The Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort often receives praise for its modern, clean rooms and convenient proximity to Disneyland and dining options. However, some guests report frustrations with unresponsive service and occasional early morning noise disturbances.
While the amenities, including an on-site Starbucks, are typically well-received, mixed reviews surface regarding value, citing unexpected costs and inconsistent housekeeping. Despite these concerns, the hotel's location remains a highlight for many visitors.

Detailed Reviews
My expections were pretty low because of some of the reviews. We chose the Sheraton based on proximity to the parks and it being really resonably priced. I should also say that we aren't easy to please in the hotel department. We've been lucky enough to stay in very nice hotels and it has definitely changed our perspective.
We came with two adults and two boys ages 4 and 6. My son wet the bed and I was so worried about them cleaning the sheets, because some hotels don't come in and clean your room anymore. We got back from the park and the bed was clean and made up. It was such a relief.
The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also suprisingly large for a hotel. The Shampoo, soap, and conditioner provided smelled so nice. We scored a room facing Disney with a perfect view of the fireworks! It was so nice to be able to leave the park with our young kids and still see the show. Our room also had a deck. The last night I opened the drapes and fell asleep to the fireworks.
Their pool is heated and opened from 7-10pm. My kids are super early risers so having the pool open so early was really nice! The gym is decently large. It has everything you need.
There is not continental breakfast, but there is a tasty restauraunt. The Savor eggs benidict was deliecious! great portion sizes and great service.
The walk to Disney is just as far as the Disney parking garage. It takes about 10 minutes. There are tons of restauraunts along the way we saw an Ihop, Denny's, PF Changs, California Pizza Kitchen, and Cheesecake Factory. We went to the cheesecake factory on our last day (saturday night) and we only had a 15 minute wait.
parking was $30 a night. Everything in California costs an astronomical amount of money. All hotels charge for parking it's just the name of the game. Be prepared to pay out your nose, especially in the park!
My family has all agreed we'll be staying here again. You just can't beat the convinience of staying so close to the park and the price is really competitive.

I've now had two stays at this property and can definitely say it's a wonderful value. On both of my stays I've had the opportunity to be in what appears to be recently remodeled rooms that have a decent layout, are clean, and have ample towels. We are marriot Platinum and on both occasions we've received Club lounge access as well as being granted a late checkout. The lounge is perfectly adequate with light snacks in the day (chips, candy, nuts, water, soda, coffee) and some basic appetizers (taquitos, jalapeno poppers, meatballs) and two alcholic drinks (per room) in the evenings. The hotel is a short walk to Disneyland which was great when I needed to return to the room for my son’s nap. I also appreciated the ability to leave our car in the hotel lot until after we were done for the day at Disneyland. During our first stay we were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel very graciously provided my wife and I with free dinner and drinks at their restaurant which is an all you can eat pizza concept. Upon entering our room on that first visit we noticed that water had come in through the patio, there had been some pretty major storms that morning as well as a couple of days prior. I quickly reported it to the front desk and they switched our room immediately to an upgraded room with visibility of the fireworks show from Disneyland in the evening. They also provided us with breakfast vouchers for the restaurant the next day. I didn't ask for any of it, they offered it on their own which I appreciated…just doing the right thing. I very much appreciated their effort to make this right. The onsite restaurant is decent, great friendly service. We didn't get to access any of the other facilities (pool or gym) given our primary purpose was a Disneyland visit but the pool area looked clean and well maintained as did all of the grounds in general. There was ample parking, all of the staff was courteous and friendly.

Stayed here for a trip Disney must say the location is great short walk to get to Disney parking was easy accessible. They have a Starbucks inside and a pizza place I think (didn’t try it) really nice looking. The elevators are horrible in the room area takes only one worked out of the 2 so it took forever to get on the elevator everytime it would stop it was full. Also when we got on to go up to our room it just passed our floor for some reason. Then we get to the room looked extremely nice we packed up and left for Disney without a great deal of examination. When we got back we were drained went to get in bed and the bed had some reddish looking stain possibly dried blood ? Looked gross though and then we noticed under the sheets on the other side of the bed was a towel ? That just felt like it was something nasty under it. We went to the front desk asked if we can have someone come in and change the bedding the guy at guest services said he’d get someone on it we sat in the lounge for a bit hoping it’d be taken care of when we got back. We got back and nothing was touched. So we made another call and they sent someone and all they did was drop off a sheet. So sadly we had to just put that on top of the red stained sheet and call it a night we were tired. Also thermostat doesn’t do anything when you try and change the temperature think it’s master controlled elsewhere I run hot so the room was kinda miserable throughout the night with no air blowing at all.

