We had to come back to the area for business and family. This "hotel" has changed ownership and brands at least 5-6 times in the last 10 years. July 2021 update - Water Park - NO Country Kitchen Restaurant - NO Bar/Lounge area - NO Clean and neat - NO It's a dump. It should probably be condemned and torn down. So gross when you have to PAY to stay in a place like this. They couldn't pay ME to stay there.

No ice anywhere on property, hotel lobby was like a dry sauna. Rooms don’t have fridge guest have to use a communal fridge located in the snack room in the lobby. We had a non smoking room, but someone had clearly smoked in the room. The safety latch all hotel rooms normally have was miss.

I booked this hotel despite the bad reviews, thinking it was just a quick night then on to another destination, big mistake. First, the pictures shown are back when the hotel was reputable and for the hotel in it's current condition to post these pictures is fraudulent. Second, this hotel is full of transients and appears to be crime/drug ridden based on the Police visits that happened when I was in the parking lot looking for another hotel. Third, the room was filthy, sheets were stained and broken glass (windows) was everywhere, especially in the back of the hotels. Traveling with my family I was scared for their safety as well as the safety of my vehicle. This place should be shut down, shame on the Town of Alamosa for letting this hotel run under their watch, and also shameful for the hotel to carry "The Roadway Inn" banner. absolutely shameful!

We were there on Memorial Day weekend. All the other hotels were full or we would have moved. The building smelled musty and like cigarettes and dirty carpets. We requested a room with no pets and we were placed upstairs. There was not an elevator, so everything had to be carried, which was a chore! The room was dank, and although there was no evidence of pets, there was vomit on the dilapidated chair by the desk and a dresser drawer that would not stay shut . I bought room deodorizers to make it habitable. There were lots of unsavory types hanging out and one hit up another guest for Meth. There was a broken window at the entrance, and altogether it was unpleasant. Will never stay there again.
