My family of 5 stayed for 3 nights for our 1st visit to Disneyland (frequent visitors to Disney World). We stayed in a 2 bedroom animation suite since we’re 4 adults and 1 early teen, and the decor and extra space started the vacation positively for everyone. The rooms were very clean and the decor was amazing, with Cars, Toy Story and Monsters, Inc. It appeared to be recently renovated because I didn’t see pictures online that matched this. Unfortunately, my wife only recorded video and TripAdvisor won’t let me upload screen shots from that video as pictures so I can’t share how great things looked. Another plus is that each bedroom had a bathroom, and the bathroom sinks are separate from the shower areas so 4 of us were able to get ready for the day at the same time. There were unfortunately a couple of things that some people won’t like. We were in a small building on the second floor without an elevator, so a flight of stairs with suitcases can be challenging for some. And our rooms were overlooking the pool so at night we could hear kids playing but it never became a problem for us, and the pool closes at 10pm, which the hotel seemed to enforce. My family insisted that I be honest about the walk- it’s long. In about 15 minutes you reach Disney, but that’s the security screening to Downtown Disney. It’s about another 5-10 minute walk to the entrances to Disneyland and Cal Adventure. After full days of walking around those parks in 90F heat, that walk back was tough for all of us, and we’re all able-bodied adults. Once in Downtown Disney, there is an option to get on the monorail and save a few steps but it only takes you to an entrance by Tomorrowland so it isn’t an option for Cal Adventure. With the amazing decor, cleanliness, comfortable beds and friendly staff if we vacation again on the west coast we’d very likely stay again- but I’d probably look into the shuttle service to skip the walk.…

Everyone here is very nice and helpful. All though the rooms are a little small for a big family, everything is very clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a bar/restaurant that serves very good food for a decent price.

i was disappointed with this ihg hotel. well to start, when i made the reservation i got a window that said sign up for a credit card and get 150 off. but once it took me to the chase credit card site i could never get back to my 150 off. then i got to the hotel and i was early and my room isnt ready. she could give me and upgrade with an early check in fee. the girls at the front desk tell me in need to get the apps to pay for and ride the ART now, but they were not much help with that. once is enough

We wanted a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of Disney and this fit the bill. A basic room with everything we needed. Everything worked. Fridge and microwave were a bonus. The room felt very clean, my #1 priority. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We only slept here so can’t speak to other amenities.

Our trip to Disneyland was to celebrate our granddaughter's birthday. In the past we have stayed at one of Disney's properties but decided to go with the Holiday Inn as it is next to Disneyland (it seems necessary to say that our usual Disney hotel was under significant construction and there were no guest services being offered). The location was perfect and we were able to use a door to door bus ride provided by the city for a small fee (a real bargain for multiple days). The room was tight but comfortable and clean enough. The reduced cleaning schedules brought on by covid is taking its toll on hotel rooms (we have seen this everywhere in the past 2 years). However, the housekeeping staff are great. They were so helpful with anything we needed including some quick sewing with a last minute costume problem for our little princess! We took a couple of meals in the hotel restaurant. The food was ok and basic. However, the staff was very friendly and went beyond our expectations to put together meals for a picky little eater. Just a few additional notes- the beds were ok and the pillows were good. All of the staff were great. They were welcoming and helpful with anything we asked. However, the real bonus was that I paid less to stay here than I would have paid in fees and taxes alone at that Disney property.…

If you're travelling to Disneyland, this is a great place to stay. If you're in Anaheim for another reason, you might look elsewhere for a more comfortable and updated place to stay. We stayed 4 nights here at this hotel because of its proximity to Disneyland (it says 1 block, but its closer to 1/2 a mile, walk). In that case, it works perfectly - easy sidewalk walking to the "secret" back entrance to Disneyland by Downtown Disney. The hotel rooms a very clean, and the beds are comfortable - those are the most important things to me on a trip like this and why i rated it the way I did. The hotel though needs some major help - one of the two small elevators is out (and looks like it has been for awhile). Signs on the wall have all the letters peeled off. The loose carpet in the hallways is a tripping hazard. Our bathroom had peeling wallpaper and rusty metal trip around the floor. Again comfortable, clean, but really worn out. I'm guessing if I come back this won't be a Holiday Inn again, it'll be some lower market chain because of the age/wear. …

This hotel is one of our go-to’s when we stay at Disneyland! The room is always clean, the employees are friendly and helpful! It is a super quick walk to Downtown Disney and Disneyland! There is lots of parking and the amenities are great! If you’re heading to Disneyland I would recommend this place to stay!

Clean rooms, very close and kind staff! We love staying here each time we go to Disney. It's a very quick Uber ride to the monorail and our beds are always so comfy at the end of a long, long day!!!!!
