The breakfast is very basic. We always had to wait for sausages, pancakes, ham. There was no toaster, only bread for toasting.

They say the sauna is free for hotel quests until 11 аm, but it is an absolute lie! You will have to pay for it. Spa was one of the reasons we chose this hotel and we got nothing.

The good things about Navalis - clean rooms, comfortable beds, great location. The breakfast was pretty good, although it would benefit from a greater selection of fruit.

The issues that cost it more stars:
The bathroom - only wall-mounted soap dispensers by the sink and in the shower -- make the effort to get some nice bath products and your guests will be happier. Also the tub - I'm 5'7", and it was a bit of a climb to get in and out of the tub. For a smaller woman, it would be very difficult.
Noise - the hotel is on a busy street. Getting insulated windows could reduce the noise in the room. I am a city dweller, so I am used to noise, but this was exceptionally loud until about midnight.
Window shades - in my room, they were very difficult to operate, which is a problem during the summer when the sun does down at 11 p.m. and comes up before 4 a.m.
Bedding - it was clean, but nothing special. Invest in nice sheets and fluffy pillows.
Minibar - there was none, nor was there any bottled water.

We stayed 2nights as we were on a tour. Room was comfortable and clean. Had everything except a safe in the room. We had breakfast which we found to be very nice. Had most things you would expect at breakfast. All staff were very pleasant and helpfull. Hotel is quiet as we had a room at the back. 15 mins walk to old town. Would stay again.

Disgusting stained carpet (did not take shoes off - gross!), pubic hair in drinking glass, filthy bathroom and loud noise from the street all night. Hotel promised to refund money for the nights I decided to not stay there (they agreed that the room was not acceptable) but almost two months later they are completely ignoring all emails and phone calls from me and from booking.com. Dishonest, disgusting place.

You are better off staying in an actual hostel, you will get the same amenities without the awful staff.

Piece of advice: when you complain about your room, get it IN WRITING that they will give you a refund. Even if you book through booking.com.

The issues began before even walking into the room, the carpets in the hallways were stained and old but not nearly as bad as in the room itself. In the room, the first thing the pops out at you is the million different colours of spills, splashes and, what I can only assume, bodily liquids. The furniture was old and comically broken - I don’t think there was a single thing in the room that did not have a broken part. Soap and shampoo come in filthy old dispensers, very similar to hostels in Thailand. But the pubic hair in the drinking glass was the last straw.

I complained the next morning (because I arrived at 3am - late flight). The lady at the desk was polite but offered no solutions. I was hurrying to my grandmother’s funeral service so did not take it any further then. I came back in the afternoon and complained again when I saw the room was not even cleaned since I complained! The concierge pretended to not even remember talking to me in the morning and went up to the room to check it out. She agreed the room was not clean and not as described. I wrote a complaint on a piece of paper that she gave me and she said the hotel would contact me in two weeks. It’s been two months, I’ve written to them twice and booking.com have emailed and phoned them several times on my behalf. They completely ignore the emails and when called, tell you to email them instead!

I was booked to stay with my family ( 5 people ) for today 17th August. As we travel from UK , our flights were cancelled 2 months ago, because of Covid 19. I informed the hotel what has happened, and was asking them kindly to cancel my booking free of charge as it was at a non refundable rate. My request was refused and I was only offered to rebook my stay, but as I am in Klaipeda every 10 years, that would not make any sense for me. When I asked for the name and email of the General Manager- that information was never provided. I emailed to their central office a month ago, however, I still haven't heard anything from them. I was charged 100% cancellation for my booking, which I would understand, if I cancelled our flights myself, however, it was not at all my decision. The hotel management could resell this room easily, as I gave them 2 months notice. It was already disappointing not to be able to see my family, but when the hotel is taking advantage of this unfortunate situation, it just seems morally wrong for me.

Good location, provides car parking service in a closed parking lot. The hotel hallways are dirty and needs deep cleaning desperatelly. The rooms stank, but sinks, surfaces were clean. TV did not work in our room, door needed fixing.

Very poor hotel. It looks nice from outside as well as in the pictures yet inside is really not what expected. Extremely dirty carpets, furniture. Rooms are very old and dirty. No way this should be considered a 4 star hotel. Would not visit again and would not recommend to anyone. Location is not great as well. Possible to find way better deals for such price.

Our room had burned lamps, old bathrobes and phone was not connected to the socked. The shower gel smelled like toilet cleaning liquid. Stains on the carpet and loud music from the restaurant downstairs.
