This is not a hotel, it's more like a hostel: • They don’t have breakfast • Frond desk only open from 9am-9pm • Room looked like a barracks/convent • AC barely worked and is a “wet” air. Carpet is wet and dirty! • Has microwave and stove top, but no pots/pans/silverware/utensils • Someone was napping in the hallway when I arrived • Your back door is NOT locked 24/7. You don’t need a key to access it. This probably explains the bullet point above • My deadbolt didn’t bolt • TV/Dish has 2 channels You have to take your own trash out at the end of your stay or you get charged!! To be very unprofessional, this place feels "rapey". And I'm just saying that this room is worse than my college dorm or first apartment...

Arrived back at my room at 12;30 am and my key doesn't work. They do not answer the phone. After multiple phone calls and leaving a message I am left two choices sleep in my truck or stay at another hotel. The next morning the office people would not refund my night stay. I quote "what do you want me to say" and "why would I give you your money back" Never mind the side door was broke and my stool was running for 2 weeks and they never cleaned the room.

Im with Lori on those charges. I stayed for a few months and it seemed every week or no week when I payed I would get shorted a day. Of the few months I was there 3 washers and 2 dryers never got fixed, and workers from all over use the parking lot for their trash. They have a doggie station but no one uses it, do don't step in grass at night. When I first got there they were all nice but the day I was to ck out the mngr calls up and says"you owe money, bla bla bla. I told her the I pd up until that morn (3days from Fri to Mon) she said no you owe for last night. Knowing I'm in a situation, which no worries to her, just couldn't have been nice about it. As for Covid, I don't know exactly what steps because there is one girl who cleans the entry way , mops elevator ect but over the weekend and holidays nothing is wiped. I took my own wipes to the laundry cause the washer half soap, hairs on. Its ok for the workers who travel cause it gets very dirty and greasy but if you want nice, no. The internet is very slow, hot wateris good and then bed is comfy

I come to Des Moines every other month for my job and stayed here a couple of times, the first time went fine but the second stay I had noticed several small charges on my card totaling $27 dollars. I called them to find out why and no one seemed to know why so I told them to take it off and they refused and said there had to be a reason and hung up on me. Luckily I had read the reviews on here about the scam they are running and recorded the call and my bank took the charges off. My advice to you is if you are going to stay here use a prepaid debit card from Walmart or something then after you check in they can't charge the card because there is no more money on it. Or lock your card and you can do that on a regular debit card or a prepaid one so when they go to charge you for fake reasons they can't access it. I have other co-workers that have stayed here too and they charged their cards for bogus stuff also. This place needs to be reported to the Attorney General and the BB. What they don't charge for the room they fraudulently charge to your card.

stayed there for almost 3 weeks for work.. no one ever cleaned the room or changed the bedding had to ask for clean towels.. talked to Kyle before checking out and he said the room was good to go no problems.. then someone above him decides to say the lines were soiled and charged my credit card $90.00 I tried to dispute with them and Sabrina and a couple other girls hung up on me was told they made their decision and could not be overturned.. called corporate office and explained everything got an apology for the way I was treated but told nothing they can do.. STAY AWAY!!

Thank you for your feedback. We always clean rooms every other week and on the registration card that you signed it did state you are responsible for damaged linen. Looks like there was some miscommunication, so thank you for bringing that to my attention. I will address those issues so it does not happen again. Happy Holidays

We have been at this facility for over a month and no definite date of departure. We originally thought we would close on our house by July 8th, well thanks to the bank, that date did not appear. Even though they were full up, Sabrina did what she could to make sure we had a roof over our heads and even worked her magic so we could remain in our room. The rooms are comfortable, kept clean and maintained well. Believe me, as a retired traveling RN, I have stayed at some doozie of places and this one rates on the top of my list. They treat myself, my husband and even my pets with respect and I cannot say enough good things about the staff or facility. For the time being I am happy to call this place home and refer to the staff as family. They have gone over and above for us and if were travelling vs staying in Iowa, I definitely would return here for our stay.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for more than a month. After 3 weeks staying here, for the 4th week they charged us More than they had before. When I went to the front desk to ask about it, they told us that we had originally only been charged for one person stay, even though they had seen both of us, and taken photocopies of our ID’s and our reservation was for two people. Then after the 4th week when we were leaving we were told that we still owed 35 dollars and change because we had been charged 7 days tax free and we’re supposed to only get 6 days tax free and one day taxed. The tax from one day is only a few dollars not 35 dollars! I told them I won’t be paying that but they still charged my card without my permission. I will be calling their manager and their corporate office if necessary because this is stupid. So happy to be gone and never coming back here.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. As I can tell you are having a issue with your bill and I will be looking into that. I am aware you and your wife at least enjoyed your stay at the hotel but I do understand that a billing issue can sour the stay. Thanks again for your feedback and we will be happy to welcome you back in the future.

This is an extended stay hotel with no frills, no soap or shampoo are provided, I had to request soap. You are expected to take out your trash at the end of your stay, otherwise you are charged $50. House keeping is once a week. A staff member, Sabrina, made unauthorized charges on my debit card in the amount of $90 for towels that she decided were permanently stained before even attempting to wash the towels. The towels came out white after the wash with hardly any discernable stains and Sabrina still refused to refund the amount and threatened to add more charges if I continued to question what she deemed was "policy". Her rude behavior is the worst customer service I have ever received at any hotel. Staff should not have the ability to charge your card just because they feel like it, be aware of this policy, or better yet stay at a different location, so you don't get charged for normal wear and tear on towels, or heaven forbid, if you forget to take a piece of trash out.

The staff is above and beyond, the rooms are clean and property is well kept. Location is a few minutes from every retail establishment you could want or need but out the way enough so your not looking at Walmart or Wendy's. In fact, my room looks across a few fields. Very reasonably priced as well.

My son and I TRIED to stay in this hotel for 10 days. We moved rooms twice due to noise and dirty AC units. We both ended up with infections due to mold. We complained to Lori the manager, who promptly told me there were no refunds for any reason. You're better off sleeping in a tent than staying here.
