In making my reservation thru Cancelon (a third party vendor) I did not see anywhere in the information that this hotel was a timeshare and as such they would be trying to get me to sit down for a presentation upon check-in. Thankfully, they weren't pushy and we didn't attend the presentation. The bathtub was completely clogged the first morning and water filled the tub as I showered. Spoke to the front desk and they did fix it right away. They only do housekeeping every three days unless you ask for more. Don't have a problem with them not making my bed for 3 days, however, shampoos need to be restocked, coffee needed restocking. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and I did enjoy having the bedroom separate from the living room/kitchenette. Also enjoyed that the sink/vanity area was outside of the shower/toilet area so two people could be getting ready at same time. It wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Rooms are small and a bit tight but appear updated. Location is a reasonable distance to Disneyland and is walkable or an easy Uber ride. Staff are friendly. It’s a Shell Vacation Club / Wyndham property so it’s important you know:

1. They will try to get you to sign-up for a presentation right after they hand you the keys. Not a typical experience if your looking for just a room.

2. Because it’s a vacation club and not a hotel, tidy service doesn’t happen till day 3. They didn’t tell us that when we checked in for 2 nights. We had 5 people in a room for 6. You need housekeeping service in that situation.

3. It has a pool and spa. Both are smaller than you are probably mentally picturing. They’re nice, just be prepared. There is also a rooftop recreation area.

4. There are restaurants and a 7-11 within a 1/4 block. Lots of good choices.

5. Neighbor seems safe although like most of Anaheim there are some homeless scattered about. They were not aggressive at all.

Important Tip: If you’re taking an Uber from Disneyland to the hotel (any hotel) walk across the street and then up the pick up address of iHop from the app. Too many Uber drivers get so frustrated trying to get into the ride share lot at Disney the give up and drop your ride; not cancel. That means you have to file a complaint against the driver to get a refund for the charge.

Small older resort with plenty of amenities. The laundry room is open from 8-10 and costs $1.50 per load to wash and dry - bring quarters. As Wyndham owners, we had a great experience. We received a bottle of wine and snacks when we wanted. Valet is great! They were quick and helpful, never had to wait for our car. Overall ALL staff was awesome. We rented a 1 bdrm - two beds and sofa bed. To our surprise, there was also a murphy bed so plenty of room for our party of 6. Resort is a 10 minute walk to Disneyland.

The resort is centrally located, which is great, but here are a couple things about this resort that you should consider before booking...

1.) The kitchenette: there is no stove so if you plan on staying for a few days and want to cook, you cant. There is only a sink, microwave and mini refrigerator available.

2.) Parking: there is mandatory $14 a day valet parking. This is very inconvenient for families that have many activities planned throughout the day. It's a hassle and honestly, paying a fee to become a member is already enough... but to also pay a parking fee? REALLY?

3.) The rooms are small. The couch is tiny and uncomfortable. There are no extra linens in the room. There are no brooms/dustpans or vacuum for cleaning up if you're traveling with kids. You have to always call the service desk for everything.

4.) We were traveling with our families and our room and the hallways smelt like weed the entire time. Very disappointing.

5.) Due to covid, everything is based on appointment only, which makes sense. But they couldn't even do a good job at that! We had booked pool time in advance, but when we called to confirm, they "forgot" to put us down. This was very disappointing since my kids were looking forward to it. They told us the pool is completely booked out, but I don't ever see anyone in the pool. The hotel does not have a robust mechanism or process and it really made this experience with them a 2/5.

I wouldn't recommend Peacock Suites to any friends or family. It is a poorly managed "resort." The staff is nice but the policy and processes they have in place are questionable. The resort also needs updating and better upkeep. For the price people pay, the motel 6 next to it would be a better option.

Very disappointing.

This place is exactly the same as when we first saw it in 2002 except it’s rundown and the hotel has done zero to upgrade their accommodations. The furniture is worn and raggedy looking. When the arms of sofas are bare of fabric, it’s time to change out the sofa.
Worst of the worst…. After checking in, I had to tell the timeshare sellers that I’m not interested and yet they kept pushing. One guy told me the presentation at 8am was for 60 minutes. The second guy who tried to push harder said “it’s not 60mins long” after his rep just said it’s an hour. These guys are so pushy and they need to understand “no.”
Beds are uncomfortable. No daily cleanings because of covid but you get charged for cleaning the room after you check out.
$15 valet parking per day is only way to park your car.
Not an all around pleasant experience.

