Perfect location close to Aqua park. Long walk if you arrive by bus, hotel is located 1,5 km form bus station. Large breakfast, however not too many choices. Reception accepts late arrival even when hotel website says the opposite. Small bathroom for a triple room.
Nice food, good helpfull staff. Nice quality procedures, especially the kinesitherapist procedure . Hotel recently refurbished. Everything in one building. Recommended, will return .Central location to city center.
Very old interier, seem like 80's :) Beds are very hard, small room,do not fit for familly with small childrens. Good location, all entertainment are near the hotel. Fits good for one night stay,do not fit for real holiday.
Location is super, near all main atractions, I like that, Double room is too small for 2 persons, but for 1 person and few nights was ok. Breakfast area was very busy The staff was not very quick to add more food. It seems that service quality was better last year . Anyway hotel is busy all the time and you need reservation in advance in summer time.
Stayed in August 2016 in a family room with half board option. Room quite adequate Food was good, and the lady in the restaurant is very helpful when stocks run low. This is a good value hotel in a good location for Druskininkai attractions, and you get discounts for Snow arena, Waterpark, and nearby sanatorium treatments. Free car parking Would definitely stay again
The location is very good, close to the all main city atractions, aqua park, Nemunas river, city centre and parks. The rooms are simple, but have small fridge and kettle, breakfast mote or less ok. free Wi Fi - ok. For hotel guests some discount for aqua park and other attractions is available. The hotel is quite big, bussy and noisy, personal friendly, speaks Lithuanian, Russian, Polish but I am not sure about English. Price for room is reasonable. But don t expect any luxury, this is bugget hotel.
Central located, aquapark is 100 meters away, built years ago. Some renovations in rooms but hall and etc are lod fashioned. Bkrekfast is full, but as for me not so tasty. Good for a short stay to visit an fquapark at a low budget
Occasionally I visit a hotel and the hotel receptionists do not speak English. But when that happens, at least they make some effort. They usually can find someone in the hotel who can help or they call someone. At Hotel Dainava not only do they not speak English, but their attitude is basically "if you do not speak Russian or Lithuanian, it is your problem,". Actually, I found that a few of the young girls at the restaurant do speak some English, but the reception staff do not seek their help. I had to call someone on my mobile who speaks Russian in order to get translation help with the receptionists. If you are an English speaker and do not have someone who can help you, this is probably not the right hotel for you. Other problems? Internet is bad. It is constantly disconnecting. Also breakfast was terrible, or at least not to my liking. None of the usual stuff available (no eggs, pancakes, fresh rolls, etc.) The good? It is cheap. It is close to Aqua Park. Rooms were small but clean and in good condition. In the winter the rooms were well heated. This is a 2 star hotel with a 2 star customer service attitude. I hope that in the future, management will consider making some improvements. They can start by hiring receptionists who speak English.…
Stayed in summer 2014 Just had a room, which was fine for the price. Good venue for Druskininkai attractions, and a cheaper way to visit the waterpark if you don't want to spend all day there. (Otherwise I would recommend the AquaMeduna/Waterpark special deal) Car parking available.
We had very good family vacation in Druskininkai, in hotel Dainava. Everything was very good: big, clean room with balcony, full breakfast, helpful personal (special thanks to masseur!). This hotel is very close to aquapark! I highly recommend this hotel for travelers!
