As I lay here in bed I get more and more frustrated. This room I’m in on the 1st floor reaks of a mildew smell. There is zero I can do at this hour but suck it up and be grateful I’m only here one evening. The sad thing is I use to stay at this hotel often when I worked for Ryder in the past and I had great experiences. As someone else mentioned Hilton Brands have a standard. This is a Hilton Garden Inn I left a Hampton Inn this past week in TN that was far more impressive then this out dated smelly location. I will say the girl at the front desk was kind when I arrived (even though I did all check in online) and the location is convenient. Other then that this hotel is a big fail! This smell is HORRIBLE it’s a shame I’m so exhausted or I’d just gather my belongings and head home to South Georgia!

Staff is very good but you can’t just put lipstick on a PIG and change its appearance. Furniture in room looked like reject of Salvation Army, looks like someone skated across table tops. Noisy refrigerator. Bathroom in dire need of work. Carpets in Hall were stained. Bed was comfortable to sleep in and location is a gem. UPGRADE not up to Hilton standard.

The hotel was nice, but dated. The customer service provided by the night clerk was excellent. I needed to extend my checkout due to weather issues, which was not a problem. It was not clear that there is an additional charge for breakfast. When checking in, I was told the times that breakfast was available, but they did not say that it was not complimentary. There were issues with the bathroom door opening and closing due to swelling of the door. The main door looked like it had been damaged by someone forcing their way into the room. The wallpaper, bedding, carpeting, and furniture were dated, like the 1980's. The room was clean and had enough towels. Access in and out of the hotel was super easy.

I travel a lot and was not particularly impressed. 1. My initial room reeked of cigarettes on a non-smoking floor and the hotel advertises as being non-smoking. They moved me and gave me breakfast vouchers which was nice. 2. Prepare to have drunken people yelling outside your window until upwards of 12:30 am (on a weeknight). This was every night, some nights it ended by 11 pm, one night by 10, but if you try to get to bed early and are near that area, prepare to hear it. The “fan” feature of the AC doesn’t blow unless heat or cold air is actively on. 3. The gym was at a 76 degree temp and smelled of rubber. It was a whole thing to ask to change the temp and I backtracked and decided to skip it. 4. Housekeeping tapped lightly on my door and opened it on check out day at 8 am, didn’t say “housekeeping” or anything. I should have put the “do not disturb” sign, so that’s my fault and 8 am is not the greatest but not the worst. When they continued cleaning next door, they knew someone was in my room sleeping and the banging was outrageously loud. Disappointed there. Safe to say, I won’t be back. I shared this feedback and the front person offered me points or breakfast. I didn’t feel empathized with - the response was “sorry for the inconvenience” instead of a genuine “that’s not a great experience, I’m sorry.” I was polite and respectful.

Everyone says this hotel is clean but I noticed it was dirty. Definitely needs a good vacuuming in the hallways and the elevator. Ice machine was broken on 3rd floor, inconvenienant! Breakfast was ok, pancake machine not working and the juice dispenser spit out tasteless juice. Please fix your machines because people pay to stay here.

I made a reservation at this Hilton, and was discriminated against, targeted, unfairly treated, and criminally trespassed from the property for requesting a clean room. Upon arrival the room assigned to me had a dirty tub, there were hairs, candle wax and dirt inside the tub/ The desk clerk STEPH, black male, didn't like that I requested a clean room and rejected his inappropriate advances, so he retaliated by calling the police, lied and had me removed from the property and banned for one year. This was my first ever at this hotel. This appears to be a pattern of Hilton when dealing with "people of color". I called Hilton customer service, spoke with the GM Terry Bryant, who failed to resolve the matter, or apologize. Be aware consumers when staying at any Hilton Hotel.

My room 507 when I walked in first off there was a strong sour sponge odor. I figured I could remedy it since it was giving me problems with the mildew/mold smell. Bought Lysol and bleach and cleaned the filters and the metal fins that I could expose. Took away half of the odor. I kept working on it over 3 days thinking it would get better. Not so much. I may could have contacted the staff for another room but I did not have the will power to move all of my things into what may have not been a better room. *I really would have like a complimentary basic breakfast! Instead I got charged almost $10 for a continental (fruit, yogurt, juice). **Trying Fairfield Inn next time.

I was in town visiting a friend who just had a newborn baby a few days prior. My hotel stay was very short but pleasant. Specifically mentioning Stephen at the front desk. It started from the early check in, all the last minute requests on my part, letting my friend borrow his own personal phone charger and he was just such a kind person and really went out of his way to make me and my friends time there so good! Thank you to everyone :)

Driving up to the hotel you can see the exterior had mold all over the right-hand side of the building. Not thinking too much of it because there are so many trees around. But the mold problem continued as you stepped foot into the lobby. It smelled so strong. I honestly thought at first it was because the indoor pool was nearby. Nope, the hallways felt sticky. The room was clean-adjacent. First glance, it’s clean. But if you walked to the window, you could see the mold surrounding the window. It was in the shower, too. The bed linens made me itch, so I immediately thought dust mites. Even though I saw 3 different members of a cleaning crew during my short visit. I went back to the lobby to checkout the fitness center. The smell was awful and you could see the dark rusty stains in the pool room. This hotel needs to be closed and gutted! I only stayed one hour, checked out and went to a different hotel chain nearby. This hotel doesn’t represent a Hilton. The guy at the front desk was friendly. It’s the only reason I gave 2 stars.
