We didn't stay here unfortunately, but we did visit and ate at their restaurant. What an experience. Our waiter was the best - funny, attentive, knowledgeable. Food was expensive but very good. Walking into the resort was like walking into the jungle. So cool. It's definitely worth going to. The restaurant is called Pineapples. Kind of strange, because none of the restaurants we ate at in Belize ever served any pineapple.

Absolutely amazing stay. I don’t know where to start. Ramons made everything easy. From pick up at the airport, booking snorkeling day off, to the smoothie bar, hammocks and food on the beach. Beautiful grounds, great rooms (recommend seaside) and the friendliest staff. Will definitely be back. Excellent location too- can do diving and walk to town from there.

We stayed here a few weeks ago for our honeymoon in a standard jungle king. It was perfect for us and the hut was so cute. We liked sitting on our patio and relaxing, it really did feel like a jungle. The A/C worked really well and we liked having a mini fridge, microwave and wifi so we could watch movies on our Ipad at night. We stayed 7 nights and did the breakfast package, which was delicious. So many amazing breakfast choices to pick from, the food was 10/10. The staff always went above and beyond. The grounds are beautiful plus the beach area. We liked this hotel the most out of any that we saw when we were there. The rooms are a true Belize vibe, they aren't modern like an all inclusive, but they were beautiful and clean in their own charming way! The location was perfect, close to every thing. The staff worked hard to ensure the beach was clean every day, my husband and I think the beach area/ pier was the nicest on the island. You could walk on the diving peer, swim, and see fish/ sting rays just from looking down into the clear water! The pool was a bit small, but it was perfect and actually a bit bigger then the photos make it seem. They recently added a heater so the water felt like a bath and was amazing! I went in it many times and even in the evening. It truly felt like we were in a movie when we walked through the hotel paths to get to our room, pool, etc. Small grounds so very easy to walk. We can't wait to return someday. I miss it already!!! I am so happy I booked here and our honeymoon was everything we had dreamed of.

Exceptional hotel with walking access to restaurants in San Pedro, but also a beautiful beach to enjoy! Grounds: The grounds were beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. Access to the hotels pier was a plus too. You could watch stingrays and fish or take a boat to explore. Room: The room was huge, clean and had all the amenities… air conditioning, small kitchenette, desk and all the bathroom supplies. Food: We enjoyed both of the breakfast and dinner menu. Staff was outstanding!

My family and I stayed at Ramon's Village for a dive trip in February 2024. After 3 days, my husband contracted covid. He tested in the evening and I was scrambling on how I could get other accommodations so my husband could isolate. Ramon's didn't have any rooms available for us and it was too late to start looking elsewhere. Only option we had was to sleep on the porch of our hotel room until the next day. They were very helpful during our time there. They provided for us a blowup mattress to use that night, made recommendations of where we could stay, and for 3 trips to the hospital either provided a golf cart or a driver for the golf cart to take me and my husband back and forth to the hospital - free of charge (I ended up testing positive 2 days later) Jose at the front desk was so helpful in providing us with all the above mentioned. The trip that we so looked forward to became such a mess but for the first 3 days before we got sick, all the wait staff, housekeeping, dive shop staff, and front desk were great and so sympathetic to our situation after getting covid. Everyone was very professional in how they treated us and didn't make us feel like we weren't welcome. As for the place itself, its location is great. The hotel is near many restaurants/activities/stores. We only got to dive once but the dive operation was top notch. Professional, courteous, and properly staffed offering many trips that accommodate any level diver. We stayed at Steve and Becky's in a little bungalow and was pleased with the room. It was clean and it provided a mini fridge/freezer, coffee maker, and microwave. Friends of ours stayed in the rooms on the beach and they were clean, too, with excellent views. The food was good and the wait staff were great at making you feel welcome and relaxed. Overall, I would recommend Ramon's Village to anyone planning a trip to San Pedro, Belize.

