Had a lovely private room with a double bed, very inexpensive for accommodation on Stewart Island. Was extremely clean and quirky, could not have asked for a better place to come back to after days of hiking / exploring. Has a cupboard to store baggage...More

Well what can ya say, it’s Stewart Island! so far as budget accomodation goes it was awesome, extremely comfortable, the host Anna and libby were so friendly, happy and helpful and nothing was ever a problem!

Bunkers was the perfect place to relax for two nights after walking the Rakiura. It's clean, warm, relaxed and friendly with everything you need. Patrick, the host, kindly stored our extra stuff while we tramped, and had our room ready for us when we returned....More
