The Hyatt House at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center is often celebrated for its family-friendly atmosphere, spacious rooms, and proximity to Disneyland, making it a hit, especially with families. While the location earns high marks for convenience, guests have expressed concerns over noise due to thin walls.
The staff's professionalism and the clean facilities are frequently commended, though opinions on value are split, with some guests disappointed by hidden fees like parking. Amenities, particularly the suites with kitchens and diverse breakfast options, generally receive positive feedback, despite occasional housekeeping oversights.

Detailed Reviews
We recently stayed 5 nights for a Disneyland vacation. Room rates are very competitive for a hotel of this caliber (though we were able to stay using our World of Hyatt points) and the location really can't be beat.
It's about a 10 minute walk to the entrance to the Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks and since that's where we would be spending all our time we didn't need to rent a car or pay for parking (which is now far too common among hotels in the area.
The room was well appointed with a comfy king size bed, flat screen tv (we didn't really use it but it had the capability to cast streaming services from your laptop or phone to the TV), fridge, and microwave. It only had a stand up shower (no tub) but that was fine for us. The sectional couch was nice and would have provided plenty of room to eat a meal had we prepared our own or had room service - overall the room was amble for a couple, but may have been a bit tight for a family as there was really no separation between the bed and the "living room" portion of the room. Our room overlooked the busy street outside, but we really didn't hear any traffic or street sounds. Internal noise insulation could be better as we could hear children running down the hallway outside our room, but it wasn't too intrusive and pretty common for even nice hotels.
The complimentary hot breakfast was much better than most comparably priced hotels - with eggs, hash browns, and sausage each day, plus either french toast, pancakes, or waffles. They also had plenty of cereal, bread for toast, muffins, and bagels, as well as fruit (apples, bananas, oranges) and a DIY parfait bar with yogurt, granola, and lots of fruit options.
It was super convenient to be located adjacent to both a Starbucks and a Walgreens, and while we didn't try it, there was also a small pizza joint which looked pretty good right in the same building. Overall we'd definitely go back again and even if we weren't WoH members this would be super high on my list.

Chef George at the breakfast buffet was so kind and accommodating with my celiac. He made me eggs each morning that were safe for me to eat and it was brought out to me with a bowl of fruit and covered in saran wrap. He did not make me feel like a bother at all and it was so much easier for me knowing I had a breakfast choice and I could eat with my family. The hotel itself was very good and comfortable and clean as well.

You can't beat being this close to the Disneyland Resort! It's at the corner of Harbor Blvd and Katella Ave, so expect a 12 to 15 minutes walk, but parking at the hotel was a breeze and is 3 dollars cheaper than at Disney. The room was great! We booked into a "Den Guestroom | King Bed" and it was well laid out as well and had a nice amount of space for two guests to relax completely without being on top of each other. We will definitely be back!

Stay here only if the rate is low and you want to walk to Disneyland — and don’t need much else.
The hotel itself is sub-par for the Hyatt brand. Very cold and inefficient check-in. Staff was not helpful. We weren’t told about breakfast, so didn’t partake. Only found out about breakfast when encountering other guests on the elevator in the morning bringing plates of food and hoards of bananas back to their rooms. Which was somewhat ghetto.
Room walls are thin and you will be able to hear the TV, music, and large movements from adjacent rooms.
On the bright side, location is convenient if you want to walk to Disneyland, and hotel parking process is seamless (although note there is an additional charge for daily parking).

+1
So I booked Hyatt Place Anaheim originally, but that location was experiencing low occupancy and forwarded my reservation to Hyatt House Anaheim. I was placed in a Studio 2 Queen on a higher floor. I had a feeling of quiet luxury and freedom not normally enjoyed in a hotel of this size. I actually forgot which room I was in (it was very late) and got lost in the maze of hallways.
Stay was eerily quiet and I'm sure all... ten (?) of us guests enjoyed our stay. I had a nice workcation and appreciated that they kept the pool available for us. The compact kitchenette is extremely nifty - just enough for a small family and perfect for individuals.
I understand other customer concerns about hotel value right now, with all the reduced services & amenities. I think the value is about what is expected under a pandemic at a premium location. Also I think service was fast and courteous - hotel director calling me minutes after I booked and then emailing me to assist with an issue.
I think a limited-offer workcation package that includes parking would suit most hotels well right now, especially this one. Overnight Parking is expensive at $22 to sit in a deserted area along Katella and Harbor. Still, based on some nice promotions and the impressive facility, I did not mind doing two nights here and I actually had fun.
This is a very nice hotel. I recommend it if you need some space right now and want to enjoy the Hyatt brand and take advantage of current promotions. I'll probably be back later this month to try the bigger rooms and swim.

