The short guy with protruding teeth at the bar is very unpleasant. The rest of the bar staff are lovely. The service in the Moroccan restaurant was awful we waited ages to be offered a drink, starters took an hour to arrive. The table after ours arrived after us and had received the entire meal before we had been offered a drink. One of the guys was very rude he had thin hair. The food in the main restaurant is okay if they have anything nice that they cook in front of you it often runs out, if you don’t get there early. The rest of the holiday was great. There were a few issues with our room these were sorted quickly. The animation in the night time was a little boring. That being said the animation staff are around morning noon and night. They should get people in to do shows at night like most other hotels do. All in all a good holiday. Rooms and hotel were clean. The bell boys are very welcoming.

Hotel is not 4 star! My room was very good as was the manicured pool area but the rest, particularly the restaurant, was 3 star at best. Food was of poor quality with very limited meat or fish options. Not enjoyable eating there.Main bar area also of poor quality with poor service

After reading many reviews about how bad the hotel is, they’re unfair. I travelled as a solo parent with 2 young children aged 4 & 5, generally I was quite happy with an easy break. Queues on arrival at check in was a little annoying, but a couple of groups arrived just before us that took a long time to process. Once’s checked in & in the room, yes a little tired but very clean and what we needed. Clean was the most important point for me. We went half board, breakfast was a little mundane, but food nonetheless - who needs endless food at breakfast. Very satisfied with dinner, something different every night and a few of the same dishes, but my girls tried new things every night and we enjoyed our meals. The staff were great, don’t forget that Arabic is the first language, followed by French, then English. No problems with language and all staff were respectful along with other guests from France, UK, Germany, Belgium and Holland. We were happy, having travelled extensively through the US, Asia and Europe - This Hotel hits the spot with good local food, great staff and good amenities. We used the mini club, restaurant and pools plus water park and it was better than expected. People who want their countries food to be consumed in another country could do with just staying in the local tourist resort eating bangers and chips. A great little trip. Well done all at this hotel.

Some of the reveiws for this hotel were very unfair. We found it clean and tidy. Staff were very polite, the main issue with staff was some of thier english wasn't very good, but with patience on both sides, we managed to get there. Was always welcomed in the hotel with a smile and a warm greeting. As a base to go and explore Morocco it was brilliant. So thankyou to all the staff , i was really nervous, as i haven't travelled much, but after a couple of days, i loved it, and would definitely return, as i still have things to see in this lovely country.

We visited in February 2024. We were a little worried when we read some of the reviews but we were more than happy. The only criticism we had was that we weren't aware that the hotel wasn't going to be fully open. We chose Les Dunes D'or because it had 4 restaurants, however, two weren't open. The criticism of the food being samey was really unfair. There was plenty of choice and not every day was the same but always delicious. Unless you eat everything on offer, every day I guess it would become boring. Also, they speak French in Morocco so why would we be disappointed that they spoke French in the hotel? The staff were more than able to understand and speak English too. We found all the staff to be helpful and polite. Les Dunes D'or isn't as big or flashy as the neighbouring Tui Riu hotels but that is part of it's charm. The rooms are clean and the grounds are beautifully kept..... The Tui rep visits the hotel right next door each day so it covered all our needs. I have no worries recommending this hotel as long as you expect a little sister to the big girls around it.

We walked into this hotel in our running kit as the one we were staying in was so awful! The lovely lady at reception made every effort to make us feel welcome and we were shown a garden view room (newly refurbished) and a sea view room which we opted for. They could not have been more accommodating (we stopped by the Rui too and they could not have been more dismissive nor unhelpful!!) We checked in and the room was what we wanted, bathrooms a bit tired but clean. Beds very comfy and tea/coffee facilities included. We loved the food and the variety from all over particularly local cuisine. The only downside (like all all inclusive hotels) was the quality of alcoholic beverages! The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, the spa/hammam was closed which we were advised of on arrival but we made full use of the well equipped gym, again nothing mega modern but very functional. Location wise, perfect for the beach and Souk, lovely walks and other good restaurants close by. The music around the pool was loud but there is a second pool to retreat to or beach loungers if you want a quieter day! Remember this is morocco, not Monaco, but we loved every minute of our stay and will return, go with Africa in your head and heart and you will have a great time. We are english and speak some french and so no problem with language!

On arrival to this hotel which I booked with TUI, main entrance was from a car park,I was the only person who got off the coach,so that started me thinking , even TUI couldn't be bothered to have a rep there, on entering the hotel reception very basic looking no wow factor, miserable staff , in fact most of the staff were useless, Food same every day, nothing exciting , toaster never worked properly,No Aircon working in the rooms ,I was told as it's still winter not turning on with temperature of 29Degrees, I reported my shower drain blocked nothing was done for 3 days, 2nd day after dinner my key card wouldn't open my door looked as if the batteries were dead, it took reception ages to contact the engineer, went back to the room with him he had trouble opening door with metal key, when it was opened I said it's the batteries, engineer told me we can't do room locks it's an outside company that looks after doors and safes,I noticed plug sockets, light switches hanging off,, To be honest I don't even know why I booked this hotel,

Worse experience ever in a hotel.. food is horrible, there was no wifi in pur bedrooms as it supposed to be, probably the only hotel in morocco that serves juice from a box and pretend it’s fresh juice.. most of the facilities wich We choosed the hotel for, were out of order.. hygiejne was terrible.. when were pounted the problems for the reception, they response was that we were unfortunate.. it’s just discosting, taking adventage of clients just for the money, and not deliver a proper service.. What a same!!!
