Fabulous stay at Hotel Pod Vezi. Everyone who works there is helpful, and our room was a quiet oasis after busy days sightseeing. Perfect location, too! We ate in the restaurant one evening, and it was delicious Czech cuisine. Lovely gifts in room each day....More

This is a fabulous boutique hotel with old world charm! The staff is fabulous! My husband and I are world travelers who have stayed in the best hotels including the Ritz Carlton in Barcelona. This is not the Ritz, it's so much better! The rooms...More

We all have expectations of how good our holiday hotel can be. Hotel Pod Vezi surpassed all our expectations with excellent staff and a character filled well maintained hotel. So much so we are returning for a second visit.
Our stay here was excellent with nothing to complain about. We were in the dependence on the 2nd floor, room was large with an air conditioner and the bed was comfy. Shower was just an over-bath type but the bathroom was clean and well maintained....More

Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch

shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

You may be surprised to find quite a few tourists at that time of the year. Unlike the summer, activities in December shift indoors but eating places would remain open.
