We have just spent there one night on our way to Neringa and we really loved it.
The hotel is small. Our room was reasonable big (not huge), spotless and nicely decorated. Receptionist lady was charming. Their free Wi Fi worked well in our room.
Hotel isn't located in the centre, but it took us around 5-7 minutes to get to the centre by car including parking . Bed was a bit soft for me, but anyway we had a great sleep.
Breakfast dishes selection was modest but consisted of fresh local products.
Overall our stay was short but we really enjoyed it.

This hotel provides everything you could possibly wish for, except the central location. But if you have a car, the distance won't cause you any difficulties. And even if you don't, it will take you about 20 minutes to get to the centre on foot. And I don't even mention buses (the stop is about 200 m from the hotel).

The building is situated a bit to the side from the road (so look for the arrow, especially if you are driving; the arrow is present and is quite adequate), that's why the surroundings are quiet and relaxing, on one hand, and offer to you the possibility for shopping at the market nearby, on the other hand.

The hotel is both homey and luxurious to a certain degree: it gives out a feeling of a manor - a simple one, but a manor still. The rooms are in dark wood, but there are enough details in white or silver or light brown to make the darkness of the furniture look not oppressive, but rich and reliable.

The bathroom was flawless - I just wished there were more hangers.

The breakfast proved to be worthy of a manor, indeed.

The staff was kind and helpful, as if to strengthen the impression.

All in all, a very enjoyable experience - and a place to stay at next time.

We spent two nights here while visiting Kleipeda and surroundings. Hotel is further away from city center but has a lot of stores nearby. No restaurant close by :-(
Lady at a recpetion was very nice and helped us with everything. It was clean and calm. AC in room was amazing as we ere there in very hot times. Breakfast was OK, not very rich but offered good choice. Coffee was not very good. Overall I am glad to choose Vetra Hotel.

Son's birthday was organized onboard classic train. Because the schedule was quite late, we decided to choose Vetra (literally Gale/Storm) hotel to stay for a night. So, stay was great: location is easily reachable by city bus 8, the staff is friendly, room is comfortable with perfect beds (usually beds in hotels are too soft)! The breakfast was for extra fee, but it was worth it. The little drawback was something periodically buzzing throughout the night. The price is also pretty high. But we think we will choose this place next time when we decide to breath our port-city air again!

My room was on first floor, two beds even though I traveled alone. Staff very helpful. Breakfast lacking for a vegetarian, but ok otherwise. If you can't climb stairs, this may be extremely difficult place for you. Very steep stairs leading into hotel. The staff helped me go up and down. Room was large enough, bed comfortable, bathroom clean and stocked. Supermarket across the street with bus stop in front. Buses, #8, come every few minutes right to center of Old Town area by the river. In front of the hotel are many bakeries, fruit stands, some sort of flea market, and other shops. Easy to pick up food, drinks, snacks. Huge shopping center on bus #8 route, about five minutes from hotel in direction of Old Town Klaipeda. I would stay here again because it was quite pleasant. Lovely garden area in front of hotel for eating, smoking, chatting. One night a group was quite loud, but otherwise, no problems.

very old style hotel . but really comfortable and quiet. Workers are smiling and you feel welcome.
Breakfast is standart but there is a lot of choices.
The restaurant offer a lot of dishes . But ask the menu in lituanian lingage because in the english menu is less choice.

Rustic Style Hotel in Klaipeda. Very quite, although a little far away from the city centre. If you don't mind the decoration is very nice and cheap. Some improvement needed on the maintenance of the building.
