Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Perfect location. Fraser island is so beautiful and accessible. Staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were good, except maybe our meal at the sand bar. Chips were overcooked and dry

Great place for a leisurely 3 day stay. You can enjoy the beach, go on bush walks or relax by the pool. Try the food and drinks at the various areas - Chicken/Bacon pizza at the Sandbar is the winner.

Overall a good experience although the food was average (Maheno restaurant) for the price we paid. Staff are very good and the location is great. Rooms are fine but the overall cost of the stay does not make it a great value for money option.

A very relaxing place to visit and stay at, where you can do nothing if you wish or various tours, walking, etc, as you feel like it. Staff and visitors alike are friendly. It's catching! The room and other amenities were clean and very comfortable....More

Excellent location, staff excellent but Breakfast would be better if food was hot. Room had lots of cobwebs present. If prices were a bit cheaper people wouldn't feel it was necessary to bring their own. Overall a lovely spot.

the beach where the barge docks is nice and calm, great for the kids. that's about a 5-10 minute walk. Main surf beach (where swimming isn't recommended) is on the other side. You'll need a 4wd to access this beach.

I don’t know about “everything” but if you book on the tour it would probably cover most. We had our own transport so could please ourselves. There are walks as well and water activities. It depends what you want to do.

Hi, I don't believe there are regularly scheduled tours from Fraser Island over to Lady Elliot. Access to LE is generally from Hervey Bay and so you'd have to get to HB from Fraser Island quite early in the morning to be... More
