A very special shout-out, to Sharaf, Simo and Alli, who made the trip extra special. They were incredibly welcoming, were always there to help us and happy to chat. Without them, the experience wouldn’t of been the same. Wishing you all the best in the future, thank you again. 🙏
Our room was stunning - as was the whole riad. The amenities were quite updated (beautiful shower, king sized bed, fireplace, etc) and the bed was super comfortable. The room also had a nice terrace. There was also a terrace upstairs with a small plunge pool that overlooks the city.
The location was SO great, as well - steps from the Secret Garden, great restaurants, etc. In addition, we also had a traditional hammam experience and massage and would highly recommend those services, too.
I'd also like to give a special thank you to the night manager who was so warm and kind. He was one of the first people we interacted with in Morocco and really set the tone. He provided amazing recommendations and had such a pleasant demeanor.
All in all, one of the best riads we stayed at and would highly recommend to all!
Something didn't convince us right from the start, with doubts regarding the change of sheets and towels on the beds between the various treatments, which were too humid and even had hair on them. Although the riad looked very nice, the spa environment was crudely furnished. The background music was overwhelmed by the noises coming from the courtyard of the riad, compromising an already unconvincing atmosphere. The girls, although seemingly kind, seemed more improvised than professional. Massage is a subtle art that requires a certain connection, and both my partner and I perceived a total absence of technique but above all of passion. To make the experience worse, one of the girls had a severe cold, blowing her nose and sneezing throughout the massage, leaving the used clinex careless on the table. Considering the small environment and direct contact with customers, it was not hygienic and respectful. If a person is sick, they should not work especially if in such direct contact with the customer. We paid around 115 euros for 2, given as a gift.
Personally I don't recommend it
For the massage Fatima gave a brilliant toning massage, her movements were simply perfection. Naomi too for the toning massage had incredible movement, pressure and even 75mins didn’t feel like enough. We could have stayed there all day being taken care of in this way like Queens.
Thank you, we will be back.
My massage was perfect pressure and hammam delightful. I feel like a new person! I’d highly recommend a stay, massage, hammam experience.
Whilst the grounds are.lovely and the staff pleasant, the treatments and quality with which they are delivered lacks a degree of finesse.
This view was echoed by several in our group and therefore it leaves me wondering if management have really offered the staff the training they need to deliver for their clients. If not then it is hard to fault people who are doing their best despite not being trained by management.
I wish the staff good luck, I'm sure that with proper training they'll excel.
"Be sure to book their spa & massage service early or days in advance. The service is so great that it's heavily demanded by all customers."Read full review
"Our "Nomade" executive ground floor room had a large in-floor tub. It was cool, even in July, quiet, and had great hot water."Read full review
