The hotel suite is very spacious and perfect for our family of four. We loved having a kitchenette and separate dining room. The location is excellent and right next door to the Toy Story Parking Lot, which lands you right at the front gate of Disneyland. Fitness center is clean and spacious and I enjoyed riding the Peloton Bike. Breakfast is good and plenty, though crowded as the morning goes on. Only down side is taxes and parking fees. But other than that I would def stay here again!

The rooms are quiet and the location is close to Disneyland and next door to the Toy Story Disneyland parking lot. The tram stop closest to the hotel which we had used on previous stays was no longer active so it's quite a hike through the parking lot to the tram stop. It isn't that bad a walk but was a disappointment. Breakfast was standard and did offer hot foods rather than just a simple continental breakfast.

As a Diamond member, however, I was really surprised that I was not given a room that even met at least one of my preferences. I had even checked in with the hotel at 10 am and the hotel texted me at 4 pm that my room was ready. WHen I checked in around 6 pm, I was disappointed and the front desk receptionist stated that it was because they were all sold out.

Despite this, the room that was next to the elevators, was very quiet and I could not hear it. My room also faced Harbor, not Disneyland, and I was on the 3rd floor instead of a high floor, but I could not hear the cars or street noise. I have to say I was impressed that the rooms were so well insulated.

The Homewood Suites Anaheim is a great location for people attending conventions in Anaheim. It is a very short walk to the convention center. The two room suites are great to spread out and you can hold a meeting without people sitting on your bed. :) The breakfast is really good with many options that vary each day. A great perk was the weekday social which was wine and beer along with enough food to make a full meal.
For those of you going to Disney it is a simple walk to the park or 1/2 block walk to pick up the Disney bus at the parking lot next door. Lots of restaurants within a two block radius
The convention rate was a little high but that is thru the convention.
The rooms have a little bit of wear but considering the Disney traffic they are in great shape. They are excellent for noise. The kitchen was fantastic for leftovers and quick snacks. I would highly recommend this location for business or vacation.

We booked two rooms for a family trip to Disneyland. Only one of our four daughters was able to be on this trip so we only had a total of six people. They assigned our rooms right across the hall from each other so we didn't have far to go to visit. We booked one premium one bedroom king suite and one family suite with a king bed and a set of bunk beds that also had a pull out trundle bed. The premium room included 4 drinks daily: coke, diet coke, Sprite and apple juice along with two bags of chips, and about 6 or 7 assorted candy bars and snack bars. Those snacks came in handy each day to take to the theme parks for our two grandchildren. We also were able to speak to the front desk and exchange the sodas that we didn't like for other sodas. Everyone at this hotel is very nice and welcoming.

The free daily breakfast was great with the grandchildren, as well as the adults, and probably saved us around $100 per day.

The Disney Toy Story Parking lot is next door in the direction of Disneyland. It is about a .25 mile walk to the shuttle bus with saved a lot of time and steps! And we got a lot of steps at the parks anyway! As we walked to the shuttle all of the Disney cast members we came across in the parking lot encouraged us to take the shuttle and were very friendly in showing us the way. Another advantage to taking the parking lot shuttle is that the drop off spot has a direct pathway to the bag check lines. The walk in / ride share drop off area gets all clogged up in the morning and it takes much longer to get into the park on busy mornings when taking that route.

We stayed 4 nights but were only able to take part in the evening social one night but it was a nice way to have some snacks and drinks, including beer and wine, which also saves money to spend more in the parks.

I would recommend this hotel for families. It is not as convenient as staying in the park but the on site hotels fill up quickly and cost twice as much. Factoring in the free breakfast and an occasional evening social and it really adds up to great value.

Sorry for the late review. We stayed here in mid December for 2 nights for a quick visit to Disneyland. The whole property is very clean and neat. Looks almost new. The staff are very nice and welcoming. Our room was outstanding. A living room with a flat screen TV and sofa with pull-out double bed. A full kitchen. Utensils and all. It even has a dishwasher. The 2 queen bedroom was large and also had a flat screen TV. Bathroom was sparkling clean. The sink sits outside the bathroom so you can wash up while someone else is showering. Very convenient. In the evening we sat in the pool area and enjoyed the fire pit. Nice. This hotel offers a convenient hot breakfast. The food was bland. But that's okay. We didn't come here for the food. They also offer an evening social hour with drinks and snacks. Disneyland is about a 15 minute walk. Or you could walk 5 minutes next door to the Toy Story parking lot and take the free shuttles to Disneyland. This hotel is a Disneyland Good Neighbor hotel so you can buy your tickets here. We will stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at the Homewood Suites by Disneyland in August 2021. It’s a modern, updated hotel that seems well operated and staffed (especially compared to other recent hotel stays in the COVID era).

The rooms are spacious and have full kitchens, which is great for a longer stay. We were upgraded to a king suite and enjoyed the extra room. Everything was mostly clean, other than a weird amount of dust around the light fixtures and some pretty deep scratching on the fabric headboard (latter is cosmetic; the former was kind of gross). Breakfast is free (at least for Hilton Gold members—not sure for everyone) and is being served in a “served buffet” style. Options were a bit limited but the line moved quickly and the food was fine. All our interactions with staff were pleasant and helpful, from the front desk to housekeeping to the serving staff at breakfast. They seem to run a tight ship and things were very smooth.

