We just got home from a 7 night stay at Castle Inn and Suites. The motel was exactly as I had expected and had all the amenities that we needed. Everything was basic and not super updated, but it was clean and everyone was very helpful! The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and it was an easy 7ish minute walk to Disneyland. We loved the spacious rooms. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 in the standard room. If you are the type of person who is used to more luxurious hotels, this may not be the place for you. But if you are budget-conscious and are fine with basic accommodations close to the park, this fits the mark! We would absolutely consider staying here again.

They had extra vacancy over the weekend and so they let us keep parking in their lot even after check out so we could go and walk to Downtown Disney. Excellent and genuinely happy/helpful staff. All for a reasonable price for Disneyland too!

Spiffybumble, thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience at the Castle Inn & Suites. We are so happy to see you enjoyed your stay with us and we appreciate the compliments to our friendly staff. The location of the hotel is one of the best in the city! Right across the street from the Disneyland theme parks, within about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the entrance of both parks. Also within walking distance to the Downtown Disney Shopping center, the Gardenwalk shopping center, and all of the great restaurants the resort area has to offer. We are not always able to offer parking after check out, technically the parking expires at 11:00AM on the day of departure. When our staff notices the lot is not going to be full however, we are happy to let our guest keep the car here longer. If we can help our guests save the $35 to park at Disney, that means they can buy an extra churro! We hope we will become your new favorite place to stay and we will have the pleasure of seeing you time and time again. Until next time we will be here ready to serve.

This is about the 3rd time we have stayed here and have been very happy every time. Only a 8 to 10 minute walk to Disneyland entrance and very central to restaurants etc..The rooms can use a little updating but they are still clean and comfortable so no big deal. The staff is amazing and very helpful and the hotel is also very quiet for a good nights sleep. Also, huge plus that parking is included in your stay! Will stay again and again.

This hotel was probably great 30 years ago, now it's dated and rundown. The rooms reeked of bleach, which seemed to be coming from either the bathroom or the a/c unit, we could never hunt it down completely. The beds were below average. The sink faucet wouldn't set to warm, it was either hot or frigid. One elevator for the whole hotel, which was slow; we ended up carrying our luggage up three flights of stairs because it was faster. I'd always wanted to stay here when I was younger, be careful what you wish for.

Thank you for staying with us at the Castle Inn & Suites. We are very sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your stay. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few things in the hopes that some of our future guests will have a better experience. The housekeeping staff is provided with cleaning chemicals and equipment to address a variety of situations. We would not use bleach in an air conditioner, but it may have been used to clean the bathroom tiles, tub, or toilet. This would only speak to the cleanliness of the room, if there was a lingering odor, we apologize for the inconvenience. Our staff is available at the front desk to assist with any concerns, perhaps we could have arranged to have our staff return to the room to address the issue. The hotel has 2 elevators to access all floors, the room may have been located closer to one of the elevators as they are not right next to each other. For convenience they are located at different points throughout the property to provide all guests with access. Our staff has always worked hard to maintain the property and we make our guests our top priority. We appreciate the feedback and we hope that we will have another opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Went just one night for this visit, but we’ve stayed a few times over the years. It’s been so long because of Covid and all the changes at Disney, that it’s been quite some time since I’ve stayed here. I’d forgotten how nice it is to have free parking, Wi-Fi a comfortable room to relax in after spending all day at Disneyland. It’s just a 8 minute walk from the resort which is perfect! Lots of restaurants close by, and a CVS and a Walgreens are just a block or so away. There’s also a pool, which I didn’t use, but looked nice enough if a little small.Rooms have a mini fridge and a microwave so perfect for solo travelers or families. And NO RESORT fee. Staff were wonderful, allowing me to park and check in early, so I could hurry on down to Disneyland. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I ever decide to come back to DL.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a very professional and courteous review about your stay at the Castle Inn & Suites. Often, one day is not enough, there is so much to see and to do in the Disneyland Resort area. When visiting the parks, what mor memorable experience is there to have than sleeping at a Castle? We welcome you back after the last few years, and we hope the next trip will not be years away. The hotel is in a perfect location, right in the middle of everything. Walking distance to the Disneyland parks, the entertainment options in the area, all of the great restaurants, and of course the shopping opportunities. The staff is so thankful for your compliments, we all work hard to provide our guests with the best service we can give. When you consider the hotel provides the free parking, free Wi Fi, and No Resort Fees, there is not a better option in the city! We hope to see you again very soon!

I kept seeing so many reviews saying this was old but a good hotel but I want to share my experience. In my opinion, It is a step up from a no tell motel, with doors to the street. I thought I’m OK with an old hotel as long as it’s clean. I was also thinking being able to walk back at lunchtime for break would’ve been nice so the location seemed ideal. (I was wrong.) We arrived late in the evening, and I needed to give my son a bath or a shower. When we started running the water to get it warm, hair started backing up out of the tub drain. So I thought i’ll just give him a shower, but the shower would not maintain a temperature so we went back to bath. When brushing teeth the stench coming from the sink was like sewage. If you’ve ever cleaned out your shower drain of the big hairball, it’s that same smell. My son has asthma and needed his inhaler before bed. I should have thought of that before booking an old motel that was musty. The heater/ac vent had a bunch of moldy spots in the vent. I could not sleep at all, even with ear plugs. The street noise was SO loud it was like I had the window open and apparently people use Harbor Blvd as a raceway on Friday nights. The walkways are very uneven and tilted so rolling your suitcase down to your room can be a challenge, if you’re not on the ground floor. I started looking at the one star reviews and started to see people with the same experiences as mine. Because I was unable to sleep, there was no way I was going to try to find a new room to áddress the other concerns. I did not want to stay another night there. I emailed my travel agent at midnight when I still couldn’t sleep to see if she could work her magic and find us a new hotel. I was willing to pay whatever fees. Also, I realized the extra 10 minutes of walking was the very last thing I wanted to do at the end of the night on sore feet. She was able to switch us to Anaheim Majestic Garden, that was an actual hotel and 100 times better for us.

