A perfect hotel. The staff were gracious from my arrival to my departure, and were there whenever I needed them. I felt not only welcome at the hotel, but because of the environment they created I felt at home in Budapest. The room was beautiful, and cleaned to perfection every day. I appreciated the tiny details, like a weather forecast left on my desk every evening. The breakfast was delicious, the best breakfast buffet I have ever experienced. The spa was divine, and I wiled away many an hour there, enjoying the sauna and the quiet relaxing music. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, and I didn’t hear a noise all night.

Unfortunately my final evening in Budapest was tainted slightly by a taxi driver attempting to exploit me for around £30 by shortchanging me. I had challenged the driver in the taxi outside the hotel at which point he had become very aggressive and followed me into the hotel. Needless to say the staff at the Prestige handled the situation professionally, and went beyond the call of duty. I ended up receiving my money back from the taxi driver (to his disdain). My advice to travellers is to be wary of taxi firms, especially in the early hours of the morning when they seem more inclined to exploit tourists unfamiliarity with the currency. Give them the money exactly if you can, don’t let them short change you.

The Prestige is an exquisite hotel, and I hope to return again. Thank you!

We visited this hotel to celebrate a special occasion. We opted for a standard room because we mostly wanted the room for some sleep and the main aim was to explore Budapest. On the hotel learning it was a special occasion we arrived to a bottle of wine in the room with a card and they upgraded us to a suite.

The suite was massive. The hotel was quiet at night and the beds were as comfortable as they get. One of the staff visit you each evening offering to make your bed, provide you with chocolates and give you a weather update. This hotel makes you feel like royalty. Need a European plug adaptor. No problem. Need an umbrella no problem. Want a taxi no problem. Store the bags on departure no problem.

Breakfast was ample, they have limited hot food, sausage and bacon, but cook eggs fresh for you. Orange juice is filled up by staff whenever your glass get empty or you can help yourself. (We didnt like watching other hotel guests click their fingers at staff for top ups, because the staff simply would do anything to help.)

The location of the hotel is central to good tourist parts, the river and also lots of nearby restaurants. I cant think of much more this hotel could provide. We left our swimming costumes out in the room and found additional towels appeared, it's just the little things you remember.

Great hotel and would highly recommend.

It was our first stay in Budapest and we are glad we chose the Prestige Hotel Budapest.
The location close to the chain bridge, the metro station and the street car made it easy to experience the city starting from the hotel. And the short distance to the Danube is a very nice feature for walks in the evening after dining.
The hotel is practicing a hygene protocoll effectively with sufficient sanitizer, face masks and distancing. The breakfast buffet was well replaced by waiters and was rich and tasty. All the time we felt safe and in good hands.
The room was very clean and sanitized and the housekeeping service was completely satisfying. Once the fresh bedsheets had some little hairs in it. Maybe after the laundry service they remained. But only once. So nothing to complain at all.
The room was very calmly located and the beds were pretty good for our taste.
All in all we are very happy we stayed in the Prestige. Great city, friendly citizens and a comfortable hotel stay. Thank you. See you again.

We stayed here for just under a week mainly due to the location of the hotel but we got far more than we expected. Before even arriving we were provided with a menu of the extras the hotel offers.

We decided not to book a taxi through the hotel as it was more expensive than just picking one up at the airport. Having said that we got lucky getting out of the airport quickly so there wasn’t really a queue. If you aren’t so lucky you could be waiting a while.

On arrival the staff rushed to take our bags from us. Whilst we were checking in another member of staff ensured a lift was called waiting for us as soon as check in was completed. Just one example of excellent service.

The room was large, warm and bright with a coffee machine and different types of teas. There was water, chocolate and a little card telling us the weather for the next day. This was all replaced every day with the chocolates provided during their turn down service. All the things expected from a luxury hotel.

The hotel is ideally located right near the chain bridge and only short, well lit walks to the Basilica and the main Pest shopping area. I couldn’t think of a better location in the city.

Every day they had free warm tea for the cold weather that you could help yourself to. The restaurant we didn’t try but I think it’s a very high end restaurant.

Check out was quick and when leaving our bags we were asked if we wanted a taxi. The taxi to the airport was cheaper then from it which meant it was about the same price as a regular taxi so we booked. The taxi was a Mercedes with free water provided and definitely worth getting.

This hotel was incredible and for the price you just can’t find better in Budapest. An absolute must stay if visiting this wonderful city!

