The Glacier Hotel was an exceptionally pleasant place for us to stay after our 5 day trek. While the trek may have lowered our standards or swayed our judgment, it is also a statement of the quality of the hotel, its amenities and the level...More
The food was great here. We had the wild boar, the Chicken Chili, some Mo Mos and a couple of beers. Great! Food was spicy, but not overly so. The price for all of this was 3586 nepalese rupees, about 35 bucks.

I truly love the stone-wall touch on both outside and inside of the hotel! Having a little balcony (i got a room facing the lake) and 2 more windows make the room airy and bright! Even the hotel is just next to the main road,...More

The way I went was to take the bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and then a taxi from the bus station to the hotel. The hotel has a pick-up service from either the airport or the bus station that you can arrange for ahead of time.
It is also possible to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, or you could hire a private car. The bus is the cheapest way, but it takes 8-10 hours depending on road conditions. Try to get a seat on the right side for the best views. You can get a bus ticket at any of the travel agents, and they will also show you where the bus station is located.
Hope this helps,
