Another year, another summer stay (August 2020 and August 2021). Bet value for money. Big rooms with very good served meals. Good service, good staff and what is more - perfect location near to the Park and City center.
Not only the service was incompetent and slow but also the waiting time for even drinks was too long. 2 of the dishes didn’t even come. Raw burger served with an old, chewy (breakfast style) bun. Other burgers were not raw but simply disgusting. French fries were also not eatable. Misleading information regarding the availability of specific dishes. Goose, entrecôtes (not even an actual entrecôte) were like a stone and burned. Wine was served in a wrong temperature. One of the worst experiences in a very long time!
I have decided to rest in Polanica Zdrój for the first time in my life. The city centre is OK with nice bordwalk, restaurants, parks. The property itself - bo complain. Small remark no fridge in the room. Final expression is good.
We spent four nights with our grandkids and overall impression is quite good. Very well equipped rooms, nice interior, tasty breakfast with loads of variety bio-food. Only dinners at the most average. Not really prepared for a family - kids have difficulties with chosing something tasty, not too salty or spicy. Last nights dinner had only potatoes for them so in spite of having paid for tha accommodation + HB we had to pay extra for their dinner. Pity. There is salt and pepper on every table - why these dishes are so spicy? Nice idea to put fruits on a tray for everybody to have a pick, Many (like bananas and kiwi fruit) may not need washing, apples do, however.
We arrived on Dec. 30 to stay one night. Fast and super friendly check-in. The front desk person was very helpful, showed us around common areas, informed us about coffee/tea station and breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large, modern and clean however the lighting was somewhat dim. There was (were) groups of people who were loud and 'active' for sometime after 11 pm but it's hard to blame the hotel for that. The only complain was breakfast: it was VERY busy. The staff was always available taking care of the buffet (very ample serving of foods), tableware, etc but the main issue was the coffee machine (!). It is designed to produce espresso, cappuccino, etc but not for that volume of people. It took 20 min to get my first cup of coffee... The machine was overworked, failed at some point not producing hot milk, etc. You get the picture... 5-8 anxious people waiting to get their morning java, getting agitated with the outcome. Very nice staff was trying to remedy the problem but that machine should be replaced. Forget about getting breakfast at 9 am. Wait till the end of the service time. Parking is free but unloading your bags, getting to the parking and out of the hotel is a challenge.…
I stayed for 2 nights. The room was modern and clean. Breakfast was tasty and was so mAny choices. Very relaxed place. I highly recommend it. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay again in next my visit
