What a fabulous location ! We spent two nights here and loved it. The rooms are a little basic but reasonably sized and very clean. We had a terrace overlooking the Danube River and Parliament and it was spectacular. The location was ideal, within walking...More
This hotel took our breath away by the sheer vantageness if the location where it is - it’s on the Buda shores of the Danube - with the Parluament house in all its glory right outside your window ( if you get the rooms with...More

Nice big rooms with mini bar fridge. Location allows for walking across the chain bridge for lots of dinning choices. Restaurant is fine but inconsistent. We ate at the restaurant 3 of the 4 next nights. I have a gluten allergy and was impressed with...More
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many
events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.

It depends on what you wish to see, the hotel is right opposite the beautiful parliament building and in the centre of all the action however a lot of the points of interest are spread out around the city and some of which could be difficult to access with limited mobility. But yes, the hotel is very central and in an ideal location. The hotel is fantastic at organising transport for you though and will happily book you taxis for days out to places further away.
Hope this helps.
