A quaint and lovely boutique hotel that feels like home. Located in the center of town just across the street from the National Conservatory of Music, it's the perfect, comfy and secure place to stay. Close to many historical places of interest, the Mercado Central and lots of restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice colonial house with internal patio. You will be warmly received by the owners. They have a nice dog, Peca, but keep her separate from guests. Room on ground or first floor. Terrace on roof with good with onto neighboring volcanoes. Most room do not have a window giving to the outside but only onto the patio. They are therefore quite and musty. En-suite small bathrooms have no window. Bed linen old but clean. Floor not very clean (dust, dead insects, very alive spider...). Bathroom rather dirty. The owner can advise you on where to eat, what to see, etc....
This place is clean, safe and the staff is very kind. You can enjoy an authentic Guatemalan breakfast. If you looking for a centric staying in Guatemala city this is the place. The prices are also reasonable and the rooms are also good size. You can stay in the upper level which is nice.
