I stayed here with my family in October 2022 for three days. This is fairly new hotel with all the qualities of a five-star property. The staff is quite cordial and helpful. The location is quite central and close to a BTS station. The room was fairly large and the bed was large enough for three of us. For me the highlight of the hotel was the breakfast. It starts early and has a great variety of choices. I used to eat so much that I could manage with a very light lunch. The only problem that I had was with the room lighting which was not adequate particularly for ladies dressing. They should have some bright lights either in front of the mirror or in the bathroom.

Hotel's Favourite
As the title says it all, i love this hotel and also had my reservations for it. 1.) Although i am not like a super tiered member, but i had been a loyal IHG fan for years since 10years ago when i was in university, and will always try to put up at Holiday Inn or Intercontinental chains. But surprisingly, coming across at least 4 of your staff, they dont really acknowldge the support coming from a avid patron like me. Only the lady checking in acknowledge in, and say thanks. 2.) There are over 20 flrs in this hotel, over the years i have always requested for a high floor and i get it even when patron occupancy is full. However i was given level 11 which shows me carpark, rooftop showing water tanks of other buildings. 11F on a 20 over floor property is low mid floor not a high floor, i was met with a rather uninterested reply telling me, " we are very full" but the two chinese tourists beside me, who checked in same time which i eventually bump in the lift a couple of times all had higher floors than me, one was 16f and the other was in the 20s. This baffles me, i highly doubt they are even ardent supporters of IHG. 3.) When i say this, more or less you will know who am I. The concierge and front desk lost my grab food order, no doubt the grab rider did not call me. But the concierge did not bother about my food delivery either, i came down to pick it and lady at front desk says they didnt see it. And moments later she told me she knew who took it. This may not be st regis or hyatt, but it is proper decency to check who sends in food from outside, imagine there is so many people at the main lobby working. Although i must admit, the same lady at front desk very sincerely apologised and return me the money, also offering to order my meal again on top of that ( which i refused politely as it was pretty late). This helps alot for the fact that, on the same day i lost my wallet on grab and only the thai police manage to get the guy to come back and return me, and grab has still yet to respond to my 546baht order gone missing, so thank you front desk lady, i appreciate and accept your apology, although it is not really fair for you all, so try to be more cafeful 4.) Going back to room preference, i was assigned the 1st room once you exit the lift !! Never in my life will i accept it, please check my room preference and old records. It is very unacceptable, being a light sleeper. I get lots of door slams, big bangs and knocks very early as the cleaners are at work. And they tend to clean early, so no good sleep 5.) At the morning breakfast, staff were also unattentive. I said my room number 3x and they still listed me at 0841 , this could be very dangerous if i am dishonest. They chase me to sign the bill only then did i realise it was billed a 0841 not my room number, i could have just say yes thats my room number, and again this could be an issue. Also i took a bottle of that wonderful health detox juice, and after i walked back to wait for the lady change the bill to my room number, another staff came out and told me i cannot take that bottle out. Gave me a coffee cup with a hole, 1/4 filled with the juice and told me take this instead. Hello !! This is double standard, i saw a couple of chinese tourists took coconuts and bottles of that juice out when i enter the restaurant. This annoys me a lot Now the pros - security is very good, attentive to your luggages etc just not sure how they anyhow gave my grab food to another hotel occupant without even checking - i like that cleaners stock up amenities kit without us calling and begging. Even big chains like JW Marriott, westin i have to waste time to call and ask for shavers, dental kit, water. We get the standard 6 bottles of water daily. And dental kit stock up on its own, oh they even gave authentic colgate tooth paste unlike the other big chains some random chinese brand - that infinity pool is amazing, very well maintained and cater well to crowds with breathtaking views. Its also clean and tidy - they serve some complimentary thai laotian gin daily 5 -6pm regardless of your tier as long you are the guest, very very nice gesture - breakfast food although only done one day, was very very impressive. Menu was extensive, well balanced of western , thai etc - room was very good sized, super huge. Cozy sitting area segregated from bed with clever mechanisms to swivel tv between sit area and bed. Clean, tidy and very strong ac. They even gave my room a sharp air purifier, hope every room also had one, great thoughts as it gives you a clean and healthy air in your room upon a long day out on the streets Overall as i said its love-hate rship. I really like it the location is near, maybe i was just very unlucky for this trip..losing my wallet scare, the grab food saga, and the hotel setting so many double standards which i encounter. And oh i must also bring up, it took 3 staffs to finalise a late checkout for me. 1st guy told me no chance very fulll get out by 12pm. 2nd lady said the same but very reluctantly offered 1230nn on a day before i checkout, only for me to say 1pm pls. Then at night another male staff just gave me 2pm again. Perhaps this high occupancy suddenly caught your staff a little offguard, thats why they were struggling to cope. I go to bangkok a couple of times a yr, and hopefully my next visit which i already intent to book this property will see tremendous improvement. For this i give you 4 stars for this review , the above is just for the management to take notice, spending so much time reviewing and revealing who i am is not a criticism. The introduction was before we even entered the hotel by a guest leaving saying we had made the best decision by choosing this hotel, She was right. From the moment we entered we where greeted by one of the best customer service employee i have ever met: Naphat. Naphat made me feel welcome and taken care off. Each time we left or came back he was always there to greet us with a smile and a bow. When my girlfriend left het purse at the bar the morning after he was waiting for us at breakfast to make sure we got it back asap. He never hesitated to take our bags or ask us if everything was to our liking. The room was perfect just as the swimming pool, rooftop bar, roomservice and the cleaningcrew. There are not many Vignette Collection hotels in the world (about a dozen), and it's nice to have a new one in Bangkok. Our stay was quite positive for the most part, room size being the only mild negative but everything else met or exceeded our expectations. As IHG Diamond we were upgraded to a 1-Bdr Suite. The room was of very good quality with nice hardwood floors. Despite being on a low floor (3rd) we were not disturbed by street traffic noise because the hotel is located a bit far off from the street. The suite was comfortable and had the convenience of having a washing machine and microwave which are useful for longer stays. The size was 40 sqm which is not that much and only marginally more than the standard rooms which are 33 sqm. In my humble opinion a suite of 40 sqm is a bit tight in fact many hotels' suites in Bangkok are at least 60 sqm so it would be my only complaint. Service at breakfast was very good and there were many different seating arrangements including some in separate rooms for more privacy. The buffet stood out from other hotels in the city and had many creative dishes like Chinese Olive fried rice (instead of the regular fried rice found elsewhere), they had mango sticky rice for breakfast (which not many hotels have), and many dishes with upscale proteins like squid and shrimps rather than only cheap vegetarian or chicken options, not to mention an Arabic station. Overall I found this hotel to be all around very good. I noticed it gets many high ratings by travelers on TA and in my opinion it's warranted.…

