The Standard Bangkok exceeded all expectations and more! What a beautiful hotel situated in the heart of the Silom/ Sathorn area and located within the magnificent King Power Mahanakorn building. BTS station across the road making it very convenient. Check in was a breeze. Very fast and professional. We got vouchers to go up to the top of the buildIng, 78 floors up. The view, needless to say., was breathtaking. Breakfast was awesome! Ala carte breakfast is the way to go I say. Not a fan of buffets. Lots of healthy options available and both the western and Thai items were delicious and beautifully plated and presented. Fresh coconut water, avocado on sourdough, blue swimmer crab omelette as well as eggs done any style served with croquettes and the most tasty bacon just to name a few. The room was very spacious. Large bathroom. Oh so comfortable bed. But ooooh what excited us most was the high-tech Japanese washlet. It was all of the best quality including the TV and we could cast Netflix and YouTube when we wanted. Every single member of staff we encountered spoke good English and always greeted us with smiles and were very attentive at all times. The uniforms were so different and hip. Love, love, love the bathrobes! We dined at Mott 32 and I would highly recommend it. Food was good and the cocktails divine. Shout out to Khun Did and his team. Special mentions go out to Kathy at the front desk. She checked me in, took care of my luggage as the room wasn't ready, made some suggestions on where to go and what to do in the meantime and then arranged for my luggage to be sent up to the room. The Bell Team, Boom, Matthew and Henry. Whilst waiting for my Grab, we were chatting and I mentioned how much I loved a particular Thai snack. Imagine my surprise when I came back to my room to find a note from them and a bag of those snacks. Now that is service of a whole new level. What a wonderful experience it has been. The staff is very welcoming everywhere, rooms are very clean and wide, superb shower with high water flow, super electric toilet :) Breakfast service is fast and good quality, one of the best GYMs that I have went to in a hotel recently. A fun and funky hotel well located near a sky train station. Clean rooms. Great service. Fabulous restaurant OJO in the same building. A little problem with the drainage smell in the street level elevators. Snd pls leave an extra 🚽 toilet rolls in the room. We run out. 😆

I was really happy to stay at the most hip hotel in Bangkok, and it was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast and fitness facilities were perfect!! The pool is lovely, although it is a bit small. The location is incredibly convenient, with numerous restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience an exquisite interior design.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Its really expensive in my opinion, but you get what you pay for. The service is wonderful. Everyone genuinely smiles and takes their job seriously. The gym is AMAZING as well and there is a bar beside the pool. You also get free single access to the rooftop of the building right beside, 76th floor i believe, but only between 7pm to 10pm. Here are the minor complaints I have. The hot water was so weird. I simply could not get it to be very hot. The max I got was just mildly warm. The next day i got guest services to check and it worked at the showerhead. But the bath tub was still not releasing the really hot water. The dials were seriously confusing. But i managed to fill the bath tub with the showerhead instead. Another small complaint is the ceiling around the rain shower. Its peeling. I mean its understood a toilet is warm and wet and painted walls/ceilings are never gonna work. Hopefully they might tile it up or use a more permanent material so it wouldnt peel and look ugly in such a classy hotel. Overall, great stay for sure.…

Once in a while, a hotel opens up that brings out the travel-loving in you, like The Standard Bangkok, and this is my second time here. I was politely welcomed at the front desk upon my arrival. Most of all the staff were wonderful, particularly Khun Ken, the lovely receptionist who checked me in and out on my first stay, I literally appreciated with his services, and he did it again! I met him when I walked pass the front desk in the midnight, he remembered me! At a very unsociable hour, he greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. I found myself impressed by his professionalism and pleasantness. Your hotel is indebted to him for his exceptional service level. Impossible to recommend this hotel strongly enough, and I will definitely be back.

Highly recommend at least trying what all the hotel has to offer especially regarding to the foods and drinks at the numerous restaurants/bars within a one stop for all. For a true Standard branded experience I highly recommend the “Night Bar Crawl”. This was truly a fun adventure with friends from the 2nd floor to the 76th floor. Starting from arrival you pick up your passport and departure ticket from the 4th floor, “The Parlor”. The drink of choice my friend and I had is pictured, The craftsmen (left) and 6:00pm (right). Upon completion of our first crawl at the Parlor we then ventured to the second floor, Mott 32 Bar where the overall atmosphere was pleasing and a breath of fresh air. The drinks were truly exceptional with exotic flavors and presentations. Moving to the 3rd location was the 5th floor American dinner, “Double Standard”. If you are a true beer lover then this is your spot. However a bit underwhelming due to my personal dislike of IPA beers. As my friend and I saved the 76th floor for last. Let me tell you, this place will not disappoint. Ojo Terrace was an experience that will truly never be forgotten. The Mexican snack provided was truly authentic and had me wanting more. Also the drinks taste and presentations were by far my favorite from the entirety of the crawl. Highly recommend an unforgettable experience that will not bring any regrets.…

Needless to say, the hotel gave me a really good experience and happiness. And the best thing was the kindness to the staff. In a difficult situation, the T1 staff helped me to solve the embarrassing and difficult situation. Thanks to you, I was able to keep only good memories in Thailand. From the first arrival, t1 responded kindly to us and remembered our faces, but If I visit Bangkok again, I will definitely stay here. I know once again how important service is to good employees!!!
