An excellent place to stay. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful, and the room was a great size and included basic kitchen/cooking/dining facilities as well, and was very quiet. Breakfast was included and offered delicious cooked and continental options. The Armenian restaurant attached had such a vast menu I could have eaten there every night for a week and still not run through all the options. It is a short walk into the centre of Klaipeda and Old Town, with a shopping mall 10mins away. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again when next back.

This hotel was chosen due to limited options at the time of booking and proved to be a good choice. The room was a spacious small apartment with a living area and cooking area - perfect if you want to eat in. The big bed meant a good nights sleep was easy. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the main street in Kaipeda - along a busy road, so not too far is you want to eat out. The hotel has a nice restaurant area and looked to be hosting functions some of the time I was there. The menu is Armenian themed, which in my opinion, was quite limited, but if this is your thing, then it's perfect. This hotel is well worth checking if you are staying Klaipeda

We stayed at Ararat Hotel for several days in July 2022 and enjoyed our stay very much.
Since we were guests for a week, we were glad that we had a very spacious room with a kitchenette (although we hardly used it).
The room was very clean and quiet as it was at the back of the hotel.

The breakfast offered a wide enough variety (sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs, rolls, honey, jam, cookies, etc.) so that we had enough variety throughout the day.
The hotel is located on a thoroughfare which is not very busy. However, we can't comment on how noisy the rooms on this side are as our room was at the back.

In general, the hotel has a very good location: you can walk to the old town in about 10 minutes and to the port in 20 minutes.
Parking spaces are available at the house.
In the hotel itself there is an Armenian restaurant with very good cuisine where we had dinner twice
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The hotel staff is exeptional, I’ve never in my life (in any country or any hotel) experienced such friendly front desk staff. They were very polite, helpful, supportive. It’s worth staying here just for that.

The room (business apartment) was very clean, a little bit outdated, not modern, but the cleanness was 10/10.

The breakfast was good, wide choise, and a very nice outside area to have it at.

The hotel interior is very cozy.

The location was good, just 10 minutes away from the main street, which is perfect if you want to reach the center fast, but also have quitness in the evening.

My stay in this hotel is rather mixed. When I checked-in, the staff who admitted she was new to the hotel had difficulty understanding and speaking in English. I asked where the aircon swtich is but she could not comprehend and dont know what I meant. When I went back after dinner, another staff was manning the reception and told me there is no aircon turned on. I have to open my windows. However since my room is located at the back and in front of parking, I can hear the cars parking, even if they assign a room at the other side, it is still noisy with windows open. Was not able to sleep due to noise outside. The room looks like a hostel, quite old, smells woody. The mattress spring seems like giving up. The water pressure at the bathroom is weak, will take some time to finish shower. The room is not well lighted up well, bit dim. And I also read that the park in front was a former cemetery. In terms of location, it is quite a walk to old town (20minutes or more), have to take a bus. The reason I gave 2 not 1 star is because of its affordable price and a good breakfast. If I would stay again at Klaipeda I would not stay here, maybe Ill add a few bucks for more comfort,

We stayed there two nights. Rooms are really big and nice, even equipped with a kitchen. You have got enough place. In the first room the bed was too soft for two people and we asked for another room, we got . Breakfast is okay.... car parking is available in front and behind the hotel

Really great hotel. Of course it's not that new or modern, but nevertheless great. Room was large, bed - comfortable, had living room and kitchen areas. Kitchenette had all the apliances needed. Room did not have AC, but we didn't need it. I guess they regulate temperature in the room centrally. There was no noise, staff very friendly. Hotel not very far from old town or ferry (about 20 min). Would definetely recommend for others and come back again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay in Ararat ApartHotel. This hotel is located in the quiet street, easily accessible from all directions: either arriving from the sea-port, or from the highway, or from the Old town.
We chose the business class deluxe double room in the 3rd floor, which was really large, spacious, very clean and comfortable, featured the modern interior with the cozy lighting and the dominant color of Burgundy wine, looking exactly as in the photos. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen (including the electric kettle, cups, plates, glasses, etc.), also a fridge with a minibar. All equipment is new and good quality. The bathroom is large too, with a good shower and all bathroom amenities.
The car parking is located in the hotel inner yard, and is included into the price. The WI-FI internet in the room is fast and free of charge too.
I guess the hotel was almost fully booked, because the car parking was full, but we haven't heard any noise at all, what let us deem that the sound isolation is faultless.
Actually such apartment could perfectly serve for the long-term stay for those who can afford it.
There is a lot of space to sit and relax outside the apartment as well: in the spacious lobby area and exceptionally designed lobby bar. We also enjoyed a good evening time in the hotel restaurant (the Armenian national kitchen). I can not judge about the breakfast, because we were sleeping long, so didn't take the breakfast.
The staff (both - the hotel reception and restaurant) was kind and polite, so overall we had a very pleasant experience.
I always appreciate the distinction and individuality in every matter, in the contrary to bland and faceless things, so I'd recommend this hotel to those who have the similar point of view, and appreciate the quality and comfort.
When we'll be in Klaipeda, we'll definitely stay in this hotel again.

Room Tip: The business class apartment worth extra money: it's bigger and better than a standard...
