Was in town for a soccer tournament and this was where the majority of our team stayed. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel was sold out with lots of kids running around and the staff was overwhelmed but did their best to keep up. Even with all the commotion they did a good job considering the circumstances. Location was good near Avalon and has an outdoor pool, outdoor firepit, and nice outdoor grills. The rooms were spacious with nice refrigerator, microwave, plates and utensils.
Love this Home2Suites. It’s located conveniently off 400, close to Avalon-but away from road noise. Our room was very clean and spacious. Full kitchenette, lots of cabinets and storage is all good. Bed super comfy. They have washer and dryers. The outdoor seating area and salt water pool are very welcoming. LOVE that this brand of Hilton hotels are pet friendly. They have a pet walk area with doggie bags. Even with full capacity hotel, we weren’t bothered by noises from hall or neighbors. I am especially loyal to Hilton after COVID-they took care of medical professionals in NYC and all over the country. They made it possible for us to help others and keep our own families safe. Three smaller critiques: 1. Not many parking spaces (only 1 space first night) when hotel was 100% booked. 2..The continual air freshener smell in lobby is almost . overwhelming and not a homey or fresh scent. 3. Breakfast has no meat options, bread is a super thin and gets burned by toaster, pancake batter dispenser has been broken for a week, and the egg omelets look quite unappetizing. Apples are the only fresh fruit and not everyone can eat those due to dental appliances. Now that COVID numbers have receded, I don’t understand where the usual Home2Suites breakfast selection is at?…
I will not be returning here again breakfast was not included in one of the days I stayed there. They charged me extra for a day and I originally had booked the hotel for 5 days they checked me out on the fourth day and had to book at another hotel.
I have stayed here 3 times when I am in town visiting elderly parents. It is clean, no nonsense, and close to restaurants and Avalon. I like it because it has a kitchen and I can keep food/drink as needed. I use the Hilton app to check in and out. I have never had the breakfast so can't comment on that other than it is a nice add. My only issue with this place is that the floors are paper thin. Either that or I have had elephants like people who walk around WAY too much in their room every time. I don't get it. I have never heard people above me in other places, but in this place, it has happened each time. It is like they are stomping. This make me believe that it is not sound proofed or insulated as it should be. Next time, a top floor for me and it solves the problem.
I would have given a zero if possible! Owner/Manager “Sue” should NEVER be in this industry. She literally does not answer questions directly, is impolite and keeps a dirty hotel with rude employees… breakfast server!” Don’t stay here. I’ve already shared our experience with our companies booking agent .
Great value and experience for us and our puppies. The dogs loved the expansive area around the building to smell and relieve themselves. The clean up bags were readily available. We enjoyed the kitchen suite and the hospitality of the management team. Felt appreciated for staying there.
It was supposed to be a weekend relaxation trip for myself. Nope. They had no room service. Zero. Front desk informed me, when I called for room service, that the maids who were scheduled had actually called out. The kitchenette wall was splattered with dried red ..something, sauce I guess, and it was on the sides of the microwave and under it, all dried and old. I recorded it all. There were other stains throughout the room on the walls too. Shower had hairs in it and other stains. I had to clean it before I used it. I had to take out the trash myself from my room because, well, no room service. The mattress has a sinkhole at the shoulders so I felt like I was sliding down, shoulder first, into a void. LOL! If it wasn’t so freakin comical.... Hilton properties failed big time. It was my first stay at a Hilton property and will be the last.…
They shampoo the carpet’s at 2:00 am in the morning. When asked the front desk if they could do another time they said no. It took them 2 hr they did not Finnish until 4 am. This was a Sunday night. Will not stay here again.
The hotel and staff were excellent. Hotel was very clean. The bed was amazing and the sheets I would love to have a set they were nice . Will definitely stay again when I’m back in the area for work. Location was perfect and the outside area was very nice with the grills
Very clean, large rooms, friendly check in and good breakfast. Loved the glassware for breakfast (instead of paper and plastic). I’d recommend anyone visiting Alpharetta to stay here. It’s also not too far from the city (25 min without traffic)