The rooms are nice enough and well stocked for a nice stay. The 1 bedrooms provide a nice divider to allow adults to sit on the sofa or at the table after kids have gone to bed.

HOWEVER, they will torment you with timeshare pitches. If you rebuff them, they'll try again. Do not fall for it. The 60-90 minutes becomes 3 hours of torture if you fall for it, and they pass you from one person to the next as you say no to offer another option. They don't give you the promised offer/gifts until you've rebuffed them repeatedly. It's the worst sort of deceptive marketing. I'd rather get stuck on a call about my car's extended warranty. Avoid at all costs.

We stayed at the Peacock Suites during Spring Break Week, April 2023. The 2 bedroom suite was clean and spacious. It was large enough to accommodate a party of 2 adults, two teenagers, and one 9-year-old. The bed and bath linens were clean, and we had enough for the entire week. Both bathrooms were stocked with soap, shampoos and mouthwash. The furniture was clean, but a bit outdated, especially the living room / dining room area furniture. They had a nice gift shop full of Disney gifts at very reasonable prices, much cheaper than at Disneyland. Note that their pool, hot tub, and game room are in outside / not fully enclosed areas. The weather was chilly during our stay, so our kids did not take advantage of the pool or game room. Disneyland is minutes away by car. It is a very long walk from the hotel. There are dozens of restaurants in the immediate area with all kinds of food options. We were disappointed that it did not have a full kitchen. The refrigerator was very small, and there is no stove - only a microwave. However, there were plenty of plates, glasses and utensils for the food we did bring in. The valet only parking was time consuming, especially coming back to the resort late in the evening. However, if you have a handicap parking sticker / permit, the valet fees are waved. Also, it is a time share resort, so you will be approached to attend a sales meeting. However, we were so pleasantly surprised that the sales person was not aggressive when we said no and did not hound us during the rest of our trip. We had a good overall experience at this resort, and we would recommend it for families coming to Anaheim for Disneyland.

Stayed here the first week of December as part of an RCI exchange. The three bedroom units are small, in my opinion, and configured weird, although updated, so still nice. They offer an open-air multi purpose family room that is good for families (TVs, games, air hockey, etc). The sun deck is updated and nice as well. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly. We experienced miscommunication with the front desk even before we arrived, which was off-putting. Our biggest feedback is that the hotel needs their own Disney shuttle. The ART shuttle pick ups are too unreliable. We did, however, use ART to head back to the hotel after a long day of Disney and it was just okay, lots of waiting and masses of people. Laundry facilities are good. Beds are comfy, showers are awesomely powerful!

My family and I recently stayed at Peacock Suites in Anaheim. This trip was booked in December 2021 for a three bedroom. My husband and I received corresponded from the resort prior to our stay so they were aware of our upcoming trip. We arrived at the suites around 11:30am and didn't expect the room to be ready but they did check us in. We were told that we would receive a room on the second floor, which I had previously requested a higher floor due to families with children that constantly run over your head, but we were okay with the second floor. At 4pm we came back to see if the room was ready. Sam, manager told us about the room on the first floor was ready, we reiterated that we were told we would be placed on the second floor. He snapped that we were rushing them (staff) and this was the only room ready and that he didn't see the difference in the floors. He was very unprofessional. We went and had lunch, returned to the game room and didn't come back to the desk until 4pm. The front desk knew we were there earlier and don't understand why the room we were told we would be in wasn't clean. I have provided pictures of the condition of the couch and the view. Dingy sheets and uncleaned bathmats. Room across from the elevator and ice machine, awaken every morning at 6am to guest filling their coolers with ice. We have owned Timeshare since 1995 and this is the worst I have seen.

I was expecting a small resort similar to my Wyndham timeshare since i had traded my points for RCI and got this. This was NOT on par with a time-share! The refrigerator in the room was the size of your typical room fridge in a nice hotel. Kitchen utensils were basic and of course there was no dishwasher. There was not a market place or any kind of snack shop on the property. Parking was by valet only. The pool was tiny and was on the ground floor UNDERNEATH of the rest of the hotel so don't expect to lay out and get a suntan. It was clean and adequate for my husband and i, but there was no daily housekeeping service. I prefer to stay at my Wyndham timeshare if possible, but if not, I'd rather stay in Hilton or Hyatt than this "resort"

They had all the kitchen utensils you’ll need to cook and includes microwave and fridge. It also includes plates, silverware and glasses. BBQ grill on the roof top with a gig screen TV.