The only real issue we had was that the hotel wasn’t especially close to the Disneyland parks. Your options for getting there: walk 15-20 minutes to the gate (tough on the feet after a 10 mile park day!); rideshare; try to figure out the Anaheim Resort Transport bus system (the app is incredibly confusing and dysfunctional; not our recommendation); or to walk into the Toy Story parking lot for the parks next door and take the parking shuttle (doesn’t open until 7 am and still nets you 8-10 minutes of walking). What worked best for us as rope droppers was to take a ride share in the morning to be there just before 7 am, and to take the Toy Story parking lot shuttle home at night.

We liked the hotel and would recommend it for families needing more room than a standard hotel room offers, but if we come to Disneyland again, I think we would try a hotel closer to the gate (or on property if we could swing the cost).

We spent two nights here recently to celebrate birthdays away from home. We requested two adjoining rooms and that's what we got initially. However, when checking in, there was a large party group checking in ahead of us and they were placed right next to us. We didn't want to risk the noise and potential loss of sleep so we asked for a different room. That was possible but instead of adjoining rooms, we had two rooms down the hall from each other.

All of that worked out. From what I had been told when I had originally called to ask that our rooms be adjoining, they currently allow 24 or 48 hours per room between guests (sorry can't remember exactly).

The one area that could really use improvement during this time is the grab and go breakfast. It was a muffin and a fruit. Having a choice of a hard boiled egg or a breakfast sandwich that we could microwave in the room would have been a bit improvement.

We stayed in for 3 nights and 4 days and really liked it. The location was only a mile from Disneyland and there is a free shuttle right down the road. The beds are comfortable and the rooms quiet. Each room comes with a microwave, fridge, safe for belongings, large TV. The pool is open until 10:00 which is also a bonus. The complimentary breakfast was very good. They have their own waffle maker, yogurt, fruit, muffins, bagels, toast, a good selection of cereal, orange juice, sausage, eggs, potatoes. Also free USA newspaper every morning. I will definitely stay here again

The price of the room went up while I was booking it on the app, I was told my card was declined upon check-in (though my CC company doesn’t show a decline nor a reason for one.) I wasn’t offered any additional perk/bump upon check-in for my HH status (as has been customary at every other property) and when I inquired, I was told the hotel was too small and didn’t offer that. Why is this a Hilton thing if participation varies? This is why I stayed with Hilton, otherwise I would’ve switched back to Marriott.

The room: I got in late and wanted to shower and go to bed. The shower creaked and the whole encasement moved while I was in it, weird and uncomfortable. The body wash provided smelled like a urinal cake and looked like a mixture of colors, I suspect it was refilled with something other than the original product. There was visible mildew that one shot of Tilex could’ve cleared up if someone cared to try and fix it. I also noticed a couple drain flies in the vanity/sink area, again 100% preventable with only basic cleaning. Finally got into bed around 1am and there is food under the pillow of one of the beds and brownish stains and hair near the pillows on the other. As if that weren’t enough, there were also specks of what appeared to be blood on the headboard of the food crumb bed. I had to get up early for a work event and was so tired and disappointed I just wanted to cry. I called the front desk to let them know and was just told that they would “let housekeeping know”. I did say I was very tired and apprehensive about switching rooms since it was so late, but I thought perhaps there would’ve been an offer to have someone come up and bring me new sheets at least! I put a towel over the spot where the food was (lesser of two evils as the stain was unidentifiable) and did my best to sleep, although the bed felt like I was sleeping on plywood and left plenty to be desired. In the morning I’m trying to iron a blazer for my event and after trying a couple outlets, I found one that provided power for the catastrophically broken iron that proceeded to spit and gurgle hot water and white chunks all over my black garment… the only blazer I brought to wear to this work event. What is coming out of this thing and how does an iron get this broken? This thing shot so much water out of it that I had to unplug it because I was afraid I’d get electrocuted. In the end, the front of my blazer is soaking wet and covered in white pasty stains.

Overall my experience was very poor and inconsistent with the Homewoods I’ve stayed at in the past, and certainly with Hilton as a whole. I am deeply disappointed, I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it.

A few small points I forgot to include: the wifi did not work, the bath towels has hair wrapped up in it, and I never got the digital key through my app.

Just a quick trip off during the week and the Homewood Suites Anaheim Resort was the perfect choice. From the moment we checked in we were warmly greeted by Antonio, who was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the area and entertainment available. We were then greeted by the manager Benjamin. He was also very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is nicely decorated and extremely clean. There are several hand sanitizer stations located all around the lobby & elevator areas. Our room was a double queen suite and it was very spacious and very clean. The kitchen was a nice size with a large nice big fridge and a dining table. The living room was comfy, especially the chairs and also a big TV. The bedroom was well lit with a TV, desk, comfy chair and two beds. The beds were perfect. So wonderfully comfortable. The linens were fresh and crisp but also soft. There was an abundance of pillows on each bed varying from soft to firm so we each had what we prefer. The pool was very large and very clean. There was also a smaller shallow pool for little ones. A nice spa tub too but closed during covid unfortunately. The pool area is very well maintained had lots of lounge chairs safely spaced apart
The is also a game room & BBQ area. The fitness room was, again, very clean with several machines of each type. There were also sanitizing wipes there to clean the machines between users. This is a great hotel for couples and especially families. I wish this was an option when my children were small. The area is nice with a wide variety of well known restaurants and entertainment available. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.
