you are at a small temple.
If you walk out of the hotel and turn left, you will reach the main Lat Krabang road in about 2 minutes. There is a 7-11 here at the main road, along with a couple of small local restaurants and stalls.
We had a very nice meal at a restaurant further down the road. When you get to the 7-11 at the main road, turn left. Walk along the main road for about 5 minutes, you get to a couple of restaurants beside a lake on the same side of the road. We ate at one of these restaurants, they had an extensive menu in English. Very nice view from the tables. We liked everything that we ordered, most dishes were around 120 to 150 baht. The owner came out to give our kids some fish food they could throw into the lake and watch the fish come up to get it. The kids loved it!
The hotel shuttle came to pick us up promptly at 6am the next day. We didn't get to try the breakfast at the hotel.
There is some noise from planes flying overhead, but with the A/C on it didn't bother us and we were able to sleep with no problem.
Overall, I think the Phoenix is a very good value option for a short term stay near BKK airport. We would certainly stay here again.

The hotel front desk is open 24x7. So, yes - it is possible to check-in at 4am (we checked in at around 1am). If they are checking out around noon, then they are good. We checked out around 1pm and still paid just 1 night's price. You don't need to pre-book the free shuttle. After collecting luggages, as they reach the arrive hall (just before coming out of the terminal through exit gate), they will see printed-signs (in English) of many hotels including the Phoenix Hotel. There they have to just ask for the representative of the hotel. It's really easy. They can expect a waiting of anything between 1-40 minutes. Regarding the room preference, please email the hotel before making the booking to see whether they can accommodate your request.
