Personal was great , especially at the reception desk and in the restaurant room ( Ismail) . Hotel was very clean , rooms and beds were comfortable . I would rate restaurant food with good , but not excelent because breakfast could be better.
A great hotel to stay with family in Maafushi. Very good rooms with wonderful views of the sea and beach. Very courteous staff with excellent service. The staff are always available to make sure that you have a great start and experience. They take interest to understand your requirements and offer excursions suited too everyone's interests.Thev Real Break is a great option, offering something for everyone. Very well conducted by Kaani, with stunning photos as well. Very well managed by the term at Kaani Palm in Maafushi - by the Manager Dabura, Raame and Magic and the team. They take care too ensure a great experience for all their guests. Overall thanks to Kaan Palm team for making this a great experience for the entire family.
Room is really worth every cent you pay for. Amazing view, new room.. Request hight floor is the best because some nights there is party with quite loud music on the beach. However, we Love it and will definitely come back.
🛌Outstanding accomodations however, no idea about the worthy of price, since we got the package from an Airline✈️ 10/10 🧑🍳🍱 Buffet menu must be improved, specially Breakfast. BF: 4/10, L: N/A, D: 5/10 🏨Helpful Staffs but need to be more cordial. My rating: 9/10
We had a good overall stay but there were some things that really killed the vibe. 1) The towels were horrible, I don't think I have seen such worse towels ever in any hotel in all of my travels. 2)The water took a long time to come. We booked the cruise for dolphin watching, swimming with nurse sharks and sting ray feeding with lunch on a sandbank. We were 30 people on the boat and for swimming with nurse sharks, 2 people could go at a time. And on average, each person took 20 minutes. So a stationary boat, standing idle in the middle of the ocean just wobbling violently for more than an hour, it made many people sick. My recommendation is to book a smaller boat with less people cause the waiting really killed the vibe and lot of people on the boat threw up and got sick. For the sandbank also, the boat is parked some distance away so you have to waddle some distance in knee length water before you reach the sandbank so keep that in mind before booking the cruise. The hotel though is in a perfect location with beach right at the doorstep. The spa also is really good though overpriced as is everything in Maafushi. If you are coming just to Maafushi, better to visit Thailand or Philippines. The beach is not that great it's very rocky and you have to wear beach socks and despite wearing them, me my husband and son all had cuts on our legs and feet. We stayed at a resort before coming to Maafushi and the beach there was the same. Only the sandbar beach was like perfect powdery sand which you envision when you imagine Maldivian beaches. Overall, found Maafushi to be extremely expensive. …
Excellent location, great view. We stayed in 2701 and 2801 for 3 nights. Though our ask was for adjacent rooms but probably they have such quadruple occupancy sea view with balcony rooms one in every floor. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staffs were supportive. Check-in / Check-out and Airport transfers arrangements were fine. However, few observations: 1. In quadruple room, they just gave 3 small complimentary water bottles daily which is 500ml each. Not sufficient at all. 2. Towels were very old and discolour. Very unhygienic. 3. Lift area is extremely hot and suffocating. 4. Excursions were taken from hotel's own tour plans but they didn't disclose about the walk way thru water to reach sandbank and also didn't provide any life jacket during night fishing. 5. We had selected Kaani Palm and paid higher than Kaani's other property to avail Swimming pool facility but could avail only once out of our 3 nights stay. Was under maintenance rest of the time. Very disappointing. 6. Complimentary Buffet Breakfast had limited items but they were okay. Buffet Dinner didn't have much variety and most dishes were too dry in nature. 7. Dinning area is very hot during breakfast as there is no AC and also they keep all doors closed. 8. Too many flies, should use some insect repellents.…
All things were terrible experiences at kaani palm beach except the view of seaview room. The most terrible was the front desk white woman she always look down to every guests with no smile. Besides the hotel only offer dirty smelly and white turned into grey towels . The water pressure was so low at high level rooms. I think the most important thing to Kaani is hard selling their big group excursions to guest when guests just get arrival.
I’m surprised by the good reviews here as my experience was terrible. I checked in to the Kaani palms to be told I was ‘upgraded’ to a different hotel and moved across the street to a room right above a huge party. I asked to be moved to a quieter room and was told the place I actually booked was fully booked. When asked for my money back to stay elsewhere , suddenly they found a room to move me to. The skinny young girl on reception was the WORST guest services agent I have ever met. She practically threw my room key at me and refused to provide a second one even though there was two of us. No one met us at the port despite being told they would. I’d say try the arena hotel or Triton.
We stayed in Kaani Palm Resort for two days and everything was wonderful. Amazing beaches, beautiful surroundings. It was feeling like being in paradise. We had an amazing experience during our short stay. At reception we were welcomed by KABIR . He explained everything about the resort. Thanks to him we had one of the best rooms and our experience was great thanks to him.He is the employee that every employer wants at his company. Friendly, professional, kind and always available to make us feel comfortable. Definitely we will come back. We hope to see you soon KABIR.....
