We have been staying at the Phoenix Park Hotel for business travel for many years and being an inexperienced event planner Janice and Cat worked with me every step of the way to make sure our stay was seamless. Janice and Cat helped make sure we received an affordable rate, and went out of their way to explain industry terms and how to best navigate our time in the city. The hotel itself is always clean and the service staff are tremendous at helping ensure you want to return to the Phoenix Park Hotel next time you're in Washington, D.C.
It is always such a pleasure to stay at this hotel – by far, my favorite in the D.C. The staff is always so courteous, well informed, and helpful. They make the experience seamless. And location. Its walking distance to everything!
Excellent. Very good location. Close to the city attractions. 150 meters from Union Station. Comfortable and above all the staff, especially Darren and Michelle, made my stay perfect. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate and cold water.
On the occasion of our USA trip 2022 we stayed at this property, we were able to appreciate the courtesy, the absolute availability of all the staff. Large, spacious and very clean rooms. Recommended to everyone for its proximity to the main tourist attractions and monuments of the city. It will also be chosen in the future for our next trips.
Brilliant all round. Excellent location for walking the Mall. Super clean and comfortable. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Really comfy bed and strong (much needed AC). The complimentary tea and coffee was a nice touch. Great atmosphere in the Irish pub in the evenings. Definitely would stay again and recommend.
This place was excellent. We arrived mid-week at around noon for a one night stay & r room was READY for us!! Location is great as it is like a couple hundred yards from Union Station and DC Circulator Mall & Georgetown lines have stops a block away each. Rooms r clean, quiet, and major city sized (not huge). Staff is very friendly. Only strangeness is that ice & vending machines are only located on specific floors. But on 2nd floor is free coffee & tea 24x7
I stayed at the Phoenix Park Hotel for 11 days during a trial. I loved it. The room was very comfortable and the staff was great. I definitely recommend it. Great DC location to walk to the Capital and monuments and museums
Great location (near Union Station), nice hotel, rooms were small but nice, bedding very comfortable. Stayed on 3rd floor alley side and had minor street noise until about 11PM. Higher floors should be quieter. Staff was pleasant and helpful.t Major advantage is in hotel restaurant & bar - exceptional for all three meals.
This is a beautiful, historic building, remodeled to offer modern conveniences and amenities while maintaining its charm. Service was excellent; staff was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Mychelle at guest services was particularly helpful, and helped me find some wonderful eateries that the locals frequent. Little touches - in-room umbrellas for rainy days and guest robes add to the experience. Location was perfect for either work or sight-seeing. (0.5 mi from Capitol and 1 block from Union Station). I plan on coming back with my family!
I love the Phoenix Park. It's cozy, CLEAN, the staff are really nice (too nice sometimes, good thing), and it's close to everything. Eye shot of yhe Capitol. I get VIP treatment when I go and when just the wife and I go to DC we stay at Phoenix Park. Try this place for yourself and you'll see what I'm talking about.