Heathergetsaround, we would like to apologize for the negative experience you had, and we want you to know that we have inspected the room and addressed any issues reported to our staff. We regret the missed opportunity to have resolved the problem during your visit to the hotel. Instead of contacting the front desk, who are available 24 hours per day, the travel agency was involved and decided to move you to another hotel. We are certain that our staff could have found an easier and simpler solution to the problems if we were made aware. Many of the hotels in Anaheim were constructed with exterior walkways, this does not have any impact on the quality of the property. The Castle Inn & Suites is a well-established, family friendly and family-oriented hotel. We are within a 5-to-7-minute walk from the entrance of both of the Disneyland parks. Not only is the location one of the best in the city, but our friendly staff and added values really set us apart from the rest of the properties in the area. We understand that some guests may just prefer a different product, and we are glad to hear you found a property to accommodate you and your son. We would like to reassure you that the Castle Inn & Suites remains committed to providing our guests with a safe, clean, and pleasant experience when they come to stay with us. Thank you again for the feedback, we will use the opportunity to improve our overall guest experience.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Disneyland of course. Check in was quick and easy and the staff was very helpful with parking. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Pools looked good but we did not swim. Short walk to Disney. It was exactly what we needed and we couldn't have been more pleased.

Thank you so much for the amazing review of your stay at the Castle Inn & Suites. We are happy to hear we met all of your expectations and you couldn't be more pleased. The Castle Inn & Suites is one of the only hotels across the street from Disneyland to continue to offer the guests free parking for one vehicle per room, free Wi Fi in the room, and No Resort Fees. The heated pool and hot tub are open from 8:00AM to 10:00PM every day. There is also a small children's wading pool for little ones if there are other people swimming. Our rooms all feature refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, and hair dryers, so our guests have all of the comforts of home. The staff appreciates your compliments, and we will be here waiting to provide you with another excellent stay the next time you are in town. See you real soon!

Within walking distance of Disneyland parks. Room was super clean. Lighting in room is adequate. Good counter space. The sink is outside of the toilet/shower room, which I like. Bed was not the most comfortable, but was ok, and I loved the pillows. The people at the front desk were super nice, and helpful. They stored our luggage both on check-in day, when we arrived early and our room was not ready but we wanted to go to the parks, and on check-out day, when it was time to check out but we still had time to visit the parks before we needed to go to the airport. This hotel is old but well maintained, and a good value for the price paid. Two miner complaints; The toiletries were pretty low quality, and there is a bit of noise that comes from outside, d/t the door being accessible to the parking lot, but we were so exhausted after our time at Disneyland that we could have slept through just about anything.

Thank you for writing a review about your stay at the Castle Inn & Suites! We are so happy to see that you had a great stay with us. Our staff is sincerely grateful to you for your compliments about the cleanliness and the service you received. We have always prioritized our guests and will continue to provide the level of service you have come to expect from us. We are fortunate to have staff who genuinely care about the hotel and the guests. We are happy to store guests' luggage prior to check in or after check out if it makes your stay a little more enjoyable. The Castle Inn & Suites is a great value, right in the heart of the Disneyland Resort area. Within walking distance to all of the dining, shopping, and entertainment options the resort area has to offer. When you consider the hotel offers free Parking, free Wi Fi, and does not charge a Resort Fee, there is no better choice in the area. We hope the next time you come to town, you will remember us, and come back to stay with us again.

I’ve stayed in nearly every hotel within walking distance to Disney and this was by far the least comfortable. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, very hard, and it was topped with a sheet and paper thin blanket. It was so loud constantly had people running by and yelling or having loud conversations from 5am-11pm. We didn’t get any sleep during our stay. The room was comparable to Motel 6 and i wasn’t expecting it to be super nice but the pictures made it look much newer and nicer than it was. My only positive is that the hotel staff was great, super friendly and helpful when we needed additional things. The location was good but there are plenty of better choices around. Would recommend Hyatt House or Candy Cane Inn across the street.

Thank you for your recent stay at the Castle Inn & Suites. There are many families and children who are often excited to visit the Disneyland parks. If you would prefer a quieter location, we would be happy to try to accommodate the request. Our beds are triple sheeted with a blanket between the layers. If a guest would prefer an extra blanket we are always happy to meet the request. If you have any concerns, please bring them to the attention of our front desk staff and we will make every effort to resolve the issue. Our beds are Serta brand perfect sleeper mattresses, most of the feedback is positive regarding the comfort. We are sorry to hear they were not to your satisfaction. We appreciate your review, and we will continue to try to provide our guests with a great experience moving forward. Thank you.

We were very happy with our stay at Castle inn and suites last week. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was quiet there as well. I thought how they folded the towels was cute and unique. We had a refrigerator and a microwave that made things more convenient. A 7 minute walk to Disneyland. Staff was nice. Free parking was the best. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience at the Castle Inn & Suites. We are very happy to see that you enjoyed your visit and we can't wait to see you again! The hotel is in a perfect location for anything a guest could need in the area. As mentioned, we are within a 5 to 7 minute walk to the entrance of both Disneyland and California Adventures. We are also within walking distance to the Anaheim Convention Center, many convenience stores, restaurants, and the Anaheim Gardenwalk. All rooms are complete with refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, and hair dryers. The Castle Inn & Suites is one of the last hotels to still offer guests free parking for one vehicle, free Wi Fi in the room and No Resort Fees. We hope you are already planning your next visit!
