Self Check in was organized very easily. The room is properly prepared. Since I needed to change the room before my stay, the hotel arranged a room of a suitable size for me outside of booking (through which I made the reservation). I felt like a welcome guest. Breakfast is not included in the price, but there are so many cafes around that it is more exciting to find a suitable place for you.

My visit in June was the third time I had stayed in Hotel Pils. On this occasion the standard of service provided by the chambermaid was not acceptable. She did not made up the bed for the second night of my visit. Ignoring the chambermaid's failure in her duties, the room was of a good standard as was the en suite shower room. Breakfast was reasonable but could be improved with little more variety of food on offer. The evening meal we had on the second night was good and the restaurant staff are efficient and friendly. The reception staff, likewise, were efficient and helpful. The hotel has an adjoining car park. The hotel deserves a higher rating but it is unfortunate that one member of staff can damage it's reputation.

Small, but quiet hotel. Room was clean and cozy. It was nice, we had a bath in a bathroom. There was no big choice in the breakfast offer. Very small restaurant. Staff from the kitchen walked around the restaurant all the time.

We visited just for a coffee. Service was decent. The coffee weak though very cheap. A decent (small) covered area of outside seating, intended I guess mostly for smokers. All fine but nothing special

Very Nice, homely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. I was upgraded to have a suite. Room was clean, some furnitures were little worn though. Hotel has small Bar/restaurant where I had breakfast Every morning. Selection was modest But enough and very tasty. I would recommend this hotel. Suits also for families.

We had booked a room for two and got a 1,20m bed, bit cozy especially if you are travelling as friends. The room smelled when we got in and had to open the window for which you have to step on a chair as there is just a window nearby the ceiling. There has been toothpaste at the frame of the bathroom door. Worst was the bed which was squeaking with EVERY movement. We mentioned all this to the staff at the reception (who were friendly) they promised to inform the management.

The hotel has spacious clean rooms for a budget hotel. Te staff of the hotel is very helpfull and eager to make everything comfortable for their guests. The restaurant that comes with the hotel has a rather limited choice but the quality of the food is really good.

Nice small hotel with medieval atmosphere (there are knights, armors and medieval pictures everywhere). Good for family trips. I was there with my wife and son (9 months old) and we had nice time. Service was good. Cons: 1. There was too hot in our room. I set temperature to minimum, but still it was a little bit uncomfortable to sleep. 2. Breakfast could have been better.

Hotel is pretty nice Rooms are good size and very clean It's actually a 3 star hotel but the care of the details and the nice atmosphere is not bad at all One disadvantage is the lack of elevator which could pose problems if people cannot walk on stairs Breakfast is not excellent unfortunately

We stayed in the suite for one night so we could go to the Sigulda Bobsleigh. The Hotel was clean and comfortable and very close to all the attractions. We couldn't fault the Hotel and the Breakfast was fine. It is in a perfect place for exploring the area and close to the Bobsleigh. We loved the area and it was nice to be away from the Tourists in the Capital. We will definitely be back.