Where to begin? I have so many positive things to say - the staff was amazing. EVERYONE, from the front desk clerks, to the restaurant staff, to the smoothie bartenders, to the housekeeping staff, grounds workers, security... literally every single person was helpful, polite, attentive and really just seemed to enjoy their jobs. The resort itself is so special, the tropical grounds, the "Belizean" bungalows, the pristine beach and gorgeous pool - this is not your "Marriott Resort" with 4,000 people trying to save beach chairs at 6:00 a.m. This is a truly magical experience and I cannot recommend it highly enough. My ONLY note would be that the mattress in our room was incredibly soft and I had difficulty sleeping on it.

My friends and family recently visited Ramon's Village for a dive vacation Feb 10th thru the 17th. Ramon's is a very nice, relaxing, quiet resort which is exactly what we were looking for. The food at their restaurant, Pineapples is very good and their wait staff were wonderful, especially Jack. Seeing Jack every morning or in the evening made everyone in my party smile. He's a great asset to Ramon's so you should do whatever you have to, to keep him! Also, Nate "Nate The Great" was our bartender at the smoothy/coffee bar. Nate was a great guy and we really enjoyed seeing him each day. Next, Jose at the front desk was also wonderful. He patiently answered all of my questions and was a huge help to me on multiple occasions. Every time I called the front desk for something, it was delivered to my room in less than 10 minutes. Finally, the dive staff and dive operation were top notch. The fleet of dive boats was very impressive and they were all large and roomy. My group pretty much went on Al's Honey for the entire week. The captain of the boat was quiet but stayed focused on his job as captain, which is exactly what I want in a captain. Our dive guides were Andy and Kris. We only had Andy for the first 2 days, but he was great. The rest of the week we had Kris and I can't say great enough things about Kris. My son and Kris essentially became friends and Kris made all of us feel like family. He is patient and clearly well versed in his profession. He is an absolute asset to Ramon's. Additionally, Ethan was on most, if not, all of our trips as the 1st Mate. Ethan was great and took care of my wife Linda during snorkeling sessions like she was his mother. His attention, kindness and patience was very much appreciated by my wife, as she is not a diver and not that comfortable in the water. However, Ethan made her feel safe and more and more confident out in the water snorkeling, each day. Finally, we scheduled a night diver and night snorkel on the Thursday before we left. Kris was great as usual during our night dive, and my wife and our friend's daughter had Izzy as their guide on the snorkel. Izzy was fantastic as well and made both of them feel safe and confident during their first night snorkel. I hope I got everyone. If I've missed anyone, it was not intentional. We miss all of you already and hope we can get back to see you all again, soon!

Ramon's was a great choice for a stay in Ambergris Caye! Close to the San Pedro Express water taxi (after ferrying from flight into Belize City) and also to head into town (San Pedro). We walked several times into town for eating, drinking, exploring, etc...very doable; however, be wary of LOTs of golf carts zooming around! You can rent a golf cart right at Ramon's if you'd rather not walk....a day trip to Secret Beach is fun! (and does take about 45 min one way). There is a TV in the bar area (none in room) and available drinks are wine/beer, but supermarkets very near (couple minute walk) if you decide you'd like something else for the room. There are many tasty restaurants in town (also Pineapples right at Ramon's)...great seafood everywhere! We stayed in a jungle room (for the Belizean vibe), but still right on the beach! A nice destination for a family trip and would definitely return! We loved the "Be Kind" signs around town....and the Belizean people are extremely friendly! Thanks for a wonderful trip!

What a thoroughly enjoyable vacation!!! How could it not be when you stay in one of the most well run resorts in UNBELIZEABLE San Pedro at Ramon's Village Resort on beautiful Ambergris Caye. My wife and I had Belize on our bucket list and by choosing to stay in a beachfront cabana literally on the beach at Ramon's was one of the best travel decisions we have ever made. We will be back for certain. We want to give a shout out to just some of your great staff specifically from Pineapples- Jack, Jomar, and Nigel (you guys were great made us feel right at home) Diveshop Abdy-I'll snorkel with you anytime anyplace, and another shout out to Yola-thanks for putting up with me and all my questions, and lastly Front Desk shout out to Auer and big shout out to my buddy Jose. You guys were so great listening to all my stories just talking about life and happiness. I had such a good time thanks to all of you and my wife says the same. God Bless you all and I can't wait to return and spend some quality time with all of you. You are all the best!! Barry & Marcie Katz (Medford, Oregon)
