We stayed in the kingfish room and if you are looking for that perfect room straight on the beach this is it. Amazing to walk straight from the room to the beautiful beach, white sand, palm trees, hammocks what more could you ask. Pool is...More
Can't say enough about this slice of heaven. We stayed in the newly renovated Flip Flop 4 whose sliding doors opened up directly on the narrow beach a mere 25 feet from the Caribbean. A quiet romantic time for us, interspersed with some great activities....More
I had the hibiscus room, the view of the ocean was just breath taking and the room is great for 1-2 people. There’s a hammock just outside the door that was perfect in the evening or whenever I needed to get out of the sun....More

We booked an Airbnb in Placencia town not knowing 1) Sargassum seaweed would be everywhere in town where they don’t clean it up rendering the beach unusable and smelly and 2) town is quirky and wonderful but not super family friendly.

The hotel does not provide transportation from the airports in Belize City. You can take a puddle jumper from Belize City directly to the airport in Placencia and they will be able to arrange for a pick up from there which is only about 10 minutes from the hotel. The drive from Belize City to Placencia is about 3 hours. I would not recommend doing this drive when it's dark. The roads in Belize are not well lit at night and you will come across about 10-12 short one lane bridges that sneak up on you at night . During the day it is a pleasant drive that is very scenic.
