This hotel is older but clean and comfortable. Didn't eat in the restaurant as there were so many other busy ones to choose from. Staff were very outgoing and friendly and ready to please us. Great location on the beach and central to everything.

We are so happy we booked here. The hotel has a key west, Hemmingway-esque design perfectly located in the heart of downtown. About 1-1/2 blocks from the Ferry Dock, you can walk to it on the sidewalk or the beach. The hotel has an open air bar and restaurant on the beach.

Really the accomodation was really about a 3 star but the staff, food, location, price and cleanliness bring it up to a 4. We rented an upper floor room with a single and a double. The view was great, beds were comfortable, lots of towels for the bath, & beach. The main

Good Day Glen, Thank you for taking the time to reach out. To answer your question posted; It is only seasonal. It has been something occurring for the past few years throughout Central America. I can confirm that it has been subsiding and the coastlines are starting to return to its normality.

It is pretty quiet... located a bit down from the main part of town however you can still hear music from two local bars... I’ve stayed here several times and will be there again in a week and the noise has never bothered me. The bar closed at 10 but there are great places near by too that are open later. Paddle boarding isn’t available there but you can find some a mile down toward where the slide is or at the secret beach. It’s a great place to stay their restaurant and bar and staff are all amazing and you feel like your at home there.

If you are arriving at the International airport you will need to take a taxi to the boat terminal(takes approximately 30 minutes, and cost $25.00US per person one way) From Belize boat terminal to San Pedro the boat ride takes approximately 1 hour 1/2. The cost is $30.00US per person. You do not need to do reservation. For more information you can contact San Pedro Belize Express or Ocean Ferry Belize. The Flight from Belize International Airport takes approximately 20 minutes and it cost $160.00US per person, round trip. The flight needs to be reserved you can provide your international flight schedule and we can make reservations for you. You pay the flight at their desk upon checking in at the airport

Seems here was a combination of 2 and 3 prong (grounded) outlets. Don't know that I would trust the ground to be connected. If it's just a matter of being able to plug in you should bring an adaptor. You can also buy an inexpensive ground check tool. The "safe" was a simple wooden box with a small key/latch. As they say it kept the honest people out. The office offers a safer storage option for small valuables.

We could hear music but it never bothered us. If you are sensitive to noise I guess you could wear ear plugs. We were bothered more by the unloading of wood for rebuilding the dock. It started at 7 a.m. on two different mornings.