Brian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It's great to hear that you enjoyed our prime location and the ease of parking, along with our in-house amenities. However, we acknowledge your discomfort with certain aspects during your stay, particularly the elevator inconvenience, and cleanliness and temperature control concerns in your room. While we maintain rigorous cleaning protocols, it's regrettable that your experience didn't reflect this. Your feedback is crucial for us to improve, and our team members are looking into this matter. In regards to your mention of labor action, the hotel is indeed involved in union negotiations and we respect the rights of our associates to voice their opinions. While we do not support the manner in which they protest, we are unable to intervene, and are provided no support from authorities to control the disturbance. We understand your frustration and aim to create a more favorable experience in the future. We trust there will be a more favorable opportunity to regain your confidence on another occasion. Thank you once again for sharing your feedback.

The union strike is extremely noticeable!!! I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and this had to be the worst experience of all of my trips to this location. After day one I continuously received daily letters asking if I didn’t need my room cleaned by housekeeping to put the do not disturb sign on my door! I tried calling down to “ guest services “ several times throughout my stay(6 days) and no one would ever pick up! I got through once on my last night asking for coffee/ creamer that the housekeeper forgot to refill that day and the agent asked me to come downstairs and get it myself, when I said, no, housekeeping forgot to refill it and I am exhausted from being at the parks all day… she finally said she would have it sent up, it never came! I tried calling down several times to “ guest services” but no one ever answered…..(not shocked) every time I was forced to physically go down to front desk because no one would answer the “ guest services “ line I would arrive to find no guest’s at the front desk and at bare minimum 1 but usually 2 sometimes 3 agents sitting at the desk twiddling their thumbs! In a nutshell, this will be my last of 15 years staying here! There are lots of options around Disneyland to stay, the things ( customer service) that are of utmost importance to me do not seem to be on the list of priorities for the front line staff at the Sheraton Anaheim.

We were visiting Disney Parks and LA sights from London UK and we opted for this hotel for7 night stay in September 2023 and we were not disappointed. Rooms are large, modern with comfortable beds, aircon excellent and housekeeping kept the rooms immaculate throughout with fresh towels , bedding and toiletries. We had view of the fireworks from our balcony on the 6th floor. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with a great bar/lounge area an on site Starbucks and market area serving excellent selection of hot food to go. The hotel is 10 minute walk to Disney parks and close to Supermarkets, restaurants but set far enough back from traffic and the hustle and bustle so is quiet and calm. We did not use the pool but it looks nice with plenty of sun loungers. Thoroughly recommend you stay at this hotel if visiting Anaheim.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed at the Sheraton.
Unfortunately after arriving after a 20 hour journey from the UK overall we were disappointed not to be offered the room on the higher floor over looking Disney, which we requested a year ago when we booked the holiday, flight & hotel etc.
Also as part of our package, we were supposed to have a free complimentary room upgrade if available, this did not happen either, we couldn't understand why a room wasn't pre booked and saved for us as we booked a year in advance.
We were told that there was only one room available on level 3, the receptionist informed us that it was a nice room overlooking the pool, but as we had no other choice we had to accept it.
On arriving at the room, we realised it was right next to the lift, but as we were completely exhausted and was informed that there were no other rooms available, we had to take it. Unfortunately as suspected, it was a very, very noisy room with the lift going up & down all night, doors opening and closing constantly, and you could her load voices when people were in the lift and whilst they were waiting of the lift etc., hence this kept us awake all night.
Early in the morning my wife went down to he reception and asked if it was possible that if a another room came available that day could we please move away from the room next to the lift. My wife was surprised to be offered several other rooms including one on a high floor overlooking Disney or the pool, which had been available anyway on the day we arrived according to the receptionist.
With that we then changed room that morning, but was very disappointed by the attitude and the demeanour of the receptionist the on arrival, as she said, that in the future if you require a higher room that we pay $55 per night for the pleasure, that we were annoyed with, as we had an automatic upgrade for free with our booking,
It was not as if we had just walked in or booked in etc, the Booking was made a year in advance, that's the annoying part, they didn't seem to care at all.
Very disappointing, especially when we are booked in for 8 nights.
Great Hotel, but pretty poor customer service & a rude receptionist, who was more interested in clocking of or going home rather than dealing with customers.

Looks like the place was modernized recently. Nice ambience with a nice pool. Liked how they have a pool bar/restaurant which gave it a cool resort feel.
We brought our service dog and although it wasn’t a problem we were told that we couldn’t leave the dog unattended in the room. It kind of took us by surprise because it’s difficult to abide by that completely.
When we stayed at the Hyatt, it wasn’t an issue to periodically leave our service animal alone. Marriott might want to consider being a little bit more flexible.
Otherwise this is a great property and close to Disneyland. Parking was $25 a night which seems to be the going rate in that area.

