We were so lucky to find Tranquility Lodge and get a room there. Set back from the road in a lovely large garden it's an excellent place to relax after a days activity. With double aspect our room was light and airy. Hot water was always available in the good size bathroom (shower over the bath) and the room was spacious and clean. Run by a lovely friendly lady and her family.

buona posizione, stanze confortevoli e pulite, ottimo rapporto qualitù prezzo, staff cordiale e simpatico, molto consigliato per un rilassante soggiorno a Pokhara. Presso l'hotel è possibile anche prenotare biglietti aerei ed escursioni per trekking o altro. Consigliatissimo

Rita, die "Frau des Hauses", setzt erfolgreich die Arbeit Ihres Mannes fort, der tragischer Weise vor zwei Jahren nach einem Unfall verstarb. Es mag sicher noblere und besser ausgestattete Unterkünfte in Pokhara geben, aber Tranquility hat einige unschlagbare Pfunde aufzuweisen. Die Betreuung der Gäste ist sehr persönlich, hilfsbereit und ferundlich. Bei jeglichen Fragen oder Problemen wird Unterestützung angeboten. Es gibt, neben dem üblichen Laundryservice, auch die Möglichkeit, den Waschbereich des Hauses im hinteren Gartenbereich privat zu nutzen (Waschschüsseln, Leinen, Klammern, etc.), wenn man es vorzieht, seine Wäsche selbst zu reinigen. Die Lage, mitten im Zentrum von Lakeside und dennoch erholsam ruhig (weil in einer schmalen Seitenstraße gelegen) ist ein nahezu unschlagbarer Pluspunkt . Der absolute "Bringer" ist definitiv der üppig blühende subtropische Garten, in dem es sich herrlich nach einer anstrengenden Trekingtour relaxen lässt !…

The lodge is located on a quiet side street, about 3 minutes walk from the main road. So, it is still close enough to "where the action is". My brother and I took the first room overlooking a large, well-tended garden. The room was clean with an en suite bath (tub and hot-cold water), ceiling fan, and large windows allowing for good ventilation. Three other rooms are available at the back, if you don't mind climbing a flight of stairs. No meals are served on the premises but food can easily be had in the numerous restaurants lining the main street. The front desk (in a small building just beside the gate), is usually manned by the owner's brother, Abiral, a nice, young man who can take you on a tour of the city, should you prefer viewing Pokhara from a more personal, local perspective.…
