Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

Nice apartment with good environment and location, easy to find and free tram zone is nearby. Room is big enough and with small kitchen and lots of utilities that allow us to cook, but the fridge is a bit not cold enough.

Overall a nice, clean hotel. Centrally located and good value. The front of house staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. This hotel is close to a very good transit system that is free for the central portion of Melbourne. I would stay here again.

We normally stayed at the Grand Mercure however it was getting in need of a renovation so we tried the Pegasus and stayed in a one bedroom executive. This was basically a 2 bedroom with the second bedroom converted to an office/study with a desk and heaps of shelf space. The

Does grayline tours pick up from your hotel?
I joined a 3 days local tour. They provided pick up and return services right in front of the Hotel. I think you should ask the tour to confirm the pick up services before you join any tour

How is the breakfast spread? is it recommended?
I didn't get the breakfast menu spread. I did order dinner - (night meal) at their Restaurant. I ordered a fish platter with vegetables and cooked potato chips. It was huge. (They don't have room service but you can order and they will ring you when it is ready to be picked up. I stayed in a studio apartment). I had enough for the next day's lunch left over. Great bar staff as well especially in happy hour between i think 6 and 7 pm.

Yes, they do. But depends. My case was that they took credit card information, but didn't charge, except for $1 for card verification.
