it is a very very clean place , room and bathroom were spotless , rooms are well furnished and comfortable Breakfast was good , with many choices Service was good and very courteous staff and helpful nice location
I'm switching from Hilton membership to Hyatt because staff is way exceptionally friendly, Rooms are nice and the accommodated our needs easily (feather allergy). Breakfast is great too. Reasonably priced for superior luxury and space. Most importantly, air smells great in rooms and common spaces.
Staff were professional and friendly. Requests were actioned promptly. Rooms a very good size and spacious. Cleaned to a very high standard. The location was perfect for me and my family with amenities and restaurants close by.
We were very happy with this hotel. The location was super convenient; a 10-minute walk to Foggy Bottom/GWU metro stop, which gave us a direct route to all the sites we wanted to visit. There were also lots of restaurants nearby -- with a range of cuisines. The area felt very safe to walk around in the evening. The room was clean and contemporary. The bed was comfortable. The small separation between the bed and the small seating area was nice, so that my husband could read on his phone in the morning while I slept in. Shower and bathroom all good. The only minor thing we did not like was the frosted door to the bathroom; If you needed turn on the bathroom light in the middle of the night, it disturbed your partner because the light shone through into the room. Kind of a dumb design. The main lobby area was attractive. One night we had a drink at the bar; those offerings were pretty limited, though, so don't choose this hotel for its bar. :) I found the free breakfast to be just okay, but partly because I have some dietary restrictions. I wasn't bothered by that because it was what I expected. Two mornings we ate that breakfast because it was fast and convenient. The decaf coffee was actually pretty good. My husband found the gym to be pretty well equipped. We did not use the pool, but it was just long enough (about 12 yards) that I might have been able to make it work for some lap swimming if I had gotten up early enough. Water was cool, which would have been fine for lap swimming but probably chilly for families.…
If you need a place to stay that is clean, efficient, and the rooms are big and comfortable. This is the place. I had a meeting at another hotel down the street and I am glad I stayed at Hyatt. It was really an overnight success for me.
This Hyatt Place is ideally located in a bustling neighborhood -- close to downtown, Capitol Hill, the National Mall, and Georgetown. It is a completely renovated hotel with professional, responsive staff and great amenities. The public lounge areas to meet or get work done on the first floor were super helpful in terms of getting individual work done, as well as meeting or socializing with colleagues. At the same time, my room had a comfortable sofa and desk that were great for getting work done and conducting Zoom meetings. Tatte is one door down from the hotel with outdoor eating -- fabulous pastry, sandwiches, and other food. This was so much better than I expected!
Great location enabling us to enjoy GEORGETOWN and downtown major monuments. Special thanks for all staff who took care of us and especially MD Sattar who was especially kind to change our room for a cooler aircon. Also special thanks to GM Atif Mahmood who made changes to our check in dates. Great team especially front desk staff. My daughter even got a couple of cookies. THANK YOU GUYS AND KEEP IT UP!
I had a quick business trip to DC, meeting in the West End. Hyatt Place on M St. NW is a very quiet, clean, spacious hotel. Everything was perfect, from check-in to the room to breakfast to other services. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
