Hi! Are these rooms newly renovated? Also is there a bar in the lobby?
Hello Britty123. In June of this year, the Willard InterContinental completed an $18 million dollar refurbishment of our guest rooms and suites! We're immensely pleased with the finished product and hope you will be too! In regards to your question regarding bars on property. We have two. One is the Round Robin Bar, one of the most historic bars in Washington. The other is called Le Bar which is located inside our restaurant, Cafe du Parc. We look forward to welcoming you to the Willard InterContinental.

"We paid extra for the "view" which was a disappointment."
"Water was offered in the room everyday. The bed was very comfortable too. Can't say enough about the quality. "
"Work with the front desk, ask for upgrades."
"Ask for a room that has been renovated. And do not expect that an 11th floor room will have a view."
"The room was so hot at night that neither my wife or I could sleep. The sheets also felt sub-par for such an expensive property. "
