Like another reviewer here, I ended up at this hotel because I arrived in Guatemala City late at night, and was taken there by a taxi driver. I don't think it's as bad a the other reviews here said it was. The room was clean, it had hot water, working WiFi, and a big TV screen that got a lot of channels. The place was noisy from outside traffic, though, and the clerk offered to move me to a room upstairs, that would have been quieter. They would also get some more points from me of they supplied actual bath towels instead of hand towels.

Room Tip: Avoid the first floor, especially room 101, which is next to the street.

Arrived solo in Guatemala City very late after 10 pm and my hostel refused to take me in with my booking, therefore my taxi driver took me to (according to him) recommendable, economic hotel (...) Since I was super desperate to put my head down and exhausted after entire day travelling on bus - decided to take whatever it looks like. To start with, reception man was horrendous. He didn't even feel like talking to me and made me feel I was intruding his territory. Then I ended up paying faaaaaaar more then promised by local taxi driver...Everything looked super dark and creepy. The room I got reminded of a prison cell with TV. The bathroom and showers outside were completely gross - stuffed with hair, blocked toilet etc so never used it. The sound of people fighting at the corridor lasted half a night. I did not sleep at all terrified that someone might enter my room and attack - no lock, no key, nothing at all. Total pathology. Happily, nothing bad has happened. ...the place wasn't safe to stay at all so I left early in the morning around 5-6 am. Probably still safer then staying on the street at Guatemala City at night, but not recommended unless left stranded on the street at night!

terrible hotel! There were hair balls in the bathroom & the sheets were dirty. The floors were completely disgusting. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. Very unpleasant, the bathroom is completely disgusting.
