What a great base for exploring Bangkok. It's a modern hotel with 396 rooms arranged on 36 floors (with plenty of accommodation offering river views). There's an infinity pool (on the 6th floor) and three restaurants. There is also a free river shuttle and a 7/11 store on site. In addition there are plenty of restaurants nearby for you to explore. Details: 1. Lifts & rooms are only accessible via a room card 2. Rooms are large (we were upgraded to a Grand Suit River View which meant that we enjoyed loads of space - but didn't gain access to 'Club facilities'). We had a kitchenette, dressing area, large bathroom and bedroom. However there is a limited range of equipment (cutlery etc.) and one particular irritation is that one wardrobe is in the living room. There is also lashings of hot water (but it does take a long time to come through). 3. The main restaurant is great for breakfast with lots of choice from a wide variety of cuisines (European, Chinese, Thai). TOP TIP: There is often a sea food buffet offering in the restaurant, (which wasn't cheap), in the evening, but if you sit in the area near the bar you can order from the reasonably priced a la carte menu instead (although beware that they automatically add 10% service charge and then still ask for a tip). 4. Swimming Pool - This is outdoor, the are plenty of loungers and readily available towels 5. We were offered access to mini bar free of charge for the first night. 6. Facilities offered included bottled water daily, safe, hair dryer, rechargeable torch & tea/coffee making facilities. 7. RIVER SHUTTLE - This is free and there is a fairly frequent schedule. It's main destination is Sathorn Pier (from which you can catch other free ferries, tourist stop ferries or BTS skytrain). It also calls at Iconsiam shopping centre periodically. The boat doesn't wait around though. All in all we had a pretty comfortable stay here and would use the hotel again. We were and a river view (there are lots of rooms with river views).…

The Chatrium Riverside is located about half a mile downstream from the Satorn ferry stop. It is a 36 floor tower. Floors 17 to 36 are lovely suites that give you access to the lounge on the 36th floor. They serve snacks and soft drinks all day and afternoon tea and then cocktails and canapes early evening. We were only there for 4 days so did not get to know any of the staff. Although everyone who served us was charming and helpful. The breakfast choice was fantastic, with delicious food from around the world. If you are looking for a peaceful location, then this hotel is definitely not for you. The river party boats go by from early evening to about 10.30 at night. They are very loud. There are the sounds of the tugs pulling the huge barges at all times of day and the long tail boats whizzing by. Having said that, Bangkok is not somewhere you go for a peaceful time and it was brilliant to just watch the world go by from our 26th floor balcony. Our stay at Chatrium was just fantastic. Food was great, amenities were superb, and service was excellent. The free boat service to the Sathorn Pier was quite nice- it was easier to reach the BTS that way. They even surprised me with a cake on my birthday. A truly amazing stay. Will not hesitate to book the hotel again.

Last 3 days in a quiet beautiful hotel. The hotel is by the river. River boats is very convenient to get by. Bts is 1 stop away by boat. The staff is very friendly. The room is very nice and clean. Definitely be back

Great views , great attentive staff, thank you Nalobol and colleagues. Enjoyable atmosphere and a great place to catch up in the evenings. The views are almost 180 degrees and it's fantastic to park yourself and watch the sunset over the river.

Excellent club service would highly recommend. Drink service is really good continually offering refills and drinks. The staff at the club lounge are very friendly and efficient and the staff at reception very friendly also. Beautiful buffet breakfast with a large variety of choices.

This was our second 2 week stay at the Chatrium, we chose it because of the Riverside location and the feeling of space when you look out onto the river, compared to other Bangkok locations. The staff are kind and helpful, we had a couple of issues, water in our room after particularly heavy rain, and a mix up with the shuttle boat timetable, however the response to both was excellent. Sometimes things do happen but it’s how they are addressed that matters. Breakfast choice is good, and always well stocked. Although breakfast was sometimes busy the other areas of the hotel never felt so. If there were 20 people poolside that was the busiest we seen it during both stays. The pool area is spacious, and a nice way to relax after being out and about. This was ideal for us as we like to be out and about, but coming back to a hotel that provides the opportunity to relax as well made it a good combination. You can also watch the sunset from the pool area. Shuttle boat is a great way to get around, you can hop up to Saphan Taskin and catch the BST, or go across to Iconsiam. You can also hop on a Klong boat from the pier. It’s about a 15 min walk from the hotel up the road to the BST if you fancy a walk. If you opt for a river view at night you get a lovely view of the city. The room was spacious with a generous balcony and kitchenette. Always plenty of hot water and the room was spotlessly clean. I think the only downside is there is no bar area as such. You can get a drink and sit by the river, or in the lobby but it lacks the atmosphere. …

Executive Lounge….. Great experience, fantastic staff, & awesome view. My wife & I stayed in this fantastic hotel March off 2023… it’s located on the river & we had a full view from our room. The pool is large with plenty off lounge space. Breakfast is perfect with lots to chose from.
