This hotel was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond. They had great attitudes and made sure I was taken care of! Also, it is in a great location! Walking distance to SO many stores and restaurants.
Hotel was authorizing and reversing amounts throughout my stay. Desk staff apparently did not know what they were doing. Informed general manager and he informed me it is their right as I provided the card. Hotel also had some vandalism on site so decided to charge all the guest rooms a $50 charge listed as vandalism charge. Police were contacted and hotel had to reverse all the false charges they did.
Clean but needs updating. If you are there on business be sure to get a room with a desk and chair. The Continental breakfast was good. A lot of noisy children running down the hall, that can happen anywhere.
So we had to find a place in short notice, 2 adults, 2 kids 1 dog. We called the hotel and got connected rooms on the 6th floor, agreed to the dog fee and made reservations. Now, 1 day before the stay, they call us and advise that dogs aren't allowed on the 6th floor, and no other floors have connected rooms, oh and since we have two kids my wife and I have to stay in separate rooms since the kids can't stay together. Absolutely garbage service, stay elsewhere
I stayed here four nights and was very appreciative of how comfortable the king-size bed was and how friendly and helpful the staff was throughout my visit. They provide a complimentary cold and hot breakfast buffet every morning so getting to eat before going into the office was great. It's situated in a lovely wooded area adjacent to a strip mall with several very nice restaurants and shops. The only downsides to the stay were that the hotel's internet connection was out the first two nights of our stay and some guests on our floor were very noisy late into the night. Given we were there on business, having no internet was more than just a nuisance since it prevented us from accessing our office network and apps in preparation for the next day's business.
I called this hotel to book a room to go to a concert. On the website, it states they have a complimentary shuttle that will take guests to and from the concert (about 2 miles away). When I called to book the room, I specifically asked if they offer the shuttle service to and from the concert. The answer was "yes we do". The concert was cancelled then rescheduled so I changed the date of our stay to the new concert date. Again, I asked if the shuttle would take us to and from the concert. The answer was "yes, we will". Ok. Great! We won't need to worry about getting parking. When we checked into the hotel, I asked what time the shuttle leaves for the concert. "Oh, our shuttle is not running. It hasn't been running since Covid."!!!!!!!!! I explained that I was told 2 times that it is running and would take us to the concert. "No, sorry" was all they could say. I spoke to the manager. He told me I should have called the hotel directly and asked about it. I DID CALL THE HOTEL!!! I dialed (770) 594-8788 which is the hotel phone number. Then he said it was their booking personnel's fault, not theirs. REALLY??? The manager gave me the number for customer relations so I called them. They gave me the same answer, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do. The shuttle is not running." Then that representative suggested we take an Uber or Lyft. I said that would be great. I will give the hotel our receipt so we can be reimbursed since we were depending on the shuttle. "No, we aren't able to reimburse you for that." So... no shuttle and no parking pass. What a crappy way to treat your guests. Another interesting thing: They offer breakfast until 9 a.m. At 9 a.m. they promptly began removing the food, even as people were coming in. You snooze, you lose. They even removed the coffee which seemed petty. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.…
the area had a lot of shopping and restaurant options, Staff was friendly. Hotel seemed dated. The bathroom was clean and upgraded. The hotel served its purpose. Didn't like the strong smell of weed in halls ways and room.
The worst place ever. Do not stay here, run away! The hotel is NOT like the pictures. It is dirty, no personal to help and they never open the swimming pool. We went on July (pool season) and they didn't open it. I asked the lady Avalon to open it and she said NO! Unbelievable!
I will never stay here again. came into town for a concert. front desk was VERY RUDE, no microwave, fridge froze everything, uncomfortable bed, elevators down, clogged shower, loud during the day & at night in the halls, loud A/C - over $600 for 2 nights. Ridiculous.
The rooms are nice but lobby and elevators don’t have air conditioning. i arrived at hotel to check in and my double bed room was unavailable so I had to get two rooms which was more expensive. I was also charged twice on my credit card. I only caught it because I happen to look on my app a few hours later.
