Hotel's Favourite

I chose this hotel because it was close enough to walk to Disney's Toy Story parking lot to catch their shuttle with a very reasonable price. Then I investigated the Anaheim ART Bus and discovered it picked up directly in front of the Stanford! Game On!
I chose a king room. The bed was supportive enough to help with my back, comfortable enough to stay asleep all night. The room had laminate flooring with a rug under the bed and a couch. There were 6 pillows to choose from for sleeping. They come in different supports, so was easy to find one I liked. The bed had a top and bottom sheet, thermal blanket and a cover. Kept me toasty enough not to turn on the heater.
The room had the following: Samsung TV with sleep timer, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker (no tea), iron, ironing board, hair dryer, toiletries, enough towels for 2 people. It was super clean and had no aroma of cleanser :)
The bathroom was roomy enough for one person, had a working fan and shampoo and body wash dispensers attached to the wall. The shower has a nice rain shower head newer tile surround and tub was not slippery.
The sink area had a decent sized counter with one sink and Keurig on it, leaving plenty of room for my make up, hair curler and my personal electric tea maker.
I couldn't hear my neighbors at all - 2 adults and one child, until they closed the door to leave.
Staff was very personable and helpful. Full of ideas for the area and knowledgeable about the ART bus.
The pool area was nice and clean, clear, sparkling water in the pool and a neat, roomy bathroom.
Breakfast was in a room off the office. Neat and tidy with room for 4 tables and chairs. Also a patio with tables outside. There was an attendant serving scrambled eggs, country potatoes and sausage; in addition: 3 make your own waffle stations; water, juice, coffee, tea and milk available; small yogurts; muffins, bread for toast, butter, bagels, cream cheese; dry cereal and instant oatmeal. A nice choice of things compared to danishes other hotels offer!
Plenty of parking and they only charge $10.00 a day!
Already have a reservation for April! This will most likely be my family's first choice in Anaheim from now on!

I guess I didn't read the fine print on parking, I thought it was free. So I paid $7 for each vehicle for 3 nights, we had 2 of them. Then an additional $40 for an early check in which I didn't mind.
The free breakfast is served from 630a to 930a, it was okay. Maria & Mariana was the workers that was taking care of the breakfast, they did a good job on everything from maintaining the area with wiping down tables, emptying the trash as they got full, restocking/replenishing breakfast items.
Our room was just right for a party of 6, kids loved the bunk bed & the adults liked the 2 queen size beds. TV in both the main area & in the kids room. The room was clean but we always sanitize & disinfect the hotel rooms before we settle in.
Overall stay was good & would stay again if we're in the area.

This is my "Go To" motel as a Solo Traveler and with my daughter and grandsons. The 2-bedroom/2-bath rooms are great for kids, the ART bus picks up right outside of the motel and is the closest bus stop at Disneyland for your trips back. I recommend this motel for your family stay at Disneyland!

We've stayed at your property several times in recent years. Each experience (prior to our most recent trip) was exceptional. Great service, very clean, very accommodating. This trip was quite different. Our room wasn't clean when we arrived. There was sand on the floor and in the bed sheets. After the first night I requested that our sheets be changed and floors cleaned while we were out for the day. That didn't happen. We got into the room around midnight, exhausted from our day, and nothing had been touched. I called the desk and they sent over a gentleman with a couple bed sheets, not nearly enough to change all four of the beds. It took four trips from various hotel staff members before they delivered enough of the right linens to change over the beds. And we had to change them ourselves, at midnight, exhausted and in need of a shower.

The complimentary electric car chargers have been really valuable to our stays in recent years. On this most recent stay, trying to use one each night was a fiasco. Each night when we would return to the room, 3 of the 4 charging spots were occupied by non-electric vehicles. One night, the charger I plugged into malfunctioned continually through the night. Another night, I had to convince another guest to move their vehicle so that I could charge. Each and every night, I had to call the front desk and ask them to turn the charger on; one of those nights they never did turn it on.

Being a guest at your property requires a hell of a lot of work.

I don't understand your protocols in light of COVID-19 but I found it hard to stomach that I was paying as much or more per night to stay at your property as I had in the past while getting only a fraction of the service. We stayed for five nights without any housekeeping service yet we paid rates at or above what we would've paid in the past while getting daily housekeeping service.