Attended a 3-days conference in BKK. Early morning flight landed. Plan to store luggages first before heading to conference expo and came back in the evening to check-in. Front Desk Receptionist (lady), however, offered me a room to check-in so that i could press iron my business shirt and showered in the roam before went over to conference expo in a refresh body. I was pleasetly appreciated her empathy and situational offer (without me asking, and considering there was a ready room available in that morning). This was my 2nd time staying in this Sindhorn Midtown hotel. This time opted for breakfast inclusive package. Breakfast came with a good range, delicously prepared and recommended. Again, love the smiles and repsonsiveness from the crews at Bangkok'78 cafe on 2nd Floor. Love the perfect location, easy access to BTS stations, walking distance to shopping malls and has a number of high end steakhouse / Spanish restaurants within 10 mins walking distnace. Not to miss out, Diora spa centre is just next door with good skills and relaxing ambience (need to book at least a day in advance tough on high demand). Looktan was extremely accommodating on our Check-in. I’ll post another review after our stay week long stay. However, so far it’s amazing. Pool is next level amazing! The staff are very hospitable also. This place is phenomenal value! So far = Excellence.

Stayed on the last week of August and I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. It’s a new hotel—the first IHG Vignette Collection in Southeast Asia. Surprised, because our room came with a washing machine! It also has a small kitchen in case you want to cook. But why bother cooking when there’s Bangkok 78, the hotel’s main restaurant, that offers authentic and scrumptious Thai food? Indeed, Bangkok 78 offers great food. We had lunch there during our stay and all our dishes were great. The stand out for me was the Northern Thai coconut curry noodles with soft shell crab. It was simply divine! Check-in was efficient. The staff asked me what time our flight was and when we said it’s around 5:00 p.m. she adjusted our checkout to 2:00 p.m. That kind of proactive service is what elevates the hotel. Breakfast at Bangkok 78 was adequate, although it can be improved in terms of choices. I, for one, find it okay. Just more meat options maybe. Gym and pool provides excellent views of the Bangkok skyline. Bath amenities are luxurios from Karl Lagerfield collection. Overall, an excellent stay in a hotel that’s designed like a Thai condo to make you feel like you’re living like a local while in the city.…