The location is great, only a ten or so minute walk to Disney which you don't even have to cross the street for. Also the rooms are clean and modern, though I do think bathroom doors should still have locks, even if they are the cool, heavy duty sliding variety, which these did not.
I was a bit annoyed that everything from the wifi to the bottled water was only offered for members of their loyalty program (and the wifi was only given at a reduced rate at that). I can get both these things for free at a nearby Denny's, or at a budget chain hotel, but not at the mid-level that I'm spending hundreds of dollars on for the week? There was an issue where we had to keep turning the air conditioning back on all throughout the night and this seemed to only be partially resolved after we mentioned it - the a/c stayed on, but the room still felt humid - probably because it never displayed the room temperature accurately to keep the place comfortable. Honestly I probably will not stay here again. I don't like feeling like I'm being nickled and dimed for basic amenities and good working air conditioning is crucial for summertime in SoCal.

Your remarks about bathroom doors and the amenities are noted for our future improvements. Regarding your concerns about our loyalty program benefits, they're aimed to provide additional advantages to our members and enhance their stay. The air conditioning incident is regrettable, usually our maintenance colleagues are quick to rectify such concerns. Sorry to hear it didn't meet your expectations this time. Considering another stay with us will give us an opportunity to provide a more seamless experience for you.

Disappointing! Like many others the protests ruined our stay. I support appreciate that people are fighting for what is right for them but the check in staff don’t seem to care how much it affected their customers.
When we checked in we were given a dated note that there were strikes. We were told it was happening that day. No where and no one told us it would be for our full stay. No one mentioned that it started at 5am and would go on all day.
We had benefits of booking this hotel with a travel agency that weren’t honoured. I mentioned these at check out and was promised it would be sorted before I received my final bill. After leaving and returning home I received the final bill with out these benefits. I contacted the Sheraton about these issues. The hotel have replied stating they are sorry I didn’t receive these discounts they had offered due to the impact of the strikes/protest.
We were offered NOTHING due to the strike/protest. We had these pre arranged and just wanted what we were promised.
They told us we would receive reduced maid service during our stay we received none. No one made the beds, emptied the bins, brought up towels, topped coffee/shower products.
Oh but they did knock on our door at 9am on check out day to remind us we were checking out. As it was the only day there wasn’t protests starting at 5am we had a slower start to the day and we’re still packing as we had until 11am.
The hotel room is lovely, the renovation to hotel is gorgeous, location is absolutely perfect great little shop on site and a Starbucks which helped after getting no sleep. but don’t stay until the strikes and protests have finished! And ensure any pre arranged benefits are agreed before handing over any form of payment to the hotel.

Leanne, it's regrettable to hear that your stay was affected by the ongoing labor actions and associated behaviors of our team members. Your feedback is taken in the most serious regard, and we're disappointed that it seems to have impacted the standard of service you were provided. We are especially sorry that you were surprised by the duration of the protests and that the benefits agreed upon with your travel agency were not honored. This falls short of the seamless experience we aim to provide every guest. You deserve nothing less than a peaceful, relaxing stay and a room service that is designed to enhance your experience. We are revisiting all these points to ensure they get the attention they warrant so to rectify these lapses. We are delighted, however, to learn that you appreciated our on-site amenities and the upgrades we've made to the hotel. Despite the inconveniences stated, it is reassuring to know you found the location and our in-house facilities satisfactory, reinforcing our commitment to continuously enhance our offerings. Your grievances were well-received, and we trust there will be a more favorable opportunity to regain your confidence on another occasion. Your experience matters to us, and we're committed to making it right.

We went here for a Disney trip in early September and despite a couple hiccups this hotel really impressed me with how they treated my fiancée and I and the state of the property! We arrived on August 31st and my only critique was it was a little tough having to wait 3 hours till our room was ready but we did arrive early and didn’t expect to get in, it just would’ve been nice as our hotel near Universal welcomed us right at 12pm, but I understand this is probably due to how busy this hotel can get. The pool was available to us, which is where we went to relax till our room was ready and we enjoyed a couple delicious drinks from the pool bar and got in to our room around 3:45pm. We walked to dinner that night at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse and had a great meal. There were another few restaurants quite close by as well as the all you can eat stone fire pizza buffet in the Hotel restaurant for the dinner hours. The hotel restaurant was incredibly impressive and our server was also outstanding! I ended up proposing to my fiancée our first day in Disneyland and I had pre-ordered a bottle of champagne for our room, so we would have it when we went back. Unfortunately there was some miscommunication between sales and the hotel staff so it was missed and took a bit to get organized, but they more then made up for it! We were giving the champagne with a delicious charcuterie board and selection of fresh fruits as a congratulations! We were also given full access to the club lounge for the duration of the trip. The manager handles this amazingly and truly made up for a miscommunication that can happen, but going above and beyond to make things right is rare these days. Our room was cleaned daily and it was a very accommodating room with a king sized bed for two people. We weren’t in the hotel too much, other than to sleep so when we do return we may opt for a bit of a cheaper option, but with this being a special trip this hotel was %100 the right choice. Thank you to all the staff at the front desk and the manager her for making things right and making things very memorable for my fiancée and I!