I believe this was our fourth time staying at your property. After our most recent experience, I can't imagine ever staying there again.

Don't expect too much.

Pros: Cost was pretty good for a suite that slept 5 of us (me and 4 basketball player teenagers). Staff was nice and pool area was decent. Parking was sufficient. Good location, close to places to eat and shopping.

Cons: Room was dark, stuffy and outdated. No towel hooks, so use the closet hangers with clips because housekeeping comes every other day, so you have to reuse towels for the 2nd day before they're replaced. If you can, bring one of those plug-ins where you can turn 1 outlet into 3-4, there's virtually no usable outlets by the beds/nightstand unless you unplug the alarm clock and reading lamps. Check the A/Cs within the room & over each door before you settle in (turn it down to 64). If it leaks, ask for a room change because with our experience, you'll have to call maintenance daily and deal with a cold water puddle OR they'll dump a bucket under the leak and disappear. Don't expect much for the free breakfast, we utilized DoorDash often for the mornings (we were at the basketball tournament all day/evening).

Today there were 6 confirmed cases of corona virus in the US today. Disneyland seems like a massive breeding ground for this. I made the decision to cancel my family trip and re schedule so my little baby didn’t have that extra chance of catching something deadly. At the decision of the manager, they were not willing to change dates, leave credit, or cancel the reservation. I understand not giving a full refund but when a state of emergency is about to Be called in the US, I figured they would be willing to help out in any way. As an event manager who deals with major chains such as Marriott and Hilton, this would be absolutely unacceptable service. I am happy to light up your hotel With horrible reviews with every avenue I can find through my hotel connections.

This is our third trip to Disneyland. We discovered the Stanford on our first trip several years ago and based on the cleanliness of the rooms, plenty of extra hot water, and friendliness of the staff - receptionist, breakfast staff, and house cleaners. We have come back two more times to the same place. We were asked if we wanted upstairs or downstairs which I appreciated as we have problems with our backs. We had an excellent experience this time as well. The receptionist explained the changes in riding the ART bus to Disneyland which was very helpful. My only suggestion is in room 103, the bathroom door is significantly swollen on the bottom and needs to be changed and the housekeepers need to make sure an extra roll of toilet paper is in the bathroom. It was a bit embarrassing to go and gave to ask for toilet paper. Although a hot breakfast is offered with a variety of other choices, unfortunately, the first day, the kitchen ran out of sausage before we arrived (we were offered eggs and potatoes) and on our second day, we arrived early enough for the sausage but noticed others after us only received scrambled eggs. However, this has not happened at our past stays. We would certainly stay at the Stanford again. The price, comfortable beds, and easy access along with the friendly staff makes it a great place to stay. A microwave, refrigerator, and plenty of ice are available.

Be prepared to download the ART app for transportation unless you want to walk one mile to Disneyland -- Tripshot and Token Transit. For Disneyland, download the Disneyland app and Play Disney.

We had an impromptu Disneyland day planned and decided last minute that we would rent a hotel room for the night. Standford Inn & Suites had affordable and comfortable accommodations for me and my family. The kids loved the small attached children’s suite decorated to different Disney themes. Itzel was super nice and when she realized my kids liked Star Wars changed our room so that the kids got a room with that theme. I definitely will be looking to stay here again. The ART picks you up right in front of the hotel which makes this place ideal for a Disneyland stay.

The room was a great deal for the price we had paid. After a 6 hour road trip from northern California, we had arrived to the inn earlier than expected. Alice at the front desk was super kind and helped us check in early. She even let us choose which specific room we wanted out of the ones that were available. The room itself was very clean, and the A/C unit made the room so much colder compared to the 90 degree temperature outside. I especially appreciate how the bus that stops at this hotel drops you off at the very front of Disneyland.

Our family stayed here during a recent visit to Disneyland. My teenage girls loved the bunk beds and separate room where they could spread out. Breakfast options were good - eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, juice and most importantly coffee. The location is well within walking distance of Disneyland - about 20-25 minutes from the gates. The rooms were quiet, pool area was clean with plenty of towels, and we felt very safe staying here.
