The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are extremely spacious. The customer service is over the top good... Lyle & Teddy, in particular, did an incredible job of making us feel as welcome as possible and they us quickly forget what was otherwise a terrible travel day (flight delays and cancellations). We cannot wait to come back and thank you, to the remarkably warm staff, for making it such a great trip!
My husband and I live in Northern Virginia and our children are finally old enough to stay home for the night. We came into DC to celebrate our 21st anniversary and stayed at The St Gregory Hotel. From the moment we dropped off the car with Marco, we knew it was the right hotel choice. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to make our stay special and memorable. Jassem checked us in with courtesy and genuine geniality. Lyle sent up a bottle of wine and helped track down some nonfeather pillows. In the morning, the staff remembered us and welcomed us with smiles and warmth. Beyond the staff, we found the hotel’s style to be chic and modern and the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. We will be returning to this establishment.
I had a beautiful view from the balcony in my room. The hotel staff was so personable; they gave me a hand-written note when I checked in and delivered macaroons to my room as a gift. I received a $25 voucher for breakfast, which was delicious.
Our time at the hotel was nothing short of fantastic. Beautiful facilities and even better staff. Lyle and teddy are rockstars and and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. They even upgraded our room as a courtesy after they heard we just got married. Can’t wait to come back
Melissa was excellent and provided amazing service throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to help and was very kind and fixed our issues. The rest of the staff is also wonderful and helpful…..
Spent a special wedding weekend here for a friend and was treated to amazing, thoughtful service from the manager, Lyle Ochoa. He saw to all our needs — and some in our party had many needs, but he did it with such speed and care. Had great service from the restaurant bar team as well. Ron was quick with our coffees and the whole bar staff so kind. I would definitely come here again!
The entire reason this hotel has earned 5-stars is due to Lyle at the front desk. He was the most attentive, helpful employee I have ever encountered! His restaurant suggestions were spot-on, he was extremely helpful whenever we needed anything, and he NEVER acted annoyed (although I'm sure we were a bit annoying, at times). After a particularly hot day of sight-seeing, he could see we were hot, red-faced, and tired, so he ran 2 fresh, cold waters over to us on our way to the elevator, reminding us to stay hydrated. BRAVO, LYLE!! My only suggestion is to bring your own pillows because they are extremely thick and firm, so I woke up each morning with a stiff neck and (sometimes) headache. Also, it was a little strange to have a fridge in our suite but no microwave.
Originally I booked this hotel through booking.com and for some unknown reason my reservation was cancelled when I arrived at the hotel to check in. Kadian and Lyle were very helpful in rectifying the situation and Lyle price matched booking’s prices and reserved a room for me right on the spot, soothing away any fears I had. They also handled the valet/parking fee, which I was extremely grateful for. The room Lyle set me up with was amazing and had everything I could think of, and a few things I would never have expected in a room. The “living room” area was beautiful and thought out and the bathroom was very clean and had hot water in command. The lighting in the bathroom as well as in other parts of the room were lovely and the view from the window was amazing. The bed was soft and comfortable and I had a god nights rest. I totally enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come again. Thank you Kadian and Lyle for helping make my stay in DC a wonderful experience!! 10/10 would recommend!…
I was staying at the fontainebleau Miami hotel, all of a sudden at 3:30 am. The fire alarm went on, and we decided to leave after security gave all clear, because my child was scared. I drove 17 hours straight to St. Gregory Hotel Washington DC, hoping I would be able to add an extra night, due to the situation. I am very grateful to the manager Lyle, and his amazing team Marco and Kafian for there hospitality. They were able to accommodate my needs. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I would 100 percent come back. I am very thankful!
The St. Gregory is a hip boutique hotel in an excellent location with friendly and accommodating staff. As business travel plans change by the minute these days, I let the manager Lyle know I would need some extra time and space for all my meetings. He was more than supportive in making sure my needs were met. The best perk is that your extra hotel fees go towards your daily food and bev at their cute and tasty restaurant. Did I mention the afternoon cookies and tea and their use of bamboo plates and reusable cups instead of plastic/disposable! bravo! The location was excellent, walking distance to downtown, DuPont and Georgetown. The West End Triangle and the Tatte bakery across the street also perfect. Thanks again Lyle Marco for the hospitality.
