Getting there
Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The hotel faces Thonglo street and is in a very convenient location with many restaurants, bars, Thai massage shops, etc. within walking distance. The floors are tiled and clean, the view is good, and the bathtub is comfortable. Breakfast is available even early in the morning as it opens at 5:45 AM, and there is a wide variety of items and it was delicious, but there are many guests, so it can get quite crowded depending on the time of day. Also, it is along the main road, so there is quite a lot of noise and there are many guests, so it may not be suitable for those who want a quiet stay. However, I think it is a great deal considering that you can stay for around 3,500 baht including breakfast.

Luxurious yet reasonably priced. They surprised us for our anniversary which we truly appreciate. Our requests were also all fulfilled. From the doorman to the housekeeping staff, everyone was incredibly accommodating. The food at the restaurant was delectable. Everything went extremely well. Highly recommended.

Excellent location with three large massage chains and a variety of restaurants near the hotel. The hotel provides a shuttle to the BTS station which while not cheap is the best way to avoid the Bangkok traffic
The conciege staff are professional. The hotel is nicely decorated with daily coffee and cold drinks from 7 am to 7 pm
The rooms are large with comfortable beds
Definitely I would make many return visits in the future

This hotel is such a let down. It’s located in a prime location and while the facilities are adequate the service absolutely destroys the experience. The room service people are extremely rude. Once I had food delivered from outside quicker than it took them to get spare plates and cutlery to the room. Literally took them 45 mins to deliver just an extra plate and folk to the room. I’m guessing it was because they were seriously understaffed. But does that excuse them for being rude, I don’t think so. Not once was the room clean enough. When I first checked in the table had food bits still on it so had to change the room. The second room had a weird smell. Even after telling them several times to make sure the room is properly cleaned it was never that. Definitely will not be staying here again and this review is basically just an advisory for other travellers so they don’t have to suffer what we did. A good alternative I would recommend is the Lancaster. Their facilities are much better, service is the best I’ve come across all my travels, and there was never a request which wasn’t completed with haste and complete politeness. And for half the price of this horrible hotel.

Room Tip:Cleanliness issue and understaffed hotel

My recent stay at Grand Centre Point 55 left much to be desired. Despite clearly indicating our preference for interconnected rooms during the booking process, we were informed upon arrival that an additional fee was required for rooms of the same category.
Furthermore, the hotel's inflexibility became apparent as they insisted on this extra charge, refusing to accommodate our request for interconnected rooms without it. This lack of flexibility negatively impacted our overall experience.
In addition, the hotel's claim of being kid-friendly seemed misleading. Despite multiple requests, the staff at Grand Centre Point 55 remained uncooperative in providing suitable arrangements for our children, showing a reluctance to make our family stay enjoyable.
In summary, my experience at Grand Centre Point 55 was disappointing due to inflexible policies, uncooperative attitudes, and a failure to uphold advertised amenities. I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism for the hotel to enhance customer service and meet the expectations of families seeking a comfortable and accommodating stay.

The hotel is in a great locations with lots of bars are restaurants around. Our suite had a great view and large floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was great with a Japanese toilet. Bedroom was spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast was very generous with lots of choice and room service was very reasonably priced too. It was my birthday and we wanted to have a drink but the hotel doesn't have a bar which I found very odd as it's 5*. They sent us out to find one. There is also free coffee and refreshments in the lobby. The reception area looks very fancy and grand. The best thing was the Japanese Onsen which we had to pay extra for but was so worth it. Very relaxing experience.

Don't make this your choice or you will be disappointed. Someone gave this hotel 5 stars but it really is not. The lobby is grand and spacious though. The rooms seem to be kinda lacking in quality too. When i walked into my room i was greeted by a mirror with multiple mosquitos squashed on it. The bathroom held such surprises as used soap and toothpaste tubes from a previous occupant. The furniture is made of pleather and there isn't enough of it. When getting ready to eat a roomservice dinner with my wife, I realized that there was only one chair and no proper table for eating. We ate on the bed. The breakfast bufffet had lots of cold food that was supposed to be hot and not once in the 3 nights that i stayed did I see a mango or banana offered. Mangos are seemingly Thailands national fruit. Nothing was really bad here but i was constatnly chuckling at all the little things that were either not provided or mishandled.

My wife and I stayed here twice in the last month. This is a great hotel in the Thonglor area of Bangkok. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel has a free shuttle bus which runs every 20 minutes to and from the nearest BTS station which gives you access to all the best shopping and tourist hot spots in Bangkok. The staff are outstanding, many able to speak English. We were able to check in early on one stay and check out late on the other due to flight times. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of food choices which caters for guests from all cultures. We did not order room service or have dinner there so I can’t comment on those options. We had a standard room which was very comfortable and clean. My wife loved the bathroom. We definitely plan to return here and happily recommend it to everyone.

This is a great hotel, the amenities, the room the breakfast, the infinity swimming pool, spa, shuttle to the metro station and most of all the people… every employee treat you so nice and respectful that we came back again after spending 5 nights our first week. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore Bangkok, prices are good not the cheapest, but compared to the USA hotels you get a 5 star hotel with the price of 3 stars. If we come back to Bangkok we will stay here again. Thanks everyone who made our stay in Bangkok special 🙏

Stayed here for one night for the test and go programme, was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the room. The testing was done at the hotel which is great as you don’t have to spend time at a drive through testing, I paid for express testing but had to call a few times to get it expedited. Not sure if this was because of the hotel or the hospital but I got out after 5 hours so still good. The rooms are a bit noisy as there’s tiles in the rooms and hallways with a gap under the entrance door so I could hear the neighbour burping when they left their in room dining remaining outside. Front desk was professional and friendly, checkin and checkout was fast and professional but still warm. One bonus is the location of the hotel when you get out, it might be one of the most happening places in the Thonglor area and I’ve discovered a new gem.