We love the Hyatt House in Anaheim. The rooms are am exceptional value, free breakfast is delicious, there's a Starbucks connected to it and it's a 10 minute walk to Disneyland.
This trip we're celebrating our sons 4th birthday. We mentioned it to another guest who was also celebrating a birthday when one of the servers Margarita asked if he would like a small cake for his birthday. A few minutes later one of the managers and her came out with a peanut butter cup and chocolate cupcake (his favorite) and a candle. We all sang Happy birthday and our son was glowing. She even offered to have the cupcake sent up to our room if we didn't want him to eat it then. We had already booked another stay and we'll definitely be back after that.

First time to stay in a hotel since the pandemic hit. Was looking for super clean hotel, and we found it. Based on a stay at Hyatt House in Irvine, CA - we loved that hotel, and was happy to have the same experience with the Anaheim location. Granted the breakfast experience is not the same now (completely understandable) given the current world situation, they did offer a little something. You could grab a bag and fill it up with packaged muffins, granola bars, fruit (orange/banana), carton of apple juice, as well as self serve coffee or tea (which mayyybe they should have had a staff member serving, but not too big of a deal i guess). Masks were required and hand sanitizer were available throughout the hotel. Pool and fitness center were closed (totally on board with this). Overall, excellent stay!

Traveling with toddlers and a teen it was the nice the studio room was set up with no sharp corners for my active boys. The teen had a place to lay down and be near but far enough to relax. I like the kitchen set up with plates, cups, cookware and utensils. We were on the 2nd floor and the first night we had to get use to the noise from cars passing. We come from a quite town so it was different.

Pros:
Friendly staff and clean rooms and common areas. Generally quiet. Good breakfast with plenty of hot and cold food choices. A large number of inexpensive family friendly restaurants nearby. Nicely furnished rooms (however, only one USB charger port in the room - bring your wall plugs).
The things that make this hotel less than ideal for a long Disneyland stay are:
- Distance. The hotel is just barely within what I consider the maximum walking distance to Disneyland. After a few days, it started feeling like it was beyond walking distance. There is no hotel shuttle to Disneyland. I don't like the public ART system which most hotels seem to be using nowadays.
- Breakfast time. Breakfast starts at 7 am on Saturday and Sunday. Magic Morning at Disneyland starts at 7 am on Saturday. If you want to be there at rope drop, you will have to skip Saturday morning breakfast at the hotel. Not a deal breaker, but more of an annoyance.

First off, the location is perfect for a Disneyland trip. It is just a short walk straight up Harbor Blvd to the entrance of the parks. There are also a handful or restaurants within a couple blocks which makes finding food incredibly easy. As for the room, we were in a typical hotel room (no kitchen, just a mini fridge and microwave) with a king bed and a pull-out bed in the sofa. We would have liked to try a room with a kitchen but only the king room was bookable with points. The room was spacious and we were on the top floor facing the Disney Parks so we could see the fireworks perfectly from there which was cool. Apart from the occasional loud car or emergency vehicle (out of the hotel's control), the room was very quiet. I never heard anything coming from neighboring rooms during our entire 6 night stay. The room and the entire property was very clean and well kept. The breakfast was great to have available before heading to Disney and the breakfast area is very large so even when it was very busy, there were always tables available and the food was constantly replenished. The only area of improvement I could suggest for the breakfast is more variety throughout the week. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and everyone from the breakfast staff to the housekeeping staff were always ready to help and always had a smile on their face. We plan on coming back to Disneyland again in the next few years and when we do, we will plan on staying here again.
