Many small interior balconies for quiet solo or small team work with a view. Good bar, standard food, Starbucks and small store for necessities and snacks. Excellent concierge and front desk. Upper floor facing Massachusetts Ave is ideal location.

This hotel is awesome! Great staff and the rooms were very clean. I really enjoyed hanging out in the lobby. The staff always checked to make sure you're fine. The food is fantastic. Home away from home!

I stayed here since the conference was held in this hotel’s enormous conference area (4 distinct below ground large floors). Although very pricey I found the room well appointed and clean. What I appreciated was the quiet at night and morning despite having people on either side

I'm reading reviews on here going back to 2015 that say the same thing I'm gonna say here- your vending is always empty. I have been walking around with a sprained ankle for 20 minutes now trying to find any liquid of any kind in a vending machine. Seriously how hard is it to

Great location, very clean and unique lobby! Not bad all. The concierge has some wonderful, friendly people who are always smiling and ready to help. If I'm ever there again, I will likely stay here again.

0 Rasika West End (Indian) is really good - not sure about groups; Unconventional Diner is just a few blocks. Reservations needed for both. Finn & Porter is decent. Courduroy is nearby too. Check out Tom Sietema's dining guide on WAPO (he's the local food critic). Just google: "Tom Sietsema DC dining guide" and the Fall guide should near the top. I try a lot of places he recommends when in DC. Also, The Dignitary in the hotel has GREAT bourbons and the breakfast restaurant there is average but a bit pricey.

I guess it depends on your definition of walking distance. When in DC, I like to walk a lot. I always recommend Rasika (Indian), but it is a few blocks away as is Chinatown.