Prestige Hotel was our preferred place to stay in Budapest during the last 4 years; this year we traveled back to Budapest as soon the city was opened for tourists. The accommodation and breakfast were at the same high standards we have been used to in Prestige; the cleaning and safety were outstanding and we did not have any doubt we are safe and risk free everywhere on the property ground. Moreover the city of Budapest provide the visitors with high confidence in terms of respecting and implementing the safety rules to keep the population and the visitors without any risk.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in January and we were extremely impressed with the quality of this hotel. We had undertaken extensive research into hotels and this had topped our list based on price, decor, location and food. We were extremely pleased we chose this hotel as everything about the experience was wonderful. From complimentary gifts in the room such as spices, chocolate and a little note book to the lovely jacuzzi facility and great customer service, all details have been considered. The breakfast was great and catered for ‘gluten free’ options, the mini bread rolls are the best gluten free bread we’ve ever tasted. Great location, close to everything you need. We did a wine tour, recommended by the hotel and was one of the best experiences of the holiday. I would recommend this hotel 110% and will definitely return :)

We were very impressed with the aesthetic and cleanliness of the place, the location was perfect if you are wanting to sight see and walk around the city. The thing that really elevates this place is the service and care that staff provide guests; from reception, to housekeeping and to the attached restaurant all staff were utterly fantastic. They even helped us out when I realised hours later after checking out, that I stupidly left our passports in the room!

Since COVID19 we haven't been anywhere else since this trip and looking back, the staff made our brilliant city break that extra bit special, would thoroughly recommend to all.

Arrived in Budapest for my birthday weekend at the Prestige hotel. This is a wonderful hotel and the smell as you enter is sublime, you then emerge into the reception area which is stunning with its magnificent chandelier and glass roof then check-in to the beautifully decorated rooms. Check in was smooth and the staff were professional, friendly and attentive, we were upgraded to a superior room as a birthday treat which was a lovely surprise .
We booked breakfast for our 3 day stay and I would highly recommend this, the staff were friendly and pleasant and always on hand to see to any requests, the food was superb and of very good quality, the baked goods were baked fresh daily and the gluten free rolls and muffins were delicious.
NB: If you love the scent as much as I did you can purchase a room spray from the concierge.
The location of the hotel is very good to explore the sights and there are a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Whilst the museums, theatres etc were closed due to the Coronavirus this did not spoil our weekend and if anything this gives us an excuse to return to this beautiful city.
I would highly recommend a stay at the Prestige and would love to return one day.

We stayed here in February 2022 on a short city break and enjoyed every minute of the stay.

The hotel is situated very conveniently, being only a few minutes walk from the Danube, St Stephen's Basilica and the heart of Pesh. Access to the Metro (Budapest's underground) and other public transport is therefore easy and makes getting around both convenient and inexpensive.

Situated on a side street surrounded by other buildings I was a little worried that the hotel would feel claustrophobic as it has few external views. This is cleverly solved by the layout of the hotel which has a central open area allowing every room windows and an outlook.

The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated, modern and large by comparison to other hotels I've stayed at in Europe. The queen size bed and luxurious bedding were much appreciated. The bathroom was small but again beautifully finished and contained everything we needed (shower, hairdryer and every shampoo/soap you can imagine). There's a coffee machine and TV showing Hungarian channels and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel staff were exceptional. The reception staff and concierge were always friendly and very helpful. They seemed genuinely happy to help us get the very most out of our trip to the city taking the time to make sure we knew where to go and how to get around. Housekeeping was also great with our room being cleaned daily.

The hotel has a restaurant on-site (Costes Downtown) that we had breakfast at each day. Breakfast opens at 6:30am and closes at 10:30am. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner and is purported to be Michelin starred.

We tried out the hotel's gym, jacuzzi and sauna on our last day. The gym is quite small but adequately equipped. The sauna was lovely but the jacuzzi was rather cold and so we weren't brave enough to get in.

I would happily stay in this hotel again.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for three nights and i booked it based on the reviews on this site.
I also contacted the hotel in advance to book a table in their Michelin star restaurant Costes Downtown
I also explained that i wanted to propose to my girlfriend during Dinner
When we arrived the hotel looked fantastic and while checking in my girlfriend went to look around the restaurant as she had planned to propose to me as well.
This is where i have to say that things just got better and better
While i was at reception i was quietly told that we had been upgraded to a suite
The room was amazing and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean
The dinner was so good and all the staff were so professional with their service during the meal with lovely personal touches to help celebrate our engagement
The hotel facilities were spot on and i could not find any faults at all
On a practical note, the Prestige Hotel is within easy walking distance to lots of attractions and very close to the Chain Bridge
I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff of the Prestige Hotel who not only kept both our secrets but made our stay a wonderful experience which we will never forget
We loved Budapest and cant wait to come back
Needless to say we wont be staying anywhere else
