Avoid this hotel if you want to enjoy staying in Druskininkai. We had family room in glass building for £220 per night. Stayed 3 nights. Very disappointed as first day we had an issues with the electric wire failure. We had reported were is no power in the room. The staff member arrived investigated the issue and told that microwave has short cut. So they had to remover the microwave (bear in mind we had 2 kids 5 years old so we needed to heat the food during the stay). After that no one came in to check if the issue has been sorted. I had to switch the power every time we enter our room my self in the switch box. The air conditioner was noisy and old making banging noise and you had to switch it off because you can't put the kids sleep in the night. So the rooms been very hot during the night. But the worst is the bed mattress OMG.... it looks like the mattress been there from 18th century and it never has been changed it has all the stains all ove it has been very hard to sleep and our backs has been broken straight away in the fisrt night .... when you think you have to sleep for another 2 nights it make yor brains just boiling... brekfast very poor cold and I would say more likely continental then brekfast in 4 star hotel better to use coffe shops around for the brekfast if you want to have nice and warm brekfast. And the last think that make our stay uncomfortable. Before check out we wanted take a shower and gess what there is no water ....I reported to reception and they just ignored and said but you checking out why you need water. :)The reception at the check in was welcome and with the smile and quick. The reception at the check out hosted by Jonas wow wow... rude unwelcome and don't care about any costumer approaching his desk. When we told him all the issues we had during the 3 night stay. He just handed the bill to pay and said good bye!! No sorry for any inconvenience caused or any appreciates with the problems... please avoid this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay for this price. I am sure were is many hotels around with the better service can be provided. Will never stay again in this hotel and will not recommend to no one. Keep away your money from this hotel people!!!!…
We arrived today to a beautiful location. How sed that we discovered that -no worm water in room -no air condition function -no possibilities to call the reception. Very bad experience. We will leave tomorrow . This is anti climex to tourism.
Terrible experience, do not go to spa. I staid in hotel for 3 days. The room was spacious, but that’s just it. The rest is outdated and not even clean enough - found hairs in bath tub. The SPA is horrible and not safe. The massage specialist, who offered kobido massage, hardly knew what it was. But the worst was safety and hygiene. Massage specialist put the face mask on properly only after remark and stank of sweat horribly - I suffered through the massage and regretted for it. The breakfast is average, but do not go for lunch or dinner in the same restaurant. There are many places next to hotel, which serves far better food. The fish, which I ordered for lunch, was hardly edible. Avoid staying and do not go to spa.
Booked a 4 night stay with Spa Access. Room was large with separate bedroom and bathroom was large too. Had a balcony facing the river so far so good. Breakfast: they provided us with a paper where we had to select what we wanted for breakfast (so don’t expect a buffet breakfast - they say this is due to covid restrictions which I find hard to believe as the hotel I stayed at prior to this had buffet breakfast) I am British so I selected as they called it a classic English breakfast, now everyone knows that a English breakfast has the following ingredients: bacon, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans, toast and pork sausages. Well what I was served was not a classic English breakfast there was no bacon and no toast and when I asked the waiter where’s the bacon I received the comment I’m not the chef I just serve what is given to me. Very very impolite. So that already was a bad start to my day. Spent the rest of the day out of the hotel and when I returned went for dinner in the restaurant ordered a cessar salad which was good and for desert I order chocolate fudge cake with ice cream straight off the menu only to be told they don’t have any. For gods sake if it’s on the menu make sure you have it. My honest opinion if you select this hotel the room will be great but everything else will be a misery. Room only is the way to go as you can have a short 5 min walk and get a full self service buffet breakfast from Grand Spa Lietuva hotel. Costing €7.00 Will not be staying here again and will not be recommending it to anyone.…
The room was good. The restaurant staff was friendly. In the bathroom there were used shampoo and body lotion bottles. In our package there was included pool, sauna and jacuzzi services, but the jacuzzi was closed(nobody informed us). The receptionist doesn't know what is included in the breakfast and didn't ask for our documents during the check in. The restaurant is without working hours. As per waiter decision when to close.
I stayed in Druskininkai Europa Royale for 1 night as I had a business event nearby. This means that I did not get the chance to use the spa facilities available and the review is about the lodging only. What I would commend is the service, the staff was very attentive and although their ability to speak English was below average, they really made me feel welcome and helped me with everything I needed. Breakfast was also good, plenty of choices there. The room itself was very basic - clean but a bit outdated. The bathroom looked like it needs some renovation in the near future. Nothing was broken but everything seemed a bit tired (especially the bathtub). So all in all an average experience - decent but uncharacteristic lodging in a beautiful town of Druskininkai.
We gad just one night in the hotel and the room is really basic, bathroom doors broken. Bought dinner coupons and got only ravioli for that. Stuff spoke poor English and it was hard to communicate.. SPA area was with cold jacuzzi and broken steam sauna. :( Is that Royal?
Hotel is located in the center of city, which is one of the most exiting places in Lithuania. Hotel has connection with the largest SPA center in the city. SPA is newly renovated, it is really nice place for rest. Pools, massages, saunas, etc. are available.
Very good location in the city - central street. The room is very small with two single beds in the middle and a very narrow passage on both sides, a table in the niche, but can only be used from the bed. The bathroom door closes badly, making it feel a strong odor of sewerage throughout the room. Underneath the table is an empty mini bar with a broken door. It could be a single or an economy twin, but certainly not a standard double room. We stay for two days only but nobody even tried to make up the room. Breakfast choices are very limited, there are no ordinary sausages or fried bacon, the restaurant is too small - people with sad faces wander between tables, desperately looking around to sit down and, of course, white but dirty tablecloths that staff has no possibility to replace ... Three small stars for evaluation would be just ...…
The only good thing about this hotel is that there is a bridge connecting the hotel with the aquapark, so you can go there in your bathrobe. This hotel should be rated 2/3 stars at most due to the following reasons: - rooms are rather basic; - They only give soap, shampoo and shower gel for toiletries. I asked if we could get toothbrushes and we were charged €2 per toothbrush set. All 4* hotels give such toiletries for free. Apparently, you could buy slippers too (those that any decent hotel would give you for free) - There was no complimentary water or even a minibar in our room. You can buy water from the reception (see photo). Honestly, even 2* hotels give water these days... - Safe didn’t work but since we were staying for 1 night only it wasn’t worth getting it fixed - Staff at the reception were rude and not interested in providing a good customer service at all. - Breafkast was also quite basic. What’s sad though is that the hotel has huge potential, the building itself is beautiful and it could become a great hotel with the right management in place. I will not stay here again. …
